The location was excellent and good value for money. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and happy to help.Pleasant stay.
Very plain room, could do with a lick of paint.
The 1st receptionist when we checked in was lovely
Night staff were disgraceful Hotel was dirty & just disgusting Wouldn't recommend it to anyone
The hotel is fantastic It's was a great experience
Bed reasonably comfortable and bath room was clean.
everything else. Torn curtains, single glazing meant condensation and moisture with room cold, burn marks in seat and carpet, mould on ceiling near window, paint peeling off ceiling within window bay. Condition of lift and carpets in corridors not appealing to say the least. Photos available to back my comments up.
no evening meal availability
Centrally located in town for restaurants and shops.
Stairs to the lift and lobby entrance.
The room stank of smoke and had a huge damp stain on ceiling
The location was only thing I liked.
The hotel was tatty, unkempt and scruffy. The room was cold, one of the lights didn't work, only one towel and one toilet roll, no blankets would never stay again.
Close to the airport. Comfortable bed, clean room
Steps up to the lift Obscenities scratched on the lift door Jaded and rundown
Close to some excellent restaurants. Staff are very friendly. Good value for money for the area.
It could do with a bit more cleaning especially the window frames and the sealant in the bathroom.
It was a bed for the night!
Hotel looked shabby / noisy untidy reception / bar was like something from 'el dorado' or a cheap Spanish promenade style bar / upholstery ripped / in bed room - bed hard / toiletr cracked / stained walls - coffee provided was cheaper than cheap / thank god I was not around for breakfast!!!!
in the centre of a beautiful town, pubs restaurants and shopping on the doorstep. reliable taxi to airport.
no heat until 7 pm, and no one with authority to override the timer! The bar with cheap beer was not an option having been taken over by a gang of obnoxious foul mouthed louts.
The room was very clean and well furnished. The bathroom actually had a bath. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful,
The bed was very uncomfortable, and we both kept waking up. Shame about the bed.
Strong smell of smoke throughout. Dirty inside the lift. Mould in the bathroom and black stain on bath mat. Hallway carpets dirty. Decor very tired and not clean.
room was of a good size and clean
hard to find and lack of parking. TV not working properly, no remote. Website shows restaurant on but no evening meals served. Access to hotel was down some steps and would not be suitable for somebody with mobility problems. Lift available but up some steps so once again a problem if you have mobility issues.
Central Location Decent shower
Room stank of stale cigarette smoke. Furnishings old, battered, scruffy and grubby Single glazed filthy mouldy window meant loads of noise through the night Freezing cold Room artwork inappropriate (Picture showing the rape of the Sabine women in what they called a 'Family Room'!! Dirty walls, badly repaired holes in door and walls More a doss house than a hotel
It was handy for the airport and I suppose you get what you pay for
The website said that they had a restaurant it had been closed 6 months even though it still had opening times in the room
Location, cleanliness, comfy bed.
Tired, scruffy looking building, paintwork faded and scuffed, carpets threadbare. Badly in need of refurbishment.
Breakfast. Confortable bed, clean bathroom.
Dirty paintwork, dirty carpets and litter laying around the hotel and in the lift. No clear indication that parking was only available in the public car park. Rowdy young people in the bar using bad language and being served with more drinks when obviously very drunk.
Staff were very helpful and charming
Hard to find
all the beds were terrible and one had to be fixed to be able to sleep in it.
Location, staff, breakfast.
TV didnt work (despite efforts of staff), we had to move the bed as a wall light (which didn't work) was 12" above the pillow
Room was too hot
The location is lovely Hale is a smart place with lovely restaurants and shops, very convenient for visiting Manchester other places and the airport.
The hotel does not reflect the location, it is very tired and dated. The room was damp and there was mold in several places. Not worth the price. As we were visiting family who live in the area it was convenient. The hotel really needs updating.
The staff are very helpfull and very pleasant
Run down and by dated. Major improvements needed.
