The price was decent for the location. We were offered a better room after sleeping in a twin room the first night.
We were first offered a damp and warm room from a basement. The beds are just simply terrible and the wifi isn't really working.
sorry to say but bed was really horrible.
great location, everything you need near by
Hotel is tired and needs a refurb, everything is scuffed and tired, location just about makes it wiorth it.
Location to Round House.
Bed was cheap and uncomfortable felt like it was going to break. No phone numbers or stationery in room. Breakfast was not delivered to room on time and when it did come was of a very low standard and toast was cold.
Room didn't have a window and was very hot.
Managment staff rude & unhelpfull. Heating not working for three nights out of four. Paid for four nights parking but could only park for two nights
The location on is fantastic for the Roundhouse. If you just need somewhere to sleep for 1 night this place is ideal. If you are staying longer - don't.
The disinterested staff, parking problems, cracked bathroom sink & floor tiles, poor hot water supply, non working wifi in the room.
Hotel lobby was ok that's where it ended. Huge bright pink stain in middle of carpet, black mould around the windows that didn't fit, very noisy, fire alarm at 3am which was false alarm but no staff to tell us that. Breakfast was cold had to root for a clean plate, scrambled egg was grey, poached were burnt! Sausages were awful, hash browns raw in middle...Hotel stank of smoke and turns out 2nd floor smoking is allowed !!!! Let receptionist know how I found stay and she shrugged... I paid £125 for this room and it was the worst I've ever stayed in. I am happy as long as a hotel is clean and comfortable- disgusted this place is open!!!!
Infested by mice
There was 24 hour reception and bar. Really close to the roundhouse , bars and restaurants.
Booked 2 months in advance and they didn't have the room we requested.. Had to ask twice to be moved as 2nd room was in the basement no windows and the halls smell like urine. There was a mouse running round the restaurant in the evening. Big red stain on the carpets in our room.
clean, comfortable. with crisp sheets.
slightly seedy feel about it
selection of food for breakfast very good. other than the smell of cigarette smoke, and the flooding in the bathroom the room and bed were very comfortable
no warm welcome from staff. room smelt of cigarette smoke. bathroom flooded after taking a shower, staff response was happens some times, offered more towels to mop up. plates, food and coffee in restaurant not hot enough. hadn't pre-booked dinner, so asked for a table for two, we were billed before eating our meal, as I helped myself to dinner the same member of staff approached me in front of other guests and questioning whether I had paid. I found this a embarrassing. he then checked the till realizing he was in the wrong. no warm welcome checking out, handed over our key, response was "do you want a receipt", a good morning, hello or even a smile would have been nice! we stopped at the hotel in November 2013, didn't have any of these problems, has there been a change in management?.
The location was great for Primrose Hill and Camden.
The room was awful, the bathroom was clean but carpets, chairs and valances on beds were filthy. The hotel was advertised as non smoking throughout but our room was a smoking room. There were no leaflets in hotel about surrounding area and even though the hotel was on primrose hill rd the manager had to look on internet to tell us which way to go out of hotel to get to said primrose hill. Would not recommend it to anyone i know.
Pillows were to soft
It's in a good location and had a decent breakfast
The hotel could do with a full make over Bedrooms Very tired looking
Bathroom fixtures chipped and cracked..
Location was great in regards to bus stops & a local train station, hotel and rooms were clean.
Beds were insanely uncomfortable. I expected a twin room to have double beds, was greeted with single beds. (Pictures showed double beds). Heating was faulty the entire stay (3d/2n)
Friendly staff Good wifi convenient for our purposes
Damp room Shower leaked over floor breakfast mediocre only one lift working and that was in poor condition furnishings old and falling apart bathroom needed replacing
Nothing to like,
Hotel in need of major updating, very tired furnishings. Staff need retraining.
Room was terrible. Carpet threadbare, the shower was in a cupboard, a connecting door that was so think and only held by a cheap small bolt, the central heating wasn't working. Hotel initially put me in a basement room that smelled of drains and boiled cabbage with a tiny window the size of a shoebox. After complaining they begrudgingly "upgraded" me to a room which was only marginally better. Spent the night sleeping fully clothed due to lack of heating. Attitude of staff was "couldn't care less". Hotel needs complete clean and refurbishment. Travel Lodge's are luxury in comparison AVOID!!!
Was upgraded to a different room at no extra cost
Excellent location, spacious room, very quiet and very clean.
The room had no windows but I wasn't aware of that at the time of the booking.
Shower worked well
Had to rehang curtains as they had fallen down Dark staining on carpet and rest dirty. Cracked tiles in bathroom
very strong wi-fi. warm bath water.
Outsite the elevators you could smell toilets, very narrow paths to go to the room. very cold room and had to ask for a movable unit which was provided.
