Good connection to downtown. Quiet and clean environment and a hotel. Delicious breakfast. Rooms No. 1-20 are no windows - it was unfortunately our case.

Initially I stayed in room 20 in the basement , I never seen a room without a window !!! , I'm clastrophpbic , I wake up at 5.00 am in panic attack , I insisted to move to another room with window , I was transferred to a twin room in smoking floor , which I didn't like as I prefer a double bed & I'm not a smoker , but I had no other option .

Good value for money - you get what you pay for! Good location, decent, clean room - nothing fancy but perectly good for a night or two. Tatty furniture, scuffed desk etc. Mixed service from staff - some were very helpful and others a little bit grumpy. Overall, no complaints - you pay for and it's great value for money.

The good natured manager Mr. Inderpreet Singh, who was always willing to assist my elderly parents. He was a great guy who made all the difference. His colleagues were also nice in their own ways. Overall they worked like a family. A fine hotel and great staff. Nothing comes to mind. Maybe some old furniture!

The location of the hotel suited my purposes. There were facilities available(meals and bars etc) if I needed them. The number C11 bus stopped outside and Belsize Park tube station was a short walk away. Easy access to a variety of shops and restaurants met all my needs. The area was quiet but not isolated. Although the room was very clean and comfortable, I felt that the bathroom was showing signs of wear and DIY maintanance.

Ease of access from North Circular after m4. Service from reception staff after being allocated very poor basement room. No windows in either bedroom or bathroom very not and stuffy this time of year. Room dealt with and we upgraded to a suite for £20 per night more which was in budget. Very good to return to a quiet location after gig and night out in Camden Although we pre-contacted the hotel and they could not guarantee car parking, and being told we had a large 4x4 we were told that parking would not be a problem. It was and the only place tp park was on the road outside with parking available until 8.30am the next morning. would recommend that car parking is sought in Camden that was as low cost as the hotel charge if available.

Location The people next to our room party all nite -did not get much sleep. I reported this at teh reception the morning after as I wanted to change room and they replied that the people next door had already checked out. Also, I noticed the staff at the reception helped some turists with their luggages, whilst did not help my mu and I. Rude

Clean big room with window not overlooked and perfect location for my needs - so lovely to walk onto Primrose Hill and walk down through Regent's Park, with spring flowers in full bloom, into Tottenham Court Road. Also very near posh shops in England's Lane and short cut through Fellows Road to gastro pub on Haverstock Hill, or up to Hampstead Village or down to Chalk Farm tube and Roundhouse. Good price for this location. Bed - English sprung mattress very uncomfortable. Service in the bar at 6.45pm - no one there and when girl did turn up she took our order for Chicken Caesar salad and actually brought salad with no chicken. It was truly horrible and not worth the 5pounds 75 at all as just chopped up lettuce with a few anchovies and salad cream of some sort. The house red wine was disgusting. I live in Brussels where food and drink like this would never be served to anyone, sorry. If I stay here again I would avoid the resto-bar!

The only plus point is the location as its within easy distance of Primrose Hill where my family livel. The room was windowless in the basement and quite basic, in need of refurbishment. A charge of £10 per day parking was added onto my bill which I was unaware about I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 10 years and never had to pay parking. At the time of booking I should have been made aware of this, it makes it a very expensive weekend, hotel+ parking + petrol costs. Yvonne Kemp

my wife and i travelled to see a concert at the roundhouse.the location was everything in choosing this hotel.the room was clean and smelled fresh.breakfast was nice and good value for money. the hotel was in a run down state.the staff were only interested when taking your money.the rest of the time they had to force smiles on their faces.the room was so dated it looked as if you had walked into a caravan bedroom from the nineteen seventies.not what we would expect from a .three star hotel.terrible.

Good location for Camden and The Roundhouse, plus a quick walk to Primrose Hill, can not fault the location. Think the hotel needs a bit of an upgrade, still using keys and not cards to enter your room. TV's also need updating. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Good location (close to Camden Town); Nice area; Comfy beds; Friendly staff; Food available 24/7; Car park (only a few spaces though); Parking is available in the surrounding streets at certain times of the day; Good price (£65 for a double room on a Saturday night). I was in one of the newer rooms on the 'basement' floor again, which I find can be a bit 'stuffy'. For example, after a shower I find it difficult to cool down because of this. Also, there are no windows in these rooms, so when you wake up the next morning you don't really know if it is morning or if you've woken up in the middle of the night. The car park only has about 15 spaces and costs £10 per day.

The location was great for my business needs and the price was very good for the location in London. The staff were a little blunt with their service. I asked to stay for an extra night and I felt this was an inconvenience rather than extra trade for the hotel. The decor of the hotel was very dated and the towels in the bedroom were substanded.

“Bayswater is such a convenient area for so many things to visit, we thought that the suites were very good value for money. However we would especially like to comment on the reception staff. A lady and a young man ( the lady was on duty when we arrived on Thursday and both were on duty on Saturday afternoon when we returned to pick up our cases. They couldn't have been MORE HELPFUL and we were very impressed with the service. facilities in the suite were much more than we expected.” Anne, Dymchurch |
