Hotel parking was appalling. There were cars everywhere. They allow guests to leave cars while they go on holiday for a fee. However this impacts on new guests trying to park. Parking is at a premium and you need to arrive before 3.30 to find a space anywhere near your room. |

The leisure facilities Yes, there was a picture of a naked women on the wall of our room. the room had a double bed and a single bed in which indicates it was a family room. I thought the picture was very inappropriate. I complained to the front desk about this and they were very indifferent about my complaint. |

Breakfast was too expensive for what was on offer. Other hotels have more choice for considerably less money. The room rate found on the internet was excellent value but in future I will pass on breakfast (Tesco!) |

Large and comfortable room, rustic hotel with a country look, close to Gatwick, but located in a nice green area. Parking available on site. |

The staff where friendly, it location was perfectly suited for our needs, and the fact they allow pets was one of the major reasons we chose to stay there. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, The heating did not seem to work at all, When we first arrived there was no hot water. The range of tv channels was terrible. |

I enjoyed my stay thoroughly, although it was short I had a very good few hours sleep, the room was exceptionally clean and roomy. I appreciated the tea and coffee facitlities and the bed was very comfortable...the shower was fabulous. The wake up call and the airport transfer bus in the morning were on time, of which I appreciated immensely under the circumstances of having little sleep. I would stay here again without hesitation. My only negative point was that the initial courtesy bus at the airport didn't correlate with my flight. Unfortunately my flight into Gatwick was an hour late, but then having to wait another 50 minutes at the airport (a staff member at the hotel told me over the phone that the bus would be 10 minutes to the south terminal but it was 50 minutes) which meant that I didn't arrive to the hotel until midnight. My flight the following morning was at 5.55am so it left little time to sleep. Essentially I wasn't able to explore the hotel facilities or enjoy the restaurant so I can't comment on those. |

Good room in the old part of the hotel. Good gym & swimming complex The new lodge rooms are small and lit only with 2 stark neon lights. Not relaxing at all - lamps are needed. They smell strongly of chemical carpet cleaner & there was no heating at the time. Very unpleasant. Poor value. Stay in the old part of the hotel, not the lodge - a travell lodge is better than this. |
