The only good thing about this hotel is that it is near to Manchester Airport, which was the the purpose of my stay. The room was not what I would consider clean, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, the TV only had a good picture on 2 channels and constantly buzzed. The "Cafe" had run out of both my choices of main meal by 8pm !!, There was no one availale to check me out the following morning at 7am, I was told to just leave my key and go, so didn't get a receipt. |

The hotel was very scruffy, with broken chairs on the landing. The furniture in our room was tatty; the bedside light fitting had no bulb in it, but when one was requested the staff member admitted that he knew that in fact the fitting did not work so there was no point in putting in a bulb. |

I only stayed one night on a mid-week break to attend a football match, but I found the hotel warm, comfortable and easily accessible for my needs. That breakfast was not included in the room price. |

The Bathroom was OK The bedroom was dirty. It hadn't been vacuumed in weeks, with dirt under the bed and other furniture. The windowsills and furniture were dusty. It was a struggle to get some soap to wash with, and had to ask at least four times at reception who were grumpy and clearly didn't want to be there. I would not recommed this hotel to anyone. |

departure Specifically requested 3 single beds, room had 1 double bed and bunk beds. Arrived 10.40pm so didn't complain. Top bunk broke so moved mattress to floor and slept there. Sheets stained and had holes in. |

Excellence of staff. Receptionist, bar attendant, man i/c restaurant, all superb and couldn't have been more helpful. Parking arrangements. We had to hurry out at 8a.m. to feed the meter (only a few pence admittedly) to avoid getting parking tickets on our two cars. Carpet in the bar area might be more inviting than the cold stone. |
