Staff at reception were helpfull and proffesional. Room cleaning good and efficient. There was a problem with leaking water from what turned out to be the central heating unit. This persisted for the three days of my stay although reported on each of the three mornings I stayed. |

Excellent location, impressive foyer, good food in restaurants particuarly Jenny's restaurant, friendly and welcoming staff (including night door men and cleaners!) Smoking and non smoking rooms available. Accommodation was fair considering we paid a reduced cost. However we were supposed to be staying in an 'executive' suite. Had we paid full price we could have complained as it was very basic, lacking in air conditioning and style. Breakfast was a let down. |

Staff were pleasant but took a while to check us in. We had a double executive room, which was clean but not quite what we expected for a 'double executive'. It was fairly small. During the night the heat was horrific, overwhelmingly so and to the point were we had to ring reception to advise them that the heat was stifling! The informed us that all the fans had been taken and then sent up a jug of cold water. We then had to sleep with the hotel room door wide open in an attempt to cool the room down (to no avail) and therefore did not get any sleep at all throughout the night. Please see above. During such hot weather the hotel should acknowledge the fact that they don't have air conditioning and supply every room with a fan, not just those who happen to call to reception first. At checkout I would of liked to complain, however there was a sizeable queue and only 2 staff working behind the desk and I had a train to catch. |

The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. The room was well presented and being a smoker, I was delighted to be offered a smoking room. |

It is clean. It is too hot in the room. There is no air-condition. It can't stay a person in summer. |

The decor and architecture. Breakfast was a bit chaotic [Supervisor chastising overstretched waitress at the entrance desk, he had to be interrupted to gain attention ] - but good food. No hot water, but was due to a boiler blowout- but you can't foresee that really! |

Upgraded due to lack of business on a sunday night. Good breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff. Would have expected an iron and ironing board in my room, particularly as was billed as "Executive" - implying caters for business. Ironing room is on 3rd floor. One room for all. Room also very hot - aircon would be good. |

The stay at the hotel was good really, the room was clean, everything i needed. We were able to get a late check out too which really helped. The rooms were not ready when we arrived, we went to see Take That and got bak the the Hotel about midnight, there was no hot water for a shower and also to the single room we booked we had a 6AM call that had not been requested and when my friend answered the phone there was no one there. |

The welcoming and knowledgable staff. The breakfast, although relatively expensive, was excellent. Despite booking an non-smoking room, the one we were given was actually a smoking one, although it was quite clean. Probably this was the case because I booked late and the hotel may have been full. |

The entrance/ foyer to the building is amazing with the chandelier, the sweeping staircase and galleried landings. The staff were very helpful and did their best to assist us. The hotel is very ideally situated for a city break; access to shops, bars and metro. Clearly understaffed, they struggled to cope with the amount of people wanting to check in and out around the 12-2pm time. There was no hot water due to a 'power surge which had knocked out the boiler' I had read a report from a week previously which had cited the same problem - they obviously have not prioritised this issue if it was the same during our stay! |

Central location The rooms were too hot as no air conditioning. We stayed at the Hotel to watch a concert. Having got soaked at the concert we returned for a hot shower only to find no hot water. The problem was not resolved and we couldn't even have a hot shower the next morning. |
