Score from 437 reviews Very good
Thr hotel is reasonably priced and in very convenient location.
I did not like the breakfast, the choice of dishes was not great and in some instances some dishes were unavailable.
Pu smear on bath side
No Wifi in the Hotel rooms and we have to come down to the reception area for Wifi, which i dont find it well
good thee staff
Room smells of stale cigarettes.
I had an appointment just behind the hotel was very convienient for me.
Cleanliness was very poor, hair dryer didn't work,Couldn't get the Wifi duvet was not warm enough,
Booked complete with breakfast but confirmation stated without. Tried to sort before arrival & on arrival but to no avail. Rooms were cold even though heating turned up Noise & rudely awakened at 5.30am by banging doors & shouting. Upon Advising the reception staff they found it amusing. Won't be staying here again
Smoking rooms, friendly down to earth staff with no stuck up attitude, Easy check in and out. Always feel very welcome plus its next to an awesome chip shop.
No WiFi in rooms, bath needed a scrub. No sweeteners available for tea coffee in rooms and I'm a diabetic. Could do with a few more towels.
The room was very clean and facilities were nice. The staff were generally friendly.
I wasn't warmly greeted on arrival and departure. The TV only had a few channels (at least have freeview.)
The location is ideal. The chef was good. I enjoyed the breakfast.
The heating was turned of all day and wifi not available in rooms.
The location is definitely good and the price is very cheap.
The lack of wi-fi, the staff was generally unresponsive and didn't explain much, the room was old and the hot and cold water were not mixed in the sink( though to be fair that's a problem with lots of places in the UK)
Pleasant room, interesting view, everything in good working order.
Beds were comfortable, room size was big, as was the bathroom, location was excellent.
The heater in our room was broken, we had to make repeated calls and requests to get it fixed. No one fixed it the first day and we spent the night freezing, the next night they gave us extra blankets. The second time I came back to the hotel after staying in London for two nights, the heater in my room (a different one this time) was not working again. This time the hotel gave us a new room, but because it was on the 6th floor, we didn't get any wifi.
Location of the hotel
Extremely bad reception.they give twin rooms although the booking was double bed room.when asking about this problem they said we don't have double bed room.
Staff was really friendly and helpful! Room is not great, but fine for our purpose: sleep.
The interior looks quite old and new furniture would be nice.
The room looked as if it hadn't been updated in decades TV outdated wallpaper hanging from wall booked double room and got to singles beds put together and was told it was an executive room !!awful
I arrived to the hotel very early in the morning wanting to leave my luggage in reception. Instead I was giving the option to check in at no extra cost. That was handy plus I was given a pretty large room despite that I was a solo traveller. I didn't want to spend much money and be close to the bus station, so this worked for me just fine.
The hotel is in general decay, and the atmosphere was not-nice in general. I wouldn't have stayed in this hotel (or even visit Coventry) unless I had to!
Good location and nice and warm rooms
Hard beds and the serving dishes were awkward, cracked and need updating, not the most appetising breakfast facilities.
For a place to crash at a cheap rate you might stay here...
Room was stained, decor was dated, huge hole in the bathroom by the shower, dripping sound during the night, outdated tv with poor aeriel....need i go on??? I wanted to sleep in my coat and shoes; it just didnt feel clean
rude staff bad bedrooms Not clean No internet Cleanness are very bad they don't clean rooms Bad bad bad bad
2nd stay , as it is not the worst place to stay. location is fine for the centre and bus station. comfy , warm room. staff on desk fine.
cleaner entering our room before 8am , without knocking or anything. said she would come back later, but never did, no clean towels, tea , soaps not replaced, had to go back down from 7th floor to reception, both door cards not working after 1st night [back down again]and as with last stay 8 months back , only one working lift.
Delay in checking in as staff not available
We stayed on Christmas night to get away from it all, the staff were great and gave us an excellent room with a balcony and an amazing view
Cost Central location Near to take aways
Decor.although rooms are being refurbished eg a new carpet, curtain or table, the standard is really quite poor Lack of internet in room. This is essential and city hotels offer this Small tv
We had no towels in the room...i asked more than 3 times to supply them...
