Score from 1078 reviews Superb
The bed was comfortable and the view of the Thames and Docklands was a bonus.
The decors needed some tlc, the breakfast service was poor for the cost. The fitness centre was closed when we wanted to use it.
Reasonably convenient location
Probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had obnoxious staff, dreadful manger, scruffy decor and tasteless food .... Felt like a place destined be knocked down
Great service, upgraded room, good range of choices for food onsite, at reasonable prices.
clean room location wifi
I found two moles in the room. Maybe the price could be a little bit lower.
The hotel and our room was very spacious and luxurious.
I was disappointed that the heating was not working in my room
excellent customer service friendly staff
Clean. Bathroom pleasant
The rooms are mock Victorian with the tv in the wrong place and an oversized very low chandelier. Only supply two teabags and two coffee sachets and no biscuits. Bed uncomfortable
Good location near business city. Fast Wifi
Bed was very small :( Old furniture in style of 1980th's :(
The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The comfort and facilities in the room were superb as was the view across Canary Wharf to the O2 arena (I realise that may not be everyone's cup of tea). I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
My room was very cold as the heater did not seem to work in my room.
The bed was very comfy
The overall condition of the hotel needs slight renovation in some areas. For example wallpaper and parts of furniture look tired and in need of sprucing up. The car park could also do with a make over and better surveillance. Apart from that I was overall very happy with my stay.
The food I thorght was good valu for the money
Hotel handy for 02
Hotel in need of updating very tarnished in lots of areas. The bedding (duvet) very thin.
Location near O2
Location for Canary Wharf
Not a glossy hotel...
Vintage deco, amazing breakfast and a lovely view
Noises all night (and works since 6 a.m.), old stuff and facililities
Yes the hotel is tired however it's a really good choice if you are looking for a cheap accommodation in Canary Wharf. The room was quite spacious and with all the essential amenities.
The ceiling of the swimming pool must be cleaned from the mold. if it's your first time in London, it'll be better an hotel in king's cross area where to room are smaller but it's easier to move around the city.
A clean comfortable hotel, decor a little dated but on the whole an enjoyable stay.
Breakfast was a bit of a cattle market, no information given and had to find a member of staff to get tea, coffee automatically put on table. Petty I know but the baked beans were very watery, obviously a very cheap option.
Room was very nice and big. The lotion was als very good.
Breakfast, hotfood all overcooked, Juices were like water. Lot of staff spoke with such a strong non english accent, that it was difficult to understand them. Bit weird for being in England
Convenience of hotel excellent for us, Health spa and leisure facilities good.
Felt every bed spring and heard them! Housekeeping kept knocking on door and even entered when we had a Do Not Disturb sign on door! Breakfast was disorganised, we had to find our own table which was difficult as many had not been kept cleared, it was all done on the cheap and not what you would expect from a 4* hotel!
Good value for where it is
A bit tired needs some money spent on it
not clean, def not 4 stars
Work is being carried out, which I understand but to book out rooms directly above the construction work and have drilling at 7am on a Friday is not acceptable, also standard of furniture, chair provided was falling apart from the joints. Shower did not have enough pressure with hot water
Location and value for money
Breakfast was a bit like Butlins
View,size,comfort clean,,value,everything excellent,
