Not too far from airport
Not enough staff in restaurant, 2.5 hrs for a meal. Worn decor, cold in public areas, parking difficult (designed for small cars in 1960s)
When I entered the room I was pleasantly surprised. Clean and new looking bathroom, decent bedding with even an ironing board The heating worked well and so did the internet downstairs
When I first arrived I was really put off as the hotel desperately needs a lick of paint. The bed was strangely made up- probably because the bed is smaller than a normal double yet the bedding is sized for a double
I liked the happy hour at the bar,the reception service, cleanliness and location, room space,
We had a stain on our carpet, got stuck in lift, didn't,t take long to get us out.
The Bedrooms were clean and there were all the facilities that you would expect in the room. The staff were very helpful.
The reception area and corridors could do with a facelift as the furniture and decorations were very drab and worn.
carpets in corridors disgusting thread bare in places, rooms need complete refurbishment
Good access to the motorways and airport. The bedroom was better than the rest of the hotel.Price for 2 weeks parking was reasonable.
Almost everything--the hotel was grubby, tired, shabby --badly in need of major investment. Asked for an alarm call that never came and couldn't care less staff said our room phone was probably broken. If you want cheap and nasty go there. Food also awful.
close to the manchester airport
food was terrible. i mean really terrible. even the cheesecake. room was dirty. someone did some strimming around the hotel 22.30. next door neighbors had some fun in the bed, walls are made of cardboard . if you can afford something else please do.
Nothing - sorry!
Low quality of furnishings, doors, carpets etc etc Too many noisy people, esp in lobby and bar area No wi fi in room. No fridge. Toilet seat loose etc etc
Location. Value for money
Furniture fittings and paintwork were scruffy
Having stayed at this hotel several times I can best describe it as Ryanair style. I know what I am getting for the price and to me it is value for money.
Does need some money spent on it. A refurbishment would probably put up prices but it is looking tired and unloved in some areas.
Perfectly situated for my early flight from Manchester. Free Parking Value for money
The hotel is a little run down however this is apparent in the price.
very good for getting to airport no problems only about 10 mins travel time
Interior shaby needs lots of paint, repair and love
- When it rained and you had to wait for the airport pick up, it was not convenient.
We enjoyed the dinner meal set. It was a good value and tasty. The ease of calling a taxi to the airport The clean bathrooms
The decor has become rather tired The elevator was missing the #3 and replaced by the close>< sign The shower control was operative but missing parts.
having to use 3 dud key cards net curtains very x10 dirty
Comfortable, clean rooms. Linen was fresh. Had everything in the room that you would need for a comfy night's stopover. Close to airport, helpful staff, very cheap rate. Will stay in future if stopping over between flights
getting out in the morning
filthy hotel, dirty rooms dirty carpets , grotty the list is endless
Parking for two weeks included in room rate. Better than at the airport.
Hotel is from seventies and nothing has changed since then. Asked for double and got twin room. Hair on the floor in the bathroom. Parking was so full and staff just said, find a space. We squeezed in last free spot. Parking spaces are so small that we were scared the whole holiday in our car gets scratched.
Clean room, good sleep
Parking not good
The location is perfect for Manchester airport. Staff were helpful
the hotel was shabby and made it look dirty and the beds were very uncomfortable.
£1.80 for a bottle of water
Room was clean and quiet.
When I asked about the airport shuttle, I was told by hotel staff it was a waste of money and that they recommended I book a taxi. No wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby. The halls had a sickening chemical smell. The taps in the bathroom were falling off. Parking was a nightmare, one way out requiring a gate code that was not provided to us at check in.
food good bed comfy perfect location for airport
no satalite tv
Everything was very jaded. Wouldn't recommend it
