First hotel what was actually cold
Close to Airport. Friendly helpfull staff
The location and the comfortable bed
The hotel needs a lot redecoration. The carpets are worn and dirty, the furniture needs replacing. Walls are dirty and chairs were stained in my room.
Fast cheak in
No jacuzzi bath
Staff were friendly and helpful. Good parking, easy to get to. Room was well sound proofed and plenty of tea, coffee and milk. Booked late so paid £139 for the room.
The reception and bar area was quite cold. As was most of the meal. The room its self was quite dirty, stains on carpets and curtains. Bathroom small but clean.
nothing i left
filthy, dirty and very old.
Good location to get food easily.
The hotel was really old fashioned, carpets were old and stained, bath was old, no iron in the room I had to go and collect it and pay £10 deposit. The iron was cheap and leaked water all over my clothes. I wouldn't pay £45 for this hotel again! It was not value for money!!
everythin. rooms were dirty, I booked for a double bed and was given a twin uncomfortable bed which couldn't be combine. staff not trust worthy at all
Quick service, politeness.
Decor a bit shabby. A shame because everything else was perfect.
Shocking Poor Breakfast, No heating downstairs, needs some major investment
They had plenty of loo paper
Stains on mattress Shoe prints on wall Ceiling stained with ...?? Drink Surface on dressing table burnt or water marked Burns by curtain ..which was hanging off . Toilet didn't flush unless you opened the cistern .
Parking available. Close to town centre
Excellent location for early trip to the airport. Onward transfer in free shuttle bus. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice room . Top value for money. Will stay again.
Was a bit cold in bar area, but it was freezing outside.
Needs new carpets
The location, the staff were pleasant
This hotel is in a real need of a refurbishment. The wallpaper was fading and torn, the light-fittings in my room were rusty and the lampshades cracked and damaged. It was definitely not good value for the premium price they charge for the location.
Good value plenty of parking
I'll be honest it's not the Hilton but then your not paying their prices. All in all you get what you pay for and I was satisfied with all aspects of the hotel for the price I paid. The restaurant food was very enjoyable and the breakfasts were excellent with so many choices. I would stay their again if I needed to travel up North
Would have been nice to have freeview tv
The room was clean and smelt fresh
Although we paid extra to upgrade the room only appeared basic. Certainly nothing like the photos show. I dread to think what the standard room was like. The room was also very shabby in need of a serious refurb. We also paid to eat in the restaurant(term used loosely) a 3 course meal. It's the worst meal we've ever had in a 'restaurant' a buffet style 3 course meal dirreferent.
Location to the airport was good. There was secure parking.
Check in staff were not helpful all they did was take payment and give key out. Room was tiny, bed was tiny, bathroom was unclean. We both wanted a shower but did not end up having one as we would have got out feeling more dirty then we did before. The whole room was just miserable and very noisy, we had an awful nights sleep. Nobody told us about the eating facilities so we went to the restaurant were we were told the only food available was the 3 course buffet and a drink for £13. Do not eat here. The food had no taste and we couldn't even make it to desert as it made us both sick (literally) we were in the bathroom all night and had really bad stomach craps. They do sell other food in the bar area which were more like pub. Classics but nobody wanted to tell us this they just pushed the buffet. Everytime we left the room the key card would reset and we would have to go to reception to activate the card again. All in all the whole experiance was a nightmare we will never be returning even if it was free.
It was cheap
Bar closed at 11 no food when sandwiches advertised 24 hr very cold in bar
Close to the main parts of manchester
Cheap and cheerful.
No WIFI in rooms. Too far away from airport.
