i got sleeping one day
dislike anyone know me
Central location at a good rate. Delightful building.
Restaurant could be better, but there are plenty of others nearby.
Breakfast was disgusting
No hot water advised by worker run hot tap for 1hour, then you would get hot water, what a waste of water..
location was good, close to shopping and bus stops
disappointed with breakfast buffet, wifi was very slow
The location of the hotel. Makes moving around less cumbersome. A lot of alternative eating outlets and shopping makes easy.
The furniture in the room urgently need to be changed.
Room was clean,
Quilt was very thin, shower at its hottest wasnt even lukewarm it was cold, bed wasn't too comfy.
Very polite friendly staff. Very grand reception area. Nice old style building. Cheap for one night.
It's in Manchester. Old tv in bedroom. Poor signage outside( I walked right past it).2 guests = 1 hand towel & 1 (half size) bath towel. Faulty kettle that turned on at 4am just after the 2 drunks in the next room started singing to each other. Walls too thin.
Obviously a really impressive building back in the day. Near to Piccadilly Station.
Very long queues at reception with only one staff member. Wifi didn't work and no-one answered the switchboard after two minutes of ringing. Landings smelt of smoke. TV remote had no batteries, and then no reception anyway. No main lights in room, just lamps by the bed. Carpets dirty and walls very thin. A Monday night and the restaurant was closed (not that I would have eaten in it anyway given the cleanliness of the rest of the building.) Seriously wouldn't ever recommend this hotel.
There's nothing I liked about this hotel
The place was tired, the beds was something out of the hostel. It was dirty. There were stains on the bedsheets. It was not fit for purpose
The room i had wasnt worth wat i paid for
Disgraceful Staff ,, Very Unperfeshnal and need to Learn Customer Service ,, We paid an Extra £20 pound for a later check out for a Relaxing Morning only to have 2 days of fire alarm going off , Would and could Not even check in are room if was a Test or a Real fire ,, Due to are phone not working in are room . We did put a complaint in to the Manger and she did say she refund ,, are later check out money of £20 ,, when we when to check out at 2 pm ,, she said we should of been out bye 11am even though we paid till 2pm , that why she would of refunded ,, not for are inconvenience of the fire Alarm , we said ,, when did we discuses in are complaint about checking out at 11am she then just waved her hands ,, and said ,, just give them the money BAD AND AWFULL customer service
Lovely old former Victorian warehouse and . . . . I am afraid that is it. The heating worked and the bed was reasonably comfortable.
1 Same location and price as Premier Inn but much less comfortable! 2 Communal facilities practically non-existent or not worth having. 3 Checked in late to meet client in Reception area which was draughty. 4 Bar closed at 12 midnight and no drinks available. 5 Executive Bedroom small and no ceiling lights, just a couple of table lamps. 6 No electric outlets within reach of the bed to charge phone. 7 Kettle and 2 tea bags but kettle broken so no tea for breakfast. 8 If you arrive without a booking they charge £159.99 for an Executive Bedroom!
Location close to station
Not a lot
Very noisey due to bins and bottle banks been emptied during the night.we where on the 3rd floor and was woken by It,we struggled to get back to sleep.told staff but was given the impression this was not the first time someone had complained.
we liked the hotel and the staff
we were disappointed with our room allocation, we were in 406 and was sold as a superior double, it wasn't superior, on the website it does not show rooms of this standard for obvious reasons
Breakfast and location of hotel was great.
Internet was horrible.Very poor speed couldn't do anything on internet during my stay.
rooms; cold, ripped wallpaper, no windows in room, no ceiling light, no doors on wardrobe, no free plug sockets
Just the location
No window in bedroom, no big light, holes in carpet and chair in room, decor very dated and only had 1 towel in the room on arrival. Walls were paper thin so very difficult to sleep in.
Location is excellent.
Me and my wife and our 2 months old baby travel to Manchester to deal with some business. So we did informed the hotel that we're coming with a 2 months old baby and need a cot to be prepared. They did have the cot in the room for us, but to our suprise. The cot mattress is literally a piece a wood wrapped around with bedsheets. And the space around the room is extremely small considering for the price.
The fire alarm went off and made us late for our show and then in the morning the fire alarm went off again to wake us up and ontop of that I found dirty nickers under the bed
The bed was comfy!
The fire alarm went off three times and we only stayed there 1 night, staff didn't know whether we had to leave or not, very confusing!! Very basic room facilities however was very cheap to stay
The bed was comfortable and the location was perfect for my requirements.
Had to virtually fix the heater myself, the television was one of the old clunky ones, but it may as well have been made of stone as it produced neither picture nor sound, the fan in the bathroom sounded like Concorde, I had to negotiate with the cold water tap to get it to turn on, the bathroom floor was dangerously slippy, the 'make my room up' sign for the door handle was strangely reversed meaning my room wasn't serviced when I got back after work, the lifts were slow and unreliable and breakfast was really poor by today's standards. All in all a very poor experience that will be avoided at all costs in future.
The location and ease to check in.
The fact i paid 180 for a bog standard room for one night when it stated 'executive'.
