There is no Wi-fi.
Easy to find, nice town. Suited us as all we wanted was a bed for the night. Local parking fine.
Minor things - public area carpets threadbare, no spare toilet roll in bedroom, 3 body lotions, no shampoo/shower gel/bubble bath. No remote control for TV. No bath mat.
helpful reception breakfast smoking room
The room was quiet with no traffic or outside noise at night. The weather was very cold but the heating in the room was first-class. The shower was one of the best we've ever had in a hotel. The bed was a large double, extremely comfortable and very clean. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and cheap. The hotel has some shortcomings but we will be staying again, as it was a pleasant and comfortable stay and very good value for money.
The common parts of the hotel are very tired, and all the carpets need either a good clean or replacing. The furniture in the room was quite old and battered. Although the bathroom was fairly modern, there was a lot of mould on the grout of the wall tiles - which gives such a bad impression of the hotel but is so easily rectified!
Friendly female staff
One of the receptionists was funky
The bar closed to early on a Sunday for residents
Friendly staff and comfortable room and very good price compared to other hotels in the area
Conveniently located in the centre of Hale (with ample restuarants and bars) and just a few minutes walk from rail station. Facilities and rooms of average standard offerring all round value for money.
Lighting levels in bedroom was poor. General condition of decor.
Staff on reception and breakfast very good
See above obviously cleanliness and we are non smokers
Location in the middle of Hale - a very nice village / suburb, and only 15 mins drive from Manchester Airport. Good restaurants on the doorstep. Good price and good value for money.
Accommodation was good, but basic and no frills.
The hotel is in an ideal location to reach the airport. I had an early flight and wouldn't have got a night's sleep otherwise. Hale is a lovely area too for dinner. It is very reasonably priced and I would stay here again if I had an early flight.
The bell at reception doesn't work and we waited a long time when trying to check in. The hotel is a bit tired looking but for one night it's ok. They could do with turning their heating down a bit - it was too hot to sleep very well.
Location and friendly staff.
The location wasgood for the airport
was charged twice for breakfast. room 100.
The staff were very friendly and helpfull
The hotel was overall dirty the rooms were clean but dated. If I needed to get out of the window due to fire there was a cable stopping the window opening. The curtains were falling off the rail
The heating didn't work and when we complained the receptionist said he would come turn our radiator valve! As if we hadn't thought of that. Then in the morning there was no hot water and the same guy said no boiler for two days and tough.
run down ... staff of no help
Clean rooms breakfast good
Reception poor finding hotel entrance poor
Location : in the middle of Hale, a small but very nice village: good places to eat nearby. Price: cheapest hotel I have stayed in for many years(£39 for a double room!)
Grubby and poorly staffed. The bedroom we were offered had not been cleaned and they had to find a new one. Walls are incredibly thin and you can hear everything in the hall and adjacent rooms. Poorly furnished and seemed a little unclean. I cannot understand how a hotel in this area can be so poor.
NOthing The whole experience was spoiled by your lack of consideration . I feel I am entitled to some compensation for your lack of information and your intransigent attitude at check in.
I requested 15 days parking when I booked on line but was not informed that parking was unavailable until arrival.i was told I forfeited payment if I cancelled. Had to pay £65 for parking;. Very poor service. You do not advertise no parking so How many people do you con in a year? Airport hotels should offer this facility or should not call themselves Airport Hotels . I feel conned I will never you hotels again and will make sure I let many travelling friends of my disgraceful experience . You must be desparate to survive if you have to sink so low in serving your paying guests.
The facility is very nice and the room was big and comfortable. The position isn't far from the Airport.
The room temperature wasn't adjustable. Even with open windows we sweated all night long. Almost impossible to sleep because of very noisy 'neighbours' banging around and shouting almost up to the morning. The staff has been quite cold and grumpy. (Perhaps because it was late night?)
Basic room but excellent value for money for overnight stop for Manchester Airport
Good location for Manchester Airport. Friendly and helpful Reception staff.
Bed was hard as a rock. Furniture and fittings rather tired. Toilet cistern dripped all night.
The guy on reception was very helpful & kind. Lovely village & people are just different here.
Forget getting back here at night. A taxi cost £30 from Manchester central & half that from the airport.
The location is good for local amenities, and there is a supermarket outside the front door.
The heating was on but the radiator could not be turned off. When I got to my room the window had been left opened and a fan was switched on. There was another fan but owing to the fact that there were no spare plug sockets I had to unplug the TV to turn it on, and then had to listen to both fans all night. To switch the kettle on I had to unplug a fan for the power. There was a receipt left on the bedside cabinet which made me think the room hadn't been cleaned properly, especially as the toilet lid was up and was unflushed from previous use.
Room was very hot with no way to turn off the heating but then no hot water on the morning I left.
