The room smelt so bad, there was stains on the walls and floor, and the bathroom was moldy. The only thing that didn't make me sleep in the car was that te bed linin smelt clean.
Hi I'm escort girls always have problem with reception no good
Quieter than previous rooms
Décor poor, wallpaper torn in places and hanging off. Bedskirt ripped Amenities - tea - coffee limited and kettle in an awkward & dangerous position. Room not exec standard.
Furniture / carpets / corridors smelled of smoke and were dirty. No extractor fan working in the bathroom and evidence of mould all over, including on shower curtain, around the walls, woodwork Etc. Overall room standard poor with smelly / poorly fitted nets / curtains, old-style furniture and not even a flat screen TV.
quite happy with the facilities at the hotel, staff helpful and pleasant
Didn't Like the fact I arrived home a week later to find two parking fine notices for parking in the Hotel car park for the 2 nights I stayed there. The hotel needs to device a system for Hotel Guest so they don't receive these.
Location was good
Unfortunately the hotel was shabby with broken doors to the veranda, peeling wallpaper, shabby furniture & stained carpets. Staff were nice enough but hotel could benefit from a total refurbishment.
Good accessible location
Poor quality staff, disorganised. Wouldn't eat there. Massive car park but very difficult to find space.
The lodge is very comfortable.
The room was clean
Carpark over-run due to a wedding. With seemingly drunken female guests ringing out doorbell at 4:30am. Trying to sleep at 7am not aided by footsteps from above (ground floor room) and doors slamming in hallway. Cannot recommend.
Hard to park, food OK. Swimming pool spa, good. Noisy due to proximity to motorway.
Cheap and cheerful.
Rooms need a refurb.
Price about right
Room smelt odd. Parking difficulty
the look of the place outside
Everything inside. This hotel could be lovely though it is very tired and grubby. The carpets are all frayed and broken, wallpaper coming off the walls, smells musty and damp, need i go on!
Location good, very nice stay
Very worn decor, very basic pillow, and an odd smell in the bathroom.
Staff and food
Filthy rooms, old hairs in bathtub, on blankets, and freezing
Food is great
I have stayed here on at least 4 occasions, I booked a few days before we were due to fly, when we arrived at the hotel I was then told, that the coaches they would pick us up on our return, no longer run and I would have to pay for a taxi, no one had the courtesy to tell me I have to get a taxi back when I arrive, not very happy and will not be staying there again
The nights stay and 15 days parking is a bargain price compared to others
We've stayed here a few times now and ignored the state of the place because it's just one night before we go on holiday and parking is good , but the general state of the hotel and the cleanliness has deteriorated not just in the rooms but the communal area too . It's a shame because it's a great out of airport location for staying in but we feel the whole place needs a complete refurbishment .
I did'nt like all the old hair around the toilet and the constant smell of poo in the bathroom(toothpaste that had been spat out and gone up the wall but had not been washed away),also the filthy valence sheet that obviously had not been changed for a long time and the net curtains were black at the bottom with mould staines from the window that were also filthy,i dare not look any further for fear of what else i may find,so if your thinking of staying at this hotel dont stay in the LODGE!maybe the main hotel is a bit cleaner who knows?will anything be done about this we will wait and see! !
Nothing to recommend
Sunday overnight stop. Arrived 7pm after 4hrs travelling with 6am Monday check in at Gatwick. No food available and minimal facilities meant a once only visit
Food in the restaurant was very bland. Very surprising given that we have stayed at this hotel at least 5 times which has seen absolutely no changes at all. Very disappointing quality and we are sad to say that we will not be staying at this hotel again. We are prepared to pay more to stay in a quality hotel nearby.
Room and parking facilities.
Food is quite expensive.
The price. Swimming pool looked good The free WiFi in the lounge area. Tea making facilities Somewhere to lay my head
It is very dated the bath had mold. A lot of road noise from the motorway. A cleaner rung my door and went to enter my room at 7:40 until I cried out! The staff were scarce. Was unable to obtain a signal for my O2 phone inside so could not contact my wife who was in East Grinstead hospital. Fortunately she was able to phone my room. The old TV flashed off and on at 30s intervals.
