City centre location.

City centre location, therefore difficult to stay away from noise.

Room was clean and of a good standard. Excellent value for what we paid.

Great location with close proximity to the Manchester Conference Centre where I had a course. Beautiful building with relevant facilities.

When I first arrived in my hotel room, there was a big stain on the carpet, and the room smelt odd. It was as if something had been spilt, and great efforts had been made to cover it up. Also, when I tried to get through to room service in the evening, I could not, and I had to get reception to make my order for me (which they did do very promptly).

Central to city, easy access.

35 mins to check in, staff with very poor English and no life to 6th floor.

The hotel reception area was very grand.

We booked four rooms, three of which were not available when we arrived and so we were downgraded to rooms which didn't even have windows. We were not offered anything for this either.

I was given an upgrade which I appreciated very much. Lovely decor, excellent staff.

It's just unfortunate but the noise at night from the street/bar was absolutely deafening till the early hours. I know this is a general problem for most city hotels.

I was up-graded because TV in my room did not work but although they had known about this they had not informed me.There had been problems all week-end previous to my visit.Bar snacks were good and receptin area friendly.

The gardens the rooms overlooked seemed unkempt.The breakfast was not very good and no choices were given as to how eggs might be cooked for example. The srambled egg didnlt keep well under hot lights. I heard someone else order something diffferent but there was no indication as to what might be available.No menu given.

Convenience , has good food without having to go elsewhere. Front bar very loud music, back bar much nicer and friendlier staff

Check in process. Rooms not ready by 3pm had to come back after 5pm which obviously happened to everyone. The line to check in then was unreal as people had shopping and laden with bags and anxious to get to their room. Tempers were flairing so the reception staff got a hard time. If that is happening they need to hire ?more cleaning staff so rooms ready earlier, or more check in staff when people come back at 5/6oclock as most people did.

Excellent location and reasonably good value

Poor quality, not very comfortable. Room far too hot (even though it was 3 degrees outside) and necessatated keeping the window open at all times which made it hard to sleep because of the noise outsde.
