Location great for the city centre and piccadilly train station. Very good shower and friendly service from staff.
The room was very small but for the amount of time we stayed in it, it was fine. With the central location you get the noise so if you need complete silence to sleep it's not great. The bed is also very small, but can be seen as cosy I suppose
The smell of hotel was awful. The eating area smelt of sewage and dampness
The bed was comfy bar staff great breakfast staff great
TV old only 5 channels no free view remote was not for that tv hairs in bath when we arrived 1 towel between us broken drwers on furniture nothing matched tv on old coffee table could not see from bed needed to be on wall no info from reception to were anything was had to go back to ask for password for wifi did not work most of the time we got on once for about 10 mins that was it

Toilets not great
Amenities and central location
Could use a little 'refit'.
we arrived at 12.45 and were told we could not be allocated a room untill 14.00, we explained that we had to be at a wedding at 14.00 and needed somewhere to change we were told we could change in the public bar toilet we were a party of 6, the executive room we had was very poor and dated, would'nt like to see their standard room.
The place hasn't been renovated for a long time. They stated the the original price of the room was 220 for the night. Give me a break!
The bed, the toilet didn't flush for about an hour, only one set of towels, no main light in the bedroom,
The spacious public areas ,breakfasts very good
Lack of lighting in the bedroom no heating in the bathroom
Basically you get what you pay for , no frills but perfectly adequate and a very centrsl location .
Good location in central Manchester. Wi Fi availability. Efficient front desk. Cheap - but not quite nasty.
The whole place is really in need of refurbishment. It's very tatty and overall, it feels a bit murky and grubby. The lighting is appalling everywhere. Not enough sockets in the room. One tea bag.
Staff were friendly
the location of the hotel. Value for money. Reasonably priced bar. comfortable bed.
no windows in room. could do with modernisation, but for what we paid I can't complain.
Nothing. This place is like a cross between a perpetual stag doo and Fawlty Towers... If it was run by Russians instead of John Cleese.
No windows in rooms, heating jammed on high so impossible to sleep, drunk people crashing down corridors and screaming when the downstairs nightclub shut at 4 am, lifts painfully slow and small, can hear nightclub from rooms on the top floor, TVs in rooms barely working, having to negotiate entry past doormen and a raft of stag/ hen party's, decor and fittings old, dusty and out dated, general musty smell throughout the hotel combined with fried food and stale booze.
Bit noisy on Saturday nights
Location fantanic looking inside,
no window in my,requires updating
No ramp àt èñtràñçè
Not a lot
Fantastic staircase, generally pretty good
Little bit noisy from club next door but not too bad
We were able to check in early the staff was very friendly and helpful
Although the room was clean and tidy the curtains were hanging loose and no doors on the wardrobe
the staircase, more if it was looked after properly
The rooms cleanliness was far below standard, stains over the walls and carpets, the beds need replacing as they are well past there best by date, the pillows were nothing more than a flat piece of foam. The room was booked for two but they only catered for one with towels and coffee & tea. The lights did not work properly and with good reason as in the cold light of day you could see all of the filth tried to change rooms but what was offered was just as bad as the first but a lot smaller and was probably only for single occupancy. The staff appeared as they cared as much about their own appearance as they did the rooms! The temperature in the room was ridiculous are-far too hot with know controls, the window opened only a bit which you had to shut because of the noise. Wouldn't pay £30 for the room never mind £130+ It is a shame as it could be a lovely hotel if looked after. If you do have the misfortune to stay check out the dirt in the display cabinets!
Location and that's it.
First room we were allocated had no window at all and was literally a box room. It smelt of stale cigarette smell and the air conditioning/extractor didn't work which is appalling given it was clearly a smoking room with no window. We asked for another room and were given a smaller room where the tv was primitive and the while feel was dated. This hotel is only worth recommending for its prime location, otherwise it's a big standard dated hotel with dated decor and primitive facilities.
The location only!
The bed mattress was too soft, you can feel the spring on your back! I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, i slept on the floor the second night as they cannot allocate me in a new room. Also, the bed room was too dark because it has only one small window.
Room was worst. Wifi was so bad. Totally - I wouldn't prefer to go again.
