The room was badly designed with a radiator almost against the bed. The radiator 'banged' most of the night so I didn't get any sleep at all and the room was far too hot, especially with the proximity of the radiator to the bed. The mattress was like concrete but also managed to be lumpy and the pillows were that hard that they made my ears hurt when I lay on my side. Altogether, I think this was the worst night I'd ever spent in a hotel (or anywhere else for that matter!) |

The room was very large and comfortable. It was snowing outside but we didn't feel the cold apart from in the bathroom. We were able to sit down and relax in our room which you don't get at most hotels unless you pay more for it. Plenty of hangers for clothes!! The bathroom only had a net curtain and we were overlooked by apartments, not very private for bathing/showering when it is dark and you need the light on, unless of course you are a naturist!!! |

Proximity to city centre, bar and food readily available, friendly staff, safe. Room was not warm enough for zero temperature, window didnt lock tight enough causing a draft , no internal room heating and no remote control for tv. |

The staff were very helpful! I booked a double room and got a twin. I was moved to another double room but that too was a double. Third time lucky i was moved to a double room but i did not sleep as it was right next to the lift!! A complementary room may make up for these errors!! |

Excellent location, everything in city centre in easy walking distance, also short walk to universities. Beautiful historic hotel with an air of "faded glory" but perfectly reasonable place to stay for business or a city break. Free wireless internet is available, but only in the lounge and lobby, not in the rooms. Somewhat understaffed, and TV reception is fairly poor. |

We can say the location was as we expeted:very close to the city center. The Hotel is very big and very cheap too. So you can't pretend a a perfect service and hotel staff. But we raccomanded to everyone as the value in money is really good. |

The central location is perfect whether it's shopping, city tours, museums or football that you are looking for. There was only one TV channel in our room ( channel 5 ), when we reported this at the reception, we were told that all the TV's were like that due to upgrading , which was not true. We were travelling with another couple a few doors away on the same floor that had the full amount of channels. |
