The upgrade to the suite was amazing, view from the floor to ceiling windows also amazing. Over looking the DLR trains which were of course a little loud, but didn't spoil our stay at all.
- I asked a late check out and they were ok with that without any surcharge.
- I got a smelly smoking-room and they couldn't get me a non-smoking room - Breakfast was not as expected. Burned bacon, dry scrambled eggs, not much variety. - I wasn't asked if I wanted to have coffee or tea, so I asked a waiter. He asked me to collect it myself from a counter (this was not self-service!)
I love the location. I like the size and layout of the rooms compared to other London hotels. I like the health spa and fitness center. The shower was great for water pressure but random for hot water. Overall this is my favorite hotel for the price.
It could do with a bit of refurbishment which seems to be happening. I would prefer a double/queen bed as opposed to two singles pushed together. That was just weird. The coffee at breakfast is dreadful. The breakfast is not good value.
Really pleased with my room and the breakfast
It was a long walk from the station
Very "tired" bathroom. Wallpaper peeling off the walls Clogged toilet which did not flush Staff alerted, but nonchalant and not exactly responsive
space and facilities
looks shabby needs a makeover
for the price you pay at this hotel the standards were shocking. the wallpaper was peeling off, there were wires hanging out behind the sink, the sofas in the bar area were falling to pieces, the mattress was as hard as a rock, the list is endless!! will not be staying here again!!
Location Upgraded room
Nothing wrong with stay/hotel
The location is good and value for money!
The pillows were not very comfortable at all and the DLR was noisy every time a train came into the station !
If your Booking a short stay for the O2 this is by far the best value for money. Train, tube, bus dlr all very local. Restaurants open till late and food was great aswell.
Early check in if room was available Wifi throughout the hotel Luggage concierge service
perfect for a romantic city break, fantastic, spacious room, whirlpool bath, amazing view from the balcony.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the twin room was large and the beds were comfy. Very close to O2 and other places of interest, very good value for money
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Had the feeling we were staying in a posh hotel without having to pay posh prices. The food was also very nice and our bedroom was fabulous. We would deffinately recommend this hotel.
The swimming pool was freezing and it looked like the walls needed painting that really lets the pool area down but the staff were very helpful and it was clean and tidy.
old drab dark decor. Single room was very small and narrow with tiny bed. Carpet worn and lightning very dark
Staff were excellent
Pool was in desperate need of attention
This is was the first time i have stopped at this hotel. The room was very clean and nice, staff were very helpful and pleasant.Shall not hesitate to come back in the future.
Location is good for Canary Wharf and access into Central London. Rooms are clean.
Rooms are looking a bit tired. Beds a little hard and duvets a bit small. Unable to use bath as plug didn't work.
surroundings close to 02 arena close to Tube & DLR close to shopping & restaurants large room pristine clean bedding
The smell of old foist The worn out dated furnishings Light fittings with bulbs not working Dreadful dated pictures in the rooms Staff at breakfast very slow going
For the location this hotel is very affordable.
Hotel could do with a facelift.
Spacious room and good view over the dock
no WiFi in numbers Expected more from gym and pool
Good value and proved to be a good location although out of my usual comfort zone of central London. Nice views of the docklands and their wildlife.
The orange juice at breakfast! It tasted as if it was either sweetened (why?) or a concentrate that hadn't been diluted properly. I love my orange juice at breakfast but this was awful.
I had a really good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. The hotel was in a good position with friendly staff.
Some staff excellent, others poor
Hotel very tired as far as our room was concerned especially as it was supposed to be executive. Dining room was tight with tables very close together.
