Its comfortable and easy to commute to Gatwick airport from
The cost, ease of getting to and from airport. You get what you pay for.
There was a musty smell in the corridors. The reception staff gave us the wrong information about what terminal we were supposed to fly from.
Pet friendly location
Telephone did not work in room. poor TV. Double bed on a king size base. Bathroom out dated and cracked ceiling.
The food was unedible
We booked the Lodge and then got told that through to maintenance issues there will be no Lodge available but I am pretty sure that this is how they get people to book their facilities. Would not recommend it to anyone. But for the purpose we needed it it was ok, arrived in the dark and left in the dark which I was quite thankful for.
Quick check in Good bed Fairly clean room other than the damp Tea and coffee in room Hair dryer, trouser press in room
Lots of damp in the bedroom around the window and bathroom. In fact ceiling was covered in black spots You have to pay for swimming as not included in room rate
The valve of the room and eight days parking was excellent. shuttle bus to airport.Location was not to bad 20minutes to airport by bus.young man at reception was very helpful shame I didn't get his name to praise him.
Mattess didn't fit bed to small.not enough tea/coffee etc etc in room.shower just dripped out not a powershower.food was stale and dry not nice.
Food in the restaurant was good and very good value
First Room was noisy and the second room smelled of smoke.
It was cheap
Uncormfortable bed, Jammed cupboard door, Beaten up decor, No WIFI paper thin walls staff entered room at 06.00hrs...... it was awful
damp smell in room
Hotel in serious need of a refurb! & parking could be better
Girl on front desk was helpful, cheerful and polite
the 'stairwell' to the rooms were filthy, there were empty glasses left lying around and general untidiness. It was really off -putting.
Nothing Rude staff dirty hotel
Very good value for parking for airport
Bedrooms need up dating
The environment is not bad
Things are a bit old fashion
Low cost, only paid £29 for double room (Upgraded from lodge room to main building at no extra cost) Bed was comfortable Plenty of car parking space Very close to m23
Wifi only in public areas, Bar full of noisy children and foul mouthed contractors Very noisy room, walking noises from Room above all evening and from 05.00 in morning. Room had adjoining door, very thin and could hear every word next door. Woken up at 07.00 with adjoining room trying to force open door (room 1109)
Standard of room and no heating.
Location very good for early start next morning. The free parking was the the main point in choosing this hotel. Rather dated but good value for money.
Pillows need replacing as very flat. Bathrooms need an overhaul, but this perhaps would put the prices up.
Price The retro CRT TV in the room
The pot holes in the car park The virtually full car park The wolf whistles and cat calls from the guests on room verandas No mobile phone signal No WiFi in the rooms
Liked the location and look of hotel from outside and nice smell of roast dinner inside it seems quite nice when you walk in
The smell of damp was really bad walking down the corridor I felt like I was walking to my death I actually was a bit concerned how it would be affecting me. The room was dated and cold, seemed the hearing turned on when it felt like it, had an old tv which had a fuzzy picture and was too low to watch from the bed the chairs looked dusty but they were just old and worn out, couldn't open oatio doors to air room was all a bit grim
Reception staff were rude and unhelpful. Also got a parking fine even though i typed my car registration as requested on check in. Shame as bar staff were lovely. Room service pointless as phones did not work in my room or colleague's room.
Clean & Cheap
car parked for a week
Breakfast was amazing. Plenty to choose from in a relaxed area. Plenty of parking.
The room was very small. Television didn't work. Heating in room didn't work and there were no blankets in the cupboard.
