The location is great, is in the middle of city centre.

The hotel is dated need renovation,stinky toilet very old shower what you pay what you get.

Stayed for 4 nights. Good location for business and shopping. Quiet room and corridor.

In urgent need of a update in all areas of the hotel. No parking facilities and a poor impression in the reception area with leather chairs with holes and a dirty carpet, although staff were friendly and helpful. The cold tap in the room wasn't working properly and made a noise. Also the carpet was not hoovered in the 4 nights we were there. Overall standard very poor.

It was horrific. Dirty room, shower that didn't work, fittings not changed since the 1970s - without doubt the worse hotel I have ever, EVER stayed at!!!!!

I like the location of the hotel because it's in the city centre and very nearly to the University.

I don't like the rates changing every day and the stuff is not much friendly.

The location in Central Coventry was good, the facilities were good,and the staff were friendly.Good value for the price.

The whole hotel is a bit jaded - could do with refreshing.

The hotel was chosen for its location, it was convenient to the Cathedral and the Transport Museum. Staff were very helpful in making sure we found reasonable parking facilities.

The difficulty of reaching the hotel due to road renovations made it hard. The kitchen staff left a lot to be desired they weren't very helpful, and their cleaning methods very poor. The juices at breakfast were all fermenting, which means they were not only off but had been well out of date. None of the staff seemed to notice or care. Our experience in the dining room both for an evening meal and breakfast was very Fawlty Towerish. We were a group of seven and all of us were very disappointed with this hotel.

Room 335 had a lovely marble bathroom with a good shower. The view of the cathedral was excellent.

Tinned mushrooms and cheap instant coffee at breakfast. &Quot;Real" coffee is surely not a luxury? Our room had no bedside or reading lights. The bath's jacuzzi nozzles had not worked for ages.

very poor sevice in dining room tea and coffee area disorganised and dirty. sweet section still had remains of food from the previous evening. Curtain in dining room hanging off rail during our two night stay

brown water coming from the bath taps. Very badly cracked sink unit. Every time you flush the toilet water splashes out on to the floor. Very dirty between the outside and inside windows. Decor of the room is very dated and badly needs attention.

Value for money - at £29 . The room was mid sized & clean ( if a little dated.) Also very quiet despite city centre location.

Not a lot. Huge room. Right next to Cathedral, but in itself an eyesore by being there.

OAP bus trips and bingo. Dated and faded, but everything worked fine. Old CRT TV ! Finding it off the ring road and parking, though only 50p overnight.

Just what I expected for £29 no fuss just a room and a bed!

Staff on reception were a bit miserable, even though its a cheap hotel you don't expect that. Plus they charge £2.50 to pay by debit or credit card which I wasn't made aware of when I booked this.

My room was upgraded for free.

Good service and cost. The room was big and clean.

The pillows were old and not really comfortable. Bed could of been more comfortable.
