Location was brilliant, the facilities within the room were good
There was a strange wet patch on the floor, wallpaper was peeling. Breakfast was absolutely terrible.
Quick and easy check in/out Location Love the beautiful staircase
Tea and coffee making facilities- was a little underwhelmed
location was great beer price
chairs with 3 legs overpriced
Great central location, room clean, reception staff friendly and helpful.
Little bit tatty and needs updating which is a shame,as it's a lovely old building with so much character.
the location and staff were good
the toilets should have more ventilation lifts very slow
Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and departure,
The price. The location. The decor of room. The entrance way with grand stairs and chandelier.
The smell in the room (old smoking room?). The wait for check in. The head board not attached to bed. Was not obvious from the street, walked past twice!
Great Location nice staff.
Poor décor in room. Curtains were falling off the rail.
Staff very good, helpful and polite. Plentiful supply of hot water. Main staircase was a real feature. great location.
Worn carpet on main staircase, feel of faded glory with lack of investment to correct old worn furniture. Metal bath badly chipped. Overall just a tired hotel! Glad we had and 'executive' room upgrade!!
Terrible net connection quality in room.
Location was fantastic, staff where very friendly and helpful, rooms where ok, had better ones in previous stays as this was the 5th year I have used this hotel... So you can tell I really do like it
It was a shame that our room wasn't as good as precious years, top floor, but small and no real windows... More a sky light with a minute flap that opened at the pull of a string... And the shower was somewhat to be desired... But then again, for location and ease of arrival etc I cannot really complain :-)
Good location clean
Very tired interior, needs a face over and sharper signage.
Central location of this Hotel is good, close to public transport and shopping centre. Good friendly staff and facilities, felt like you were entering a 4 star hotel, but once you check in its downhill. Good reception area and facilities within the hotel. Ok value for money, if you are paying the budget price, but would not pay above that rate.
Room need urgent updating, poor quality on carpets, feel terribly worn out, outdated furniture in the rooms. TV terrible very poor quality and not even flat screen or Freeview on channels, which is unheard of in this day and age! No windows in room, felt very claustrophobic, wants sure you were allowed to even have a hotel room without a window! Scary if there was an emergency! Expensive breakfast.
Excellent location everything else is terrible dirty hotel and staff are sooooo rude
Staff very rude on reception and hotel rooms are filthy
Price value location is near piccadilly garden staion
My room whas in ground floor and it was near bus station stop so was noisy all the night the room is too much Old
It is nice to stay there
they have a very weak WiFi it is really boarding and very slow
Loved the location as it was very central
Hotel is very dated and needs to be renovated, this was reflected in the price so you can't complain to much
Shower was best in a Hotel if stayed in for a while
My room had no window was horrible to sleep in and be in also didn't get told that there wasn't a window in the room
Got upgraded as hotel was very busy
The room I was upgraded to was awful. Window latch broken. Make up or blood all over floor. For a twin room there was 1 bath towel therefore my friend showered with a hand towel! Tv didn't hold any channels. I would definitely question what type of room I was upgraded from if this wasn't Classified as the standard room. I would definitely have complained if it was anything other than a stag party however didn't want to complain in front of my friends. Such a shame for a beautiful building. Staff on front desk were also very poor. I am sure they were very busy but some seemed very ill equipped!
nice hotel, very good location, clean and tidy :-)
Room needed more attention in regards to cleanliness. Extremely thin walls! You could hear everything next door
Everything is near good hotel
