It is pretty clean in this hotel, and it very close to the city centre, you can get anywhere you want. Service staff is not very warm, and I get the worst rome in the Hotel, which even do not have a window. |

location ideal staff were unhelpful, no hot water on arrival, hardly any heating. rooms dated, beds uncomfortable, bar expensive, and staff could barely speak english |

The room was very large and comfortable. It was snowing outside but we didn't feel the cold apart from in the bathroom. We were able to sit down and relax in our room which you don't get at most hotels unless you pay more for it. Plenty of hangers for clothes!! The bathroom only had a net curtain and we were overlooked by apartments, not very private for bathing/showering when it is dark and you need the light on, unless of course you are a naturist!!! |

Location Room was dirty and cold , old fashioned mismatch of out dated furniture, receptionist clearly didn't want to be there , hot water was warm at best , have stayed here before and it was ok this time the room was horrendous room 642 |

Excellent location, everything in city centre in easy walking distance, also short walk to universities. Beautiful historic hotel with an air of "faded glory" but perfectly reasonable place to stay for business or a city break. Free wireless internet is available, but only in the lounge and lobby, not in the rooms. Somewhat understaffed, and TV reception is fairly poor. |

the hotel was very central. the staff were friendly and helpful.the hotel was clean and comfortable. the hotel is an old and adorable but the decor could be up dated in some parts of the hotel such as the residence baran and one or two places. |

We can say the location was as we expeted:very close to the city center. The Hotel is very big and very cheap too. So you can't pretend a a perfect service and hotel staff. But we raccomanded to everyone as the value in money is really good. |

it was close to the train station and the city centre we were informed on arrival 1 of our rooms had been cancelled, none of the tv s worked, there was soil on the floor in the bathroom and bath and the toilet looked like it had been used |

The central location is perfect whether it's shopping, city tours, museums or football that you are looking for. There was only one TV channel in our room ( channel 5 ), when we reported this at the reception, we were told that all the TV's were like that due to upgrading , which was not true. We were travelling with another couple a few doors away on the same floor that had the full amount of channels. |

Being In the Centre of Town How unbelievebly outdated and Tired the rooms are and the with out doubt the worst bathroom i have had the displeasure of seeing in any hotel in this country and abroab !! absolute disgrace is the only way to be polite |

The location was excellent it is situated right in the heart of the centre, the taxi rank is just at the side of the hotel so there is always one available. The rooms were quite big and comfortable. the staff were very helpful, would stay here again if travelling to Liverpool |

Handsome public rooms, friendly staff, very conveniently situated, interesting booklets in each bedroom telling history of this amazing building. Disappointed not to be able to have a cup of tea in the beautiful big lounge after 3.30pm. Staff too keen to lay tables for breakfast before we had had supper (Jenny's restaurant). |

Grumpy staff, rooms and public areas badly laid out, dismal decor and overpriced. Does not do justice to the city. I stayed in 2 other Liverpool hotels on that trip anb both were wonderful reflecting the energy and optimishotelm of the city. Everybody in the Adelphi seemed depressed. We cut our stay there short and moved to a different |
