Everything; from the greeting with useful information of the area, the superior breakfasts created for us personally, the comfortable room with the fantastic view. There were three excelent restaurants within easy walking as a bonus.
As to be expected at the time of year, the fellow guests were mainly elderly (as are we but we don't like to think it!) Nothing to complain about and they were friendly and pleasant.
All in all a great B&B
James & Jackie are the perfect hosts. They offered help on where to eat, places to see, and anything else we cared to ask for, nothing is too much trouble for them. We even had a wave goodbye from them from the front door when we left for home. A perfect place to stay if you want service with a smile.
We liked everything, once again!
Staff were friendly, informative as places to visit, and Tremendous Breakfast
Nothing to dislike.
Really nice owners and staff. A comfortable room with a great view. Excellent breakfasts.
Didn't dislike anything. The bathroom could do with more towel hooks or rails.
We were lucky and got a cancelled room so we were in a large bay fronted room overlooking the sea. It was clean and modern. A lot of thought had gone into extra touches ie binoculars placed on the windowsill. Small bottles of toiletries in the ultra modern shower room.
I personally didn't enjoy my cooked breakfast because it wasn't cooked long enough. The egg was runny and the bacon fat wasn't crisp. I didn't mention it to the waitress/cook because she seemed to be not too happy. We were only staying for the one night for bed and breakfast so it didn't seem worth mentioning it.
Location , staff lovely, lovely breakfast
Nothing to dislike
The owner James who greeted us was very welcoming,he recommended several places where we could eat,the room was extremely clean and comfortable, the waitress Sarah who served breakfast ( which was excellent, nothing was missing from the plate!!,)and if you did think of anything else you wanted she fetched and was a pleasant and friendly girl.I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would come again.
I would not say I didn't like it because it was not the hotels fault but the view from the back bedrooms overlooked neighbouring properties needed tidying up.
Bed bit old and short ( I'm 6:2in ) No bar No reseption desk
The sea view was fantastic. All the staff were very attentive and helpful
Breakfast wasn't anything special however it was adequate.
We have never felt so welcome in a guest house in our lives and cleanliness was first class and waitress service was excellent and the sea view was to die for. Me and my wife will definitely be visiting again...breakfast 10 out of 10...Thanks for a lovely weekend xxx
A very friendly welcome nothing was a problem at any time had a wonderful stay and would certainly consider again
It would have been lovely to off had hair conditioner in with the toiletries provided in bathroom.
Very close to Venue Cymru. Free street parking. Very helpful staff.
Couldn't have been more friendly, welcoming, clean or peaceful. Most helpful for local knowledge and advice. Had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.
Very nice place very clean lovely helpful staff.
One word describes our stay at the "Britannia Guest House" and that was "Wonderful!" The owners/staff were friendly, knowledgeable especially with regard to the best places to eat as my husband is gluten intolerant. We booked the King Room with Sea View for two night and was not disappointed. The room was large, spotlessly clean and a pleasure to sleep in. I am not one to normally eat breakfast, but having seen the food being served on the first morning I decided to break a habit and have one. The breakfast was simply lovely. The location couldn't be faulted and I definitely would recommend this place to anyone!
Host was very helpful providing a map and recommending places to eat out. Place was comfortable and breakfast all you could need felt totally at home
good welcome nice sized room sea view from bay windows comfy bed room clean and not cluttered but had everything required for stay.
Distance to pier but shops and town not too far.
Spotless room, tastefully decorated and comfortable bed. Beautiful sea view. Perfectly cooked and presented breakfast- very friendly hosts.
Can't think of anything !!
The friendliness of the staff, Room was extremely clean, not even a speck of dust, I mentioned that a small table would be the final touch to the twin room and within the hour James had turned up with the perfect size table, Such is his commitment to the House. Even took the time to discuss the sort of table that should be there and should it be permanent just to get the thoughts of a guest. Very enjoyable four day holiday 11th to 15th Sept 2014
James gave us a warm welcome and informed us of all the best local places to eat - Pub Albert was brilliant! Sarah, the staff, was friendly and helpful, free parking, very good breakfast, perfect sea view
the mattress was for us too soft!
