First room offered the ceiling had collapsed in the bathroom..due to a flood above..but they found me another room quickly.. Lots of condensation in the rooms, and the road noise was intrusive... Beds not comfortable... Shower a bit grubby... Austere...
Location - walking distance from Chalk Farm (10 - 15 mins) ideal for London Zoo etc Price
Shabby, worn carpets, bathroom fittings etc Smoke smell due to guests smoking in rooms Could be cleaner - may have seemed dirtier due to worn out facilites
wi fi and noise of the street
where it was.
having to walk through the canteen to get to my room,
Service They changed my room so it was next to a very noisy elevator. Had to change room again.
The hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. I only ate breakfasts, but there was plenty of choice and everything seemed freshly cooked.
My only problem was the very busy road outside. Even with earplugs I could hear sirens and heavy vehicles.
I've stayed here before a few times and previously was great. Location is good.
Noisy (woke from 5am to banging and crashing) A man let himself into my room at 7am with a key so I got frightened waking up to that as a woman on my own. Hardly safe. Bathroom had other people's hair all over it. I tried to complain and the staff laughed and didn't take me seriously. Emailed manager and no answer at all so if you get any problems don't expect any help-and I was a loyal customer. Advise people to think before they book if rooms aren't kept secure!
The fact it was in leafy upmarket hampstead close underground, ask for one of the very recently refurbished rooms. On site parking also available
nice view of city from hotel room
Location was excellent
The breakfast was definitely not fit for human consumption!! Staff very unhelpful and rude would not stay here again
Location is it's only good feature
Everything else - this place is totally worn out and terrible
The staff at breakfast were not very helpful. When I asked where things were such as milk, bread and butter for toast they pointed from 20' away. This did not pin point where the items were.
Location for The Roundhouse
Cleanliness and decor left a lot to be desired. Booked a double room but it was 2 singles pushed together with individual duvets.
Great location near Primrose Hill. Clean and a good shower.Handy for tube and buses.Heating did not come on and staff brought up a portable heater.
Requested an early check in. Arrived at 1330 but were made to wait till 1400. Thought that was petty and unhelpful.
City view, spacious room, bath was a plus. A few minutes walk to multiple tube stations, or there's a bus from the corner. Also just up the road from Primrose Hill Park, amazing view of the city.
room quiet clean and nearby a beautiful park, two major sub-tube. And the "Moonnite Malysian,Thai Restaurant" (5 mins by walk) is amazing. they provide healthy and delicious foods.
Good choice in breakfast, breakfast staff very helpful, receptionest helpful.
Radiator wasn't on dispite being placed on number 5 so room was cold. Shower temp wouldn't adjust so was quite hot but couldn't turn it down.
My low expectations were met, this hotel is contractors dormitory but at the price of £94 inc breakfast it was ok
No parking, scruffy tied bed, the quilt and bedding poor. Bathroom had an avacado suite and this was an executive double and nothing like the website pics.
Price was good, was close to location as we were going to a gig at the roundhouse which was less than a 10min walk and 15mins from camden town and close to a tube station
Charged extra as I paying with a debit card, the bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in, good that wifi was provided but it was really slow. Building was a bit rundown
Good car parking for only £10 - hotel was a great base to visit central London
Decently good and well maintained Good breakfast Clean room Wifi is decent
The bathrooms are a bit congested There is no microwave TV does ot have any godo channels and it as good as TV not being
All staff were very polite, friendly , supportive and caring throughout our stay at a very difficult time for us. Extremely considerate of our needs. We will be returning in January, God willing.
Everything else. Dated decor, smell of damp. Poor car parking facilities, signs everywhere telling of clamping if you parked over the lines. These lines were suited to cars of 30 years ago. Worst bit...room and ensuite had no windows....really !
