The Hotel is very close to Manchester Airport ( 3 mile), and the hotel runs a mini bus service to the airport. At a cost of £5 per person. I was in room 827 on the 8th floor, this has to be one of the worst hotel rooms I have been allocated in the uk. The room was stinking of dam and although the room was sufficient for a single traveler with the layout etc. that is no excuse for giving this room out to a fare paying traveler, after being unable to stay any longer in the room I went and complained to the hotel reception and was given a room on the 1st floor, which was acceptable clean and smell free. However I do believe that £5 for a seat on the mini bus for a 3 mile journey is extremely expensive, when you consider that in just one run the hotel made £35 out of 7 people for just one journey to the airport, when a taxi for 4 would have cost £11 Also there was a special deal on at the hotel for £19 and my room cost £29 as I had booked through booking.com, just don't figure??? No wonder the reception just told me that they had already processed my credit card.

Nothing special. The bar down stares was probably the best thing as live sports were shown on the TV. Breakfast (full breakfast and continental) was horrible. The room was too hot on entry and smelt wet and mouldy. The hotel is right next to the motorway which was noisy. Hotel far from Manchester and we couldn't find anything to eat locally and thus ate at the hotel which wasn't that great.

The location suited perfectly a one night stay car parking for a week and a short trip to Manchester Airport The staff were not very well organised in reception and the check-in computer system was slow, the room I was given had not been serviced and the key card would not work for the other allocated room nor the replacement card that I had to go and collect. No advice was given about how to exit the carpark and this resulted in a return to reception for a code. The hotel is rundown and tired, the windows were very dirty spoiling a decent view and the window screens were very dirty and frayed giving a very poor first impression.

We stayed here to avoid travelling in the morning rush hour from home around the m60 to the airport. For the very low price we paid the room was perfectly acceptable, clean and comfortable with all the facilities you would expect of this type of chain hotel. There was a decent bar area - we didn't use the restaurant so can't comment. Both staff we spoke to were very helpful and the shuttle bus service to and from the airport for £5 both ways per person was great - the driver was really friendly and it took all of ten minutes door to door - really took the hassle out of getting to the airport. I would certainly stay here again for the same reasons. If I had to pick out any negatives the hotel was a bit 'tired' eg paintwork was in need of a freshen up and a window cleaner wouldn't go amiss! But the room was clean and comfortable and for the £24 we paid I have no complaints.

Hotel was cheap and lived up to the price. Recommended for solo travellers as a cheap hotel near to airport. Difficult to recommend for couples or families. Rooms very noisey to the front with traffic on the motorway going all night. Glazing very poor and light curtains. If staying here look for room to the rear of the hotel not rooms 27 or 23. Did not receive alarm call. If using the coach transfer you must book the night before I nearly got caught.

I was greeted on arrival by a drunk in reception. My room on floor 4 and along the corridors had a strong smell of damp. The lifts smelt of food and urine, probably as a chicken bone had been thrown on the floor there. Makes you embrassed to be British when you see overseas visitrs staying there. Just glad to get out of there and will not stay again. No matter how cheap

very well priced for a cheap night. could do with a very good clean, and some money spending on updating carpets. tbh i could gather together a group of people employed by hotel and do a good job of painting and washing cleaning and make it look a lot more presentable. some new tvs needed as well.

I did not like anything about this hotel . I thought this hotel was very dirty and the whole hotel smelt of smoke. I also felt that the beds very uncomfortable, there was a spring coming out of the bed that scratched me and my partners legs and arms. The staff in the hotel were very rude and the price of the hotel was far too expensive for the state of the room and facilities, the door card would not work and television broke as well. The windows were very grubby and stinky, we couldn't even open or close them. I would go as far as asking for my money back but, I know this is most certainly impossible because of the price of the hotel was too expensive for its standards. A total let down that ruined our weekend!!

Little bit rough around the edges but for the price it was very well equipped and to a more than satisfactory level of cleanliness. A better standard than any other hotel for this price range in my opinion. I had lost my boarding pass for my flight and the staff were happy to print me off a new one for free. Was very much appreciated! It wasn't perfect but at the price I don't think I can make any complaints!

The member of staff on reception was very good, in the morning nice greeting. The breakfast had a good choice and staff ok. With exception to the chinese man and he was excellent. The staff on reception in the evening we seemed to be an interupption to there work, room was a little tired and mildew dew in and around the shower. The towels were not that clean they had stains on them.It was the morning that made the stay...

For me it is the general location; bus stops right out side; close to other areas, walk one way you have the Wyenthawe Park at your door step for a great outing in the middle of a busy city; the other way, shops, close by for a local pub; the Farmers' Arms, All is good! Close to the airport, etc. Staff are very accommodating and helpful. Needs a bit of work, carpets need doing; windows a good clean, etc. But I got the impression that is was going to have a face lift sometime soon!
