Shot distance to all amenties. walk distance to dowtown. Spacious room. good price Room service and cleaning. Reception staff need some training on customer satisfaction. It does not cost a penny to smile and show interest. |

The room was comfortable in an ideal location for my trip and the staff were really friendly The bedding was dirty and the room had a smokey smell about it which would put me off as a non smoker coming back again |

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff, on the whole, were friendly and helpful. The hotel has no parking facilities - nearest car park is about 5 minutes away and is only cheap from 18.00 to 08.00 (0.50p). An excellent full english breakfast is served daily but has to be eaten off small plates as normal size plates are only available for lunch/dinner. |

It is well situated and the breakfast was very good. It also useful to have access to wifi (although its range didn't extend to the 6th floor) The rooms were not particularly clean and the furnishings looked tired. However, since I did not pay much money for the room, you get what you pay for (would be happy to have paid another £5 for a cleaner room) |

Near the city centre. Fairly easy to find. Decor and bathroom were all in need of some refurbishment. It was a nice hotel but getting a bit worn out. TV needs to be upgraded to digital. Very 1970's style. However,I would be happy to stay there again if I need to go to Coventry. |

Pleasant staff, central location, bar food good value. One of the beds in the twin room had already been slept in! there was no shower curtain. The general value for money was good spoilt only by a lack of attention to detail.Hotel rather jaded. |

The hotel was clean and the accommodation was comfortable, the room was quiet and not too hot. The staff customer services were not good. in the dinning room the staff were reluctant to clear the table we didn't get the tea/coffee that was included in the price because of this lack of interest. At breakfast we had to find a member of staff after waiting for 5 minutes ~ we were on a very tight schedule. When trying to checkout I wasn't able to get a bill for the 4 rooms I had booked, they had to be produced per room, this meant that my visa details were given to my 3 collegues and caused me great difficulties when claiming back from workplace. |

The food wasn't bad, and the hotel was not as dirty as previous reviewers made it out to be. That's about it. Some of the staff (not all) were down right rude and misleading. My business in Coventry wrapped up a day early, so at about 11.30 A.M. I asked the girl on the desk (not the least bit friendly from the start...somebody should teach this kid to smile) if it were possible to check out a day early from my original arrangement, and if my account could be refunded for the last night that I wouldn't need the room. At this time she said, 'Sure, you can check out whenever you like'. When I went to check out, I asked about the refund for the one unused night and she told me the hotel has a no refund policy. I reminded her what she said earlier; she got cute and said: 'I merely said you may check out whenever you like'. No refund. Rip-off! |

The hotel was located in the City Centre within walking distance of pubs/restaurants and shops. Ideal for those purposes. Room was not very clean, on arrival we found lots of hair on the floor, it looked like it had not been vacuumed. Had to pay £10+ for parking as no parking facilities, so even though we had a good price on the room this was bumped up with having to pay £10 a day for parking. |

smell of food was great but had already organised to go for a meal elsewhere. stayed in room 339 the room was comfortable and clean but the acess water from the bathroom flows to the floor in the room because the first smell i got when entering the room was damp once you walked into the room it wasnt there and just give the curtains and windows a clean |

The hotel was run down, unclean and poorly managed. Our room had a stained carpet, ripped wallpaper, and a mouldy bathroom ceiling, dust was thick on lamps etc. The breakfast was appalling for £10.95 per head and customer service was non-existent although the manager did refund our meal cost. They cater for coach parties and very little else. The bar was cheap and subsequently full of the local drunks. I will not be going back! |

The breakfast was good value for money and the site location of the hotel suit us well as we were travelling between London/Coventry/University of Warwick (1) Windows could not be locked and that posed great concern to us as we were staying only on the 3rd floor (Room 335); (2) We did not find the counter staff friendly when we made enquiries - it could not be attributed to language problem because we are English-educated and speak good English (3) there was no signal reception on numerous TV channels although I recall that your website indicated there there would be satellite channels |
