The hotel was tiired re decor. Breakfast was dreadful. The cost was poor value

staff very family, value for money, not bad for a one night stay, food ok,

paying for the swimming pool when it did not say you had to in the ad, bed base needs changing in the room we stayed in, it dipped in the middle, you rolled together or slept on the edge,

Location away from the maddening crowd.

Slamming bedroom doors!!!

The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a baby grand piano in the Java lounge and guests are allowed to play it. The gardens are beautiful and my room was large, warm and comfy. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is self-service so you can have as much or as little as you want.

Late availability

I could n't use the pool with my daughter after 5pm. The bed was uncomfortable. Decor was very dated. Our room was right by a lift/stairs so the noise throughout the night from this was disappointing. If I did n't have my daughter with me it would n't matter but she kept waking up too.

Was good value for money as I need to keep costs down

spacious rooms and very good breakfast.

The hotel is looking tired and wearing, When the reception was reall busy up to six waiting one front member was run of his feet, the two people, behind him would not get off there fat lazy bum's and help, dissgracefull.

needs redecorating,tidying up a very good clean, staffs need to be more friendly, breakfast need to have more options like cakes and fresh fruits the swim pool times are not good should be open until later internet wi fi should be available everywhere in the hotel not only in the hall

The room was good value for money. The bed was nice.

The food was bad! The veggie dish awfull and breakfast seriously overcooked. The staff in the restaurant was rude and they gave no information at the front desk. You had to ask everything and even then the answers were short

Stayed there many times due to the excellent value and position. The staff are always helpful and cannot be faulted

There is a regular breakdown between booking instructions sent to booking.com and those that appear on the Royal Court booking forms when I arrive) inclusive breakfast details etc. Not sure where the problem lies with this!

Double room and breakfast (finally) £29 ;)

Booked on booking.com with breakfast included, went down in morning to be told it was room only, checked e mails with proof then finally recieved them,waiting far to long to be seated when there was lots of empty tables also waiting very long time for food to be cooked and served so we could help ourselves also no clean glasses and cutlery

All the perks of a big hotel at a budget price.

Hotel getting a little tired but nothing to be concerned about.

Our stay was very unpleasant. the room was dated with mould on the windows. the shower flooded and reception staff refused to move us out of the room. really disappointed that we even spent money to stay at this hotel. never again! we asked for extra pillows only to be told we cant have them as housekeeping were closed. eventually we were given a key by reception staff to go and get our own pillows!

The room and funiture is dated. The view from the room was of another block - not exciting. The breakfast was over priced £10.25 each. No trouser press or iron in the room which was mentioned on the website.

Stayed at the royal court for a friends wedding, wedding was great food- breakfast lunch and evening was great staff very friendly and helpful no problems at all :)

Going home.

The state of the bathroom in my room and bar, the noise all night early morning and late morning. My bathroom window with no blind and right by the entrance to the reception for all to see as you got undressed ! Then the house maid putting the key in the door to open it in a second shouting house keeping at nine in the morning whilst we were still in bed !

Almost everything. Particularly liked the food (carvery for dinner - three courses very reasonable).

Found the jacuzzi-type bath difficult to turn into a shower (only managed one shower the whole time I was there with jacuzzi baths other days - not easy to wash your hair in a jacuzzi!)

Nice breakfast.

The bed in the double room was too small.

Its been a super Hotel in its day but needs a lot of tlc to bring itup to date.

Had topay to swim we were room only and we were not asked if we needed meals when we checked in so the price was far to high wde had to argue to getb the price down need a shuttle bus to take in to town if the davis cup is being held at the Richo in september we could have a group coming to stay if you gave us a dinner bed and breakfast good rate I await your reply elizabeth harvey

I liked the location which in fact suited our purposes very well. Restuarant staff were very friendly and extremely helpful-we have a special diet and they were as obliging as possible. Staff at reception were helpful and friendly but when we arrived there weren't enough on duty. We also liked the spa bath in our room. It was good value for money.

Extremely lumpy and tired bed.Insufficient staff to deal with reception when complications occur or huge group arrive same time. It wasn't explained to me when I first asked about charge for swimming pool that I could in fact buy a length of stay pass. Had I known that I could have used the facilities.
