Room even though outdated was nice Very conveinant location Starbucks 2 seconds away
Bathroom at the bar downstairs!! Disgraceful !!! Someone had literally missed the toilet was all over the seat (can guess what I'm talking about)
The room was damp And condensation on the window . Stains on the bedding that was shocking . Couldn't believe when I went in the bathroom hairs in and around the bath, and pubic hairs in and around toilet . I was disgusted , they moved us to a room opposite that was slightly better . Rooms dirty damp and tired l
The hotel was very clean and was very convenient for us for visiting Cecil Sharp House. The female receptionist was most helpful.
No heat in room or bathroom. No slip mat in bath. Freezing cold bed-the duvet very thin. No blanket. No welcome pack. No fire alarm instructions. No telephone. No Chair. Just getting over flu/bronchitis We are frequent visitors to London but will give this hotel a miss in future.
The food was nice
Full of young contractors smoking weed drugs in rooms the smoke was make me feel sick in my room, it happened ever night for 4 nights, spoke to manager but nothing was done about it! I would have left if I'd family was with me
The location of the hotel is excellente. It is near to the underground, and well connected to the central areas. The accommodations are good, clean and comfortable.
The wi-fi signal is terrible in the rooms located far from the reception. It almost impossible connecting the internet.
When me and my partner complained to the receptionist that the basement room because it was too hot. I am glad that she changed it from basement double room to 4th floor twin room. Thanks for your help.
Basement room should be advertised as basement room because there's no air, no window and it was hot that might cause of my asthma. When I saw the basement room, me and my partner was so disappointed.
Good rates for central London
Location and neighbourhood.
Not working WiFi, unfriendly staff not focused on customers needs.
Pretty dirty. Tap drips all night. 4% extra charge for paying with a credit card. They lost my key and blamed me saying they were going to bill me for it. Obviously they found it later but not until after they had made threats to me.
Value and location
Wifi n staff pleasant
As explained above its so run down..dirty carpets.smelled of canabis in the stairwell, mould all around windows, beds tiny and zero support.one plus so if TV on no charging for devices.had to ask toilet roll.rust on shower rail.awful hotel needs knocking down. Never stay there.
they put me in the basement. no windows. stains on the carpet. the bed sheets didn't look like they were cleaned. bathroom was poorly cleaned. and the bed was very lumpy. noise through the air vent from next room was annoying. unpleasent stay.
Reception staff speak too quickly with no sincerity on check in.
Room was clean
Room on level -1, no windows, stuffy, corridors were dirty and swinging door outside my room was extreemly noisy. Other guests were in considerate and loud at anti-social hrs. Was oaken at 22:30 by someone trying to force their way into the room...heart in mouth! Hotel staff came to check but found nothing and then person came again shouting names through the door. Hotel staff were very attentive. This made what would have been an ok -1 without windows 'cell' stay a slightly nightmarish one!
Smoking rooms are available and friendly staff.
The staff were polite and friendly - always service with a smile - we were recognised from our previous stay in October. The room was very clean and well cared for. Plenty of hot water, tea and coffee. Meals were very good for the price and more than adequate with a good variety of food. We are looking forward to our next stay in April
It is a pity that the rooms are not double glazed as the condensation on the windows makes the linings of the lovely curtains very wet and occasionally mouldy. This is the only thing that bothered us.
Location for where we wanted to go very good
could do with being updated. lack of parking and being charge for it at the hotel when you stay there
Location, Primrose Hill view, distance to shops and pubs
Badly working WiFi.
cost effective clean and nice after refurbishment.
grumpy front desk slow bar service
A very dated hotel needs a re fit desperately. Check in staff were not welcoming lacking a smile or any warmth. After being allocated our room on the first floor which was non smoking. (we booked a high level double room smoking) we returned to reception to explain this,we were then allocated a smoking twin room on the second floor as there were no doubles left. We said This would be fine be as we would put the beds together and the receptionist didn't say anything. After doing this late in the evening and lying down for 10 mins chatting we heard a bang and found the head board that was supposedly screwed to the wall had fallen off inches from my head. Very lucky I wasn't lying a few inches to the left at the time i could have ended up seriously injured. Yes we probably shouldn't have moved the beds but we were not told not to and you would expect the headboard to be sufficiently attached to something ie the wall or the bed frame! Bathroom very basic shower head did not look like something you would want to use to get clean, took the plunge hot water straight away so not that bad but the quickest shower I have ever had. Despite being a twin room between 2 of us we had a small hand towel and a normal sized towel to share. Radiators didn't work (did have an electric heater in the room) a bit annoying as we could hear the noisy hotel heating system a floor below clonking on and off in the night. Probably innocent but on one of our duvets there was a sticker with the date 03/01/15 now We don't know if that was the day it was made or cleaned last but we stayed on the 15/01/15 so you would have thought someone else would have stayed in the room in the mean time and the sticker would have been updated or removed in the washing process bottom line we felt the hotel wasn't clean. Would not stay here again or suggest anyone else to stay here either.
the bathroom wasnt very clean and vry bad smells in the hallway
Good location for an overnight stop. Very basic facilities but for the price I didn't expect much
The water was only Luke warm
Had lovely stay
