location, price, space - room and general in lounge/reception etc., felt like a "proper hotel" not a cheap alternative........... Food was good too.
felt the spa/poor area was a bit dimly lit and needing refurbishment.
The location. Receptionist
Nice and close to the tube stop and very convenient for going to the O2 Arena.
Air con was blowing air but room never got any colder. Poor nights sleep as a result.
Location Staff Comfort
Just a little thing really. Although room was clean etc it looked so very 'tired' and a bit shabby. Make-over in order i think!!!
Clean room. Quiet.
Bed maybe a little bit too small for me (6'2'' 186cm).
Location , price
Just about everything. I had a speciell request at the reception to print important business documents and were extremely helpfull to assist me i was so gratefull
It was spotless!
The bed. It was a double room and still it was two single mattresses put together.
dirty windows dirty toilets ripped seats etc
The lobby was nice, most of the staff were nice too. The breakfast was ok.
The facilities were a little run down. It felt like staying in a hotel that had seen better days- quite some time ago. If I had been paying full price I would have been very disapointed.
This property would have been stunning in its day. Saying that it is not unpleasant at all. Could do with some heat in the pool but your steam room makes up for it. Good gym equipment. Happy house keeper lady said good morning, excellent breakfast.
No one ever checked if we were ok at any point.
the fact that I have to ask them to charge my card each time instead of my colleagues The fact that I have to chase them constantly for a VAT receipt The fact that they don't respond to emails The price has increased dramatically for an even worse service
Entrance, reception area, staff, location, breakfast .
Beds were very uncomfortable. Very hard, pillows pathetic and lumpy. Otherwise room was OK, clean and bathroom was decent.
This hotel has everything you are looking for in terms of class. A magnificent endurance, the decor is all polished and ouzzes wealth. Yet I only paid £150 for a executive double and was upgrades free of charge to a jacuzzi suite. The room was enormous with a fantastic view and a large bed with plenty of room for "play." ;-) Can't go wrong with this hotel, I will be booking again
Really comfortable bed in a cosy single room.Very good and hearty breakfast. Helpful staff.
The decor is a little dated. The toiletries omitted toothbrush, toothpaste and face flannel
Location and price of stay
Unimpressed by my evening meal though it was good value for money considering the area. Breakfast was better but overpriced.
Not a lot
I expected better for the star rating. Breakfast was a shambles, the set up of the buffet did not allow easy access. My partner is disabled and the staff did not assist her, even when asked. Very poor.
Position close to Canary Warf underground station. No use of duvet: great idea!!
Old and used up furniture and moquette. Poor quality and limited food choice for breakfast.
Quirky. Large. Remarkably quiet for a London hotel
One of the front desk staff was curt and unhelpful. Whole place needs brightening up! Bed linen thin. Very stingy on tea and coffee samples in rooms.
Nice bedroom, great bed, very comfortable. Nice Location
Wish there was a fridge in the room
This is a comfortable, reasonably priced hotel in a good location. Easily reached on foot from several local DLR/tube stations. Room was roomy, clean & comfortable. Hotel has a choice of reasonably priced restaurants or there is a vast choice of eating places close by. Would definitely stay again.
Nothing to moan about. All satisfactory.
Location and the hotel premises
I left a message when booking the hotel to say it was our 25th Anniversary and thought they may have made the effort of either wine or chocolates in our room
Several reasonably priced restaurants and a pub in the building Room spacious, had a bath Views interesting
deserted streets at night next to building plot could hear DLR
Location for O2
Bed was hard, pillows to flat, decor in bedroom poor (ripped wallpaper, pen on walls, rust on outside of bath, bathroom generally very run down and in need of an update). Poor value for money. A premier hotel may not have a spa but bedrooms are 100% better. Overall disappointed.
