Excellent location, nice and welcoming staff, Clean. No internet in the rooms, and even in the general locations it is slow and poor. The rooms need refreshing, but neat and tidy.

Not a lot. Dark room with little natural light. Tired decor, holes in the carpets on the landings. Hairs (not mine) in the bath. Inflated price on night of stay meant poor value for money. Breakfast was overcooked and the tea served in a urn resulted in it being stewed. Difficult to recommend this hotel in any way.

The entrance way Room was obviously not cleaned, for example there was a makeup pad stuck on the toilet. Very dusty. Tv could not be used and there was no digital receiver. Only one large in a double room. Towel smelled musty. Sticker marks all over the pictures in the walls

Handily situated near Birmingham New Street Station. In need of decorating. Air conditioning unit outside our window was making a noise all night.

The location could not be better - right in the centre of Birmingham. The price for such a great location is amazing. Can't imagine the hotel has had a refurb in decades but it does the job.

After reading reviews I was very apprehensive but was pleasntly surprised. Value for money was excellent. Yes the decor and furniture was jaded but the rooms were comfortable and clean. Every member of staff we spoke to were helpful and friendly and the location for shopping trip could not be beaten. Windows could do with a good clean outside but appreciate this is difficult to do easily

It was a clean and simple hotel. The food was good. Sometimes I was queuing for a long time to talk to a receptionist.

Very poor. I bought a drink from the bar and I had plastic pieces in my drink. Very disappointed
