Yes - the room was extremely shabby and in need of complete redecoration - there were cigarette burn marks on top of the TV, the bathroom had mould around it, the shower head leaked, the bath had a hole in the side, one of the taps was broken and generally the whole room looked dowdy! |

We were upgraded to the 11th floor which was a nice room with plenty of space and a good view over docklands. Easy walk to South Quay station or Canary Wharf so good for the O2. This side of the hotel looks over a new development but the main problem is the noise from the DLR even at this level. |

The staff were very helpful and incredibly friendly. I booked here orginally because whilst my daughter was at an interview I thought the hotel advertised a spa. Although you could have a swim there was no treatments available. |

the room we were moved to because of problems with our initial room was far beyond our expectations. In our original room the Air Conditionig did not work, at midnight the temperature was at leat 26.5 dgegrees ( this was the highest measure on the temp display) and therefore unbearable also the matress was as hard as iron. We requested another room which the hotel staff did their upmost to resolve quickly. Unfortunatley the first room we went into was already occupied and my wife was confronted by a naked man! I do not need to tell you the shock and embarrasment my wife experienced. When we were eventually given another room it could not be faulted. |

the spacious well appointed rooms, the wonderful views across the city, the relaxed atmosphere and quiet nature despite being located in one of the busiest areas in london. It's proximity to all types of public transport make it ideal for leisure stops as well as business. overcrowding of lifts every morning, although this is common in multi-story hotels throughout the industry. |

The duty manager was very helpful and sorted things out for us. The view from the first room was really nice. Lounge, dining room, bar good. Didnt have time to visit anything else. Car parking is not mentioned when first booking. We were asked to upgrade - receptionist gave us wrong room, making us late for outside event. Room upgraded and was not worth the extra money. We were given wrong travel information by same receptionist. View from upgraded room - very poor (brick wall). If we had stayed in first room, we would have had no complaints. |

The staff were nice and helpful The bed! It was supposed to be double bed, but it had 2 matresses with no top matress, it was uncomfortable to sleep on it with a hole in the middle!!! A single bed would have been more comfortable. |

Proximity to city and excell Ticket booth in hotel for car park was not working and we were left waiting around until someone could assist us, the management were quite rude in just passing it to someone else instead of helping themselves. |

Our room was very tired and eighties, although cleanish. This was not what we were expecting from the information on the internet, and I would not say the hotel was 4 star. There is no signage for room direction on the floor we occupied. My husband could not order drinks at the bar on the room booking, as I had the card for the room and was on my way to join him. He then had to pay cash, as a debit card apparently was not acceptable. Not what we expected, we will be booking another hotel for our New Year break in London and in the spring unless I had some assurance that the room would be better. |

Very large room, nice upgrade too! Welcoming and helpful staff. Room service sandwiches were disappointing, no mini bar, tint television! Bathroom taps were corroded badly, shame, because everything else was great. |
