Everything. Food was great
Our room was hot and stuffy but it was a Budget room !
great location, good price for one night
wouldn't have stayed for more than one night. Bit run down. Probably not had any decor upgrade since the 80s.
Thought the two males on reception were extremely welcoming and accommodating. I think one was the night manager and he was very polite, personable and very helpful. The room originally booked was quite small and when I asked how much it would be to change rooms he instantly gave us a larger room at no extra cost. Had a great Stay.
The noise of a generator or an air conditioning system was fairly loud if window was open. Also toothpaste in rooms would be helpful
Very noisy, EXTREMELY over priced! Dirty and old.
quiet Location in the city
too less ventilating in the inner room room 589 the ventilating device was out of order
Breakfast Attentive staff
Threadbare carpet in room No iron - have to go to ironing room :-( Old fashioned, small TV
Staff on reception Lunch time food is excellent Drinks reasonable Staff in restaurant pleasant
Nice clean sheets spacious room plenty of wardrobe space lots of hot water
Mirror over the toilet not the sink making it hard to have a shave.. lamp next to mirror in bedroom not working making it hard for partner to do make up.. draw not working in bedroom due to no bottom in it.
Comfortable bed, central location and reasonable price.
The rooms smelt of cigarettes. Not enough staff to deal with reception and luggage storage. An important message was not passed on to me.
Is not good for people who have children using push chair.
The bed was comfortable.
The window didn't close properly so it was noisy all night. Staff did not ask how my night was when checking out which I think they should. Also when booking my one criteria was parking. It was not highlighted that the car park was not on site which was very frustrating with a suitcase and a laptop when you have to walk 10 minutes to get to the hotel. The breakfast room felt like a canteen which was note very nice.
Having a single room which had enough space and having an excellent bathroom with both bath and shower. Also the very good value-for-money given by the breakfast, great choice of items.
The slightly old-fashioned, much-used aspect of the bedroom furniture, BUT this is of little consequence for a short stay, and I mention it only because you asked.
Dirty room Needs a complete refurb Lifts take forever - ESP when staff over ride the call button Reception staff couldn't give a damn All these told past its best and needs a bit of TLC
Needs a refurb corridors badly lit and carpets dingy. Looks tired on the whole. Toilet just kept running all night. Heating on full blast with no way of reducing. Hairdryer didn't work
We booked a suite for 3 nights. The sofa was so uncomfortable to sit on,that we sat on the bed to watch tv.We both had bad backs as result from being so uncomfortable. They need rid of them.
Location great for the city centre and piccadilly train station. Very good shower and friendly service from staff.
The room was very small but for the amount of time we stayed in it, it was fine. With the central location you get the noise so if you need complete silence to sleep it's not great. The bed is also very small, but can be seen as cosy I suppose
The smell of hotel was awful. The eating area smelt of sewage and dampness
The bed was comfy bar staff great breakfast staff great
TV old only 5 channels no free view remote was not for that tv hairs in bath when we arrived 1 towel between us broken drwers on furniture nothing matched tv on old coffee table could not see from bed needed to be on wall no info from reception to were anything was had to go back to ask for password for wifi did not work most of the time we got on once for about 10 mins that was it
Value for money
Toilets not great
Amenities and central location
Could use a little 'refit'.
we arrived at 12.45 and were told we could not be allocated a room untill 14.00, we explained that we had to be at a wedding at 14.00 and needed somewhere to change we were told we could change in the public bar toilet we were a party of 6, the executive room we had was very poor and dated, would'nt like to see their standard room.
The place hasn't been renovated for a long time. They stated the the original price of the room was 220 for the night. Give me a break!
The bed, the toilet didn't flush for about an hour, only one set of towels, no main light in the bedroom,
The spacious public areas ,breakfasts very good
Lack of lighting in the bedroom no heating in the bathroom
