surly staff, small bedroom, bedding and bed base in tatters, breakfast in room consisted of soggy toast and vile tea - will never stay here again or recommend it everything |

my daughter and i were in bournemouth to have a look at the university on their openday so the hotel was fine for that, but if i was staying for longer the hotel needs some TLC. |

I stayed at the Roundhouse for 2 nights and I would class it as a reasonable hotel convenient for shopping etc in Bournemouth. We were there for B&B, the breakfast was fair although if you wanted coffee, it was better to make it yourself. The room was comfortable with all of our basic needs although it was obvious that the hotel was a fairly old one. |

The location was fab & being treated to a large room with ensuite bathroom & a huge variety breakfast for £29 was a great deal! The only downer was the bathroom - a little dated & slightly unclean-looking due to staining which detracted from the otherwise great room a tad. |

Plenty of room to move and location wasn't too bad. TV was good and plenty of hot water. would stay here again if went back to Bournemouth. Staff weren't terribly friendly and rooms are a little outdated, walls are thin but we had no trouble sleeping. |

The undercover parking is a good feature of this hotel but did seem limited in the evening with people having to park on the ramp. The room was covered in a thick layer of dust and the windows were very dirty on the outside. The quality of the breakfast food was also very poor. |

The location is very handy for the shops and the bic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel needs a re-fit urgently both inside and out. It is such a shame because it could be such a lovely hotel and could command a premium price if it wasn't so shabby looking. |

We were very pleasantly surprised. Our room was large and comfortable. The public rooms would look better with a di9fferent carpet In the rooms small things like the continually running (for years?)wasteful wash basin hot tap |

Excellent buffet breakfast Having just come from Madeira, the first impressions of this hotel are that it is very 'tired', in a time-warp, and for travellers who simply turn up on spec it is ridiculously expensive. |

The hotel is well situated between the station and beach and close to many restaurants. Also it is a location for Taxis One morning there was a coach party to serve at breakfast and the service broke down under the demand .Badly managed at that level. It also looked a little "tired".Could do with a spruce up. |
