The free wireless internet was one of the main reason Britannia was chosen

Considering that neither the design of the hotel is not its strong nor are its facilities, it should greatly improve on its service. I ordered a dish at the restaurant and was more dissatisfied with how the staff handled the dissatisfaction than with the actual fatty meat.The chef or manager could have offered one of his other best dish instead but nothing was done to remedy to this dark stain. Having had experience at your competitive neighbouring hotel (novotel) I can confirm that the service offered was poor even in british standards. Tub had molds and bed lights are too elevated to be able to lie on the bed and reach for them. all in all the design and TV were not very modern.

Very enjoyable stay at a very reasonably priced and well provided hotel.

Excellent value for money, rooms comfortable, only down side was the size of the TV in the room, they need to upgrade to a size other than a tiny portable TV.

just a short walk from the airport so location is the best thing about this hotel.Rooms are clean and comfortable,options for food are also good.

Prices of rooms and meals was quite high.

Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent breakfast and very good location for Newcastle on the Metro and then travelling into Northumberland by car.

We stayed at the Britannia Newcastle because we were flying early the next morning. It was perfect for this - it is just a couple of minutes walk to the airport and you can leave your car at the hotel - it was so easy. Also has a choice of restaurant or bar menu if you want to eat. We will definately use this hotel again.

We arrived very early in the morning & the night staff were very helpful.

it is a convenient economy hotel, easy parking.

the first room given to us is uncleaned, so we've got another, however it was a family room, we are tired and do not want change again, the stuff was not professional at all,anyway, it was not so bad.

The proximity to the airport. The basics that are required in a room were all there. The bath towels were a good size. Bed was comfy. Quiet rooms - albeit when the planes stopped flying. Lots of sockets for todays electronic traveller.

A little tired looking ie carpets, furniture, some lights did not seem to work.

The hotel staff were very kind as we had a funeral and they arranged for our room to be done by twelve instead of two as we had to be ready by 1.00.In the night time the staff were friendly and were very good and prompt with room service as we were hungry.Everyone in the staff department were helpful and nice.Thankyou very much.

It was a little tired in the room and an update maybe due sooner than later,but it was clean and tidy.
