excessive beaucracy on check in.
Hotel rooms are old looking but loverly and clean and comfy food was good too. If u book this hotel just don't use the spa facility's inhabitable!
Spa was disgusting looked like a horror movie scene dirty loungers and mouldy ceilings the hot tub was ok did not want to venture to the steam rooms at all very spooky!
Price and location
Urgently needs a soft refurb.
Convenient location for Canary Wharf. Clean rooms and linen.
Breakfast was poor value. Bathroom needed redecorating. All the windows needed cleaning.
Everything was perfect
I like everything. Nothing not to like
Bad staff member at check in and check out
Drinks to price
Not hot water in my room
Everything was nice. The staff, location and price were ideal for what we were planning to do while in London.
Having to pay an additional cost for the leisure facilitiesoon. They should be free to people styling in the hotel.
The staff were exceptionally rude.
Good wifi, good TV, lovely bathroom !
The bed... Need new mattresses and I'd prefer a double frame, not two singles linked together.
View, size of room, room facilities, Wi-Fi.
Staff in breakfast room, car damaged due to poor parking conditions.
WiFi access in the executive rooms Free upgrade on our room. Friendly staff. When we asked for more tea bags, they were quick to provide them. We paid £134 for 2 nights, which was good value considering the location, however this was a deal, not full price. Big spacious executive room.
The beds were not particularly comfortable. Fairly standard, and you expect more from 4*. The shower was either luke warm or cold. The cleaning staff tried to enter the room in the morning without knocking first. I don't know if the guests in the next room were just very loud, or the fact the walls are thin. However we did hear them plug something into a socket, so our guess is, they are thin. We put our bags in storage, and when we came to collect them, one of them was very wet on the bottom.
Wifi was working only part-time No hot water (just lukewarm water)
The location was good. Very clean
No hot water in the morning around 10am. Not enough tea coffee and milk. Also the hotel was very cold
The bath was lovely in the room.
Staff very welcoming and helpful. Everywhere clean. location easy to get to.
Paid extra for breakfast. Nice selection of breakfast food on offer. However found a black curly hair in my scrambled egg. Juice seemed watery and not much taste and waiting staff a bit too keen hovering to take plate away the second i put my cutlery down but all in all good value for money.
Initially the room was cold, called reception and within 2 minutes they brought us a portable heater. View over the Thames was AMAZING. Pretty big room too! Spa is very nice.
Tv is located in a silly place, so far away from the bed/chairs, should move tv to a different wall. Carpet is very old, very worn and discolored but clean. Furniture very dated. Nice hotel and staff but needs modernising.
Everything the hotel had to offer!
A free upgrade gave us a spacious room-a real bargain considering we paid a 'sale' price. Public areas are very impressively presented and the reception staff pleasant. Breakfast offered a good selection. It's handy for the DLR too.
Decor in the room was a bit 'tired' but didn't spoil our stay. Whilst there was a good breakfast selection, some of the cooked items could have been presented more pleasantly-slabs of bacon with undercooked fat and fried eggs unevenly cooked were a little unappealing but it certainly kept us going all morning.
gym and swimming pool was dated but OK for 4 pounds a go.
Staff were very unorganised and badly trained with the hotels computer systems. The management were unable to deal effectively with customer complaints which we observed while checking in and also experienced while checking in first hand. The hotel itself is good value for money, the reception staff are really incompetent.
Comfort of the room and cleanliness
There was Not any hot water for shower after 10 am.
You upgraded my room from a normal one to a sweet from with my girl friend and it makes our date so much more amazing, so I really want to say THANK YOU for that!! I really wish i could have the same deal next time :)
Staff very good Food excellent in the Indian restaurant and large room
