The dirt , the tired decor, the rude staff, the lack of hot water, the very slow lifts that stopped at every floor even when not requested. This is a destination aimed at National Holidays and nobody else.

The location is very good and less noisy. Its easier to book at booking.com and even get good bargains.

Staff were courteous and helpful? The shower in our room was fantastic!

Decor is dreadful. Every single sheet of wallpaper in our room was coming off the walls - and that is not an exaggeration! Driving into the car park you can see all the paint peeled off the ceilings. It is in dire need of some modernisation and decoration!

Bar staff esp man was very rude and loud, was more like he was a customer.someone was not happy with food and he asked if they wanted to complain in such a rude way.not brilliant customer service skills.We had already had drinks and they decided to ask me ID for the 2nd drink-would usually wouldnt mind (im 26) but is there any point when youve already served us! Also looked like a multi story car park..which for the price I wouldnt grumble but a lick of paint would be a good idea..

The tv didn't work, the rooms wasn't clean they had A bad smell. Also the telephone didn't work. We changed rooms but the 2nd room was smaller and we wasn't happy but just stayed

The hotel was very good for our particular need which was an overnight stop to visit family in the village. There was everything we needed but in a rather tired way.The breakfast was good once the queue died down and the beds were comfortable.The price was very reasonable.

The hotel is very much in need of a makeover.The outside is very shabby looking and the inner decor needs attention.On our visit there was not enough hot water to have a shower or bath which was very disappointing.The tiling in the bathroom in room 404 needs re grouting.Although a very good breakfast we were left to find our own seats and did not know the procedure as there were several coach parties in at the time.Tea and coffee were only luke warm.

The staff were very friendly! Very helpful, and made me feel very welcome, for this reason I would recommend this hotel. The hotel was also clean, I could not fault it on cleanliness or hygeine.

The only improvement is the decor, it is a little dated, but it would not stop me from staying again.
