Dirty, unmaintained, old fashioned, noisy
I slept well and the room was clean
The decor was so shabby and in desperate need of an update... It was like going back in a time watching to the 80's
The location is excellent. We've stayed before, this was a budget break, we knew exactly what we were getting and it was exactly what we wanted. Couldn't fault it for anything. We didn't use the dining area this time, but when we have we've always found it to be very good. We will certainly be returning at some point.
Obviously with such a large premises and a lot of through traffic it is difficult to maintain furnishings to the highest standards, this does not though, in any detract from the facilities.
Doors to rooms don't close properly
Location was the only good thing about this Hotel.
The first room i stayed in was disgusting, the bed was so old the mattress was falling apart, the room was filthy, how it's allowed to be open I do not know, the second room they gave me was a bit better, the bed was a bit better so I stayed for the other 2 nights, the walls are so thin you can imagine what I heard next door from the couple staying there.I could go on and on but don't have enough room.Who ever stays in this hotel bring cleaning stuff with you and expect no sleep.Appauling place.
Good vfm Good location
Hotel is tired and in need of renovation
Great location for the railway station and the football stadium. clean and tidy , no frills. Perfect away day trip.
We loved the shape of the hotel, our outside room was especially nice. The food was excellent , and Avita the resturant manager was friendly and helpfull, many thanks.
There was nothing we really did not like , except perhaps a bit of re decorating here and there. Overal excellent .
Prompt service and very friendly staff. Left my keys behind and had no problems recovering them!
Rooms can be a little too warm
All was good
Location and some of the front desk staff were good.
The hotel is dirty and smells of stale cigarette everywhere. Some of the staff are extremely rude especially one that asked me why I took off a ring from my finger after I asked him if it had been taken to reception. Stayed for over a week and the beddings wee not changed. Walls are so thin you can hear everything going on in the next room. It's cheap but would never recommend or stay there again.
Polite staff, clean and comfortable room, good location.
Car park right there with silly cheap price to park. Excellent location to Old Christchurch rd with an amazing variety of shops bars and restaurants, lovely helpful staff and great bar prices with special offers, would most definatley book again
There was nothing i disliked about my stay
The staff couldn't actually e more nicer! Very very welcoming. Excellent value for money
The lady in reception asked if we would like a smoking room and me and my friend said we don't mind. I Was retching when I walked in the room. It stunk of cannabis and like it hadn't been cleaned in a couple of days. The chairs were rotten and the window didn't even open very well. There was only one plug in the room that was available. The toilette stunk of sewer and the shower was filthy. Should have paid a little extra for the premier inn. Would have done my lungs a lot of favours. Will never return and this place needs a massive refurbishment!! Absolutely horrendous!!!
Everything the place needs a complete refurbishment the room was not superior as booked there was half eaten food in the wardrobe we were then moved to room next door which to be honest the only thing clean was the bed linen. Wallpaper hanging of windows filthy big water stain in ceiling bathroom shabby and moldey furniture old and shabby and hallways smelt of damp.
Location was excellent for a night out.
The bathroom was a bit dated.
Good value, warm and very comfortable bed
clean warm room, location.
bar closed to early
the reception staff were great and very helpful. Even tried to find me a better room which I appreciated.
bed was like sleeping on a piece of wood. Cleaners didn't do anything. Eventually I took a towel and cleaned the room myself. I did tell the rude cleaner on11th December (room 448) to give me the vacuum cleaner.
The staff did their best to remedy the problems Good customer service!
Food was not up to scratch The dining room was cold. No heating in bedroom
Very friendly hotel
Having to pay for the hotels car parking. Tea & coffee in flasks, cold plates. The room decor (506) scruffy, wall light shade had bits missing, cracked tea cups, insufficient coat hangers. Shabby chairs in rooms full of stains. Bath/shower & toilet were in poor condition.
Price Friendly Taxi rank outside Reception Staff Friendly & Helpful Car Parking
5th floor rooms dated Breakfast edible but not delicious Tea / coffee @ Breakfast Cold Shower pressure weak Grunts from restaurant staff Had to prompt for breakfast buffet to be restocked
