value for money in term of room size, facilities and quality of breakfast and parking space.
Staff are not friendly and helpful. Hotel in overall is dated.
if your a smoker you can smoke in the rooms on one floor, my friend was over the moon, restaurant was good and a bar there,
bit cold late at night
bathroom scales in the room - a first! check-in staff friendly and efficient
Having to rely on trouser press and hairdryer to keep warm - heating was not active at all in my 4 night stay in December, even after I asked for it to be looked at, on day 2 No VAT receipt until check-out despite being required to pay upfront
The location is ideal for exploring the midlands-staff very friendly and helpful-food excellent -plenty of car-parking space-we would definitely go back again
a minor thing- prefer ordinary shower and not a power shower
Cheap and cheerful if you get a deal through websites
Fat moody receptionist bad attitude no smile no hospitality ... Must have missed her mcdonalds
I booked this hotel as we were flying out from Birmingham Airport after being at a wedding in Northampton and you could leave your car free of charge and get airport transfer. The room was comfortable enough as we only stayed the one night.
Warning I booked with Booking.com and they advertised airport transfer of £6each return on arriving at the hotel they would not honour this as they said you need to book stay and fly and wanted to charge us £25 each way for a taxi. Lucky on my booking I stated I needed airport transfer and the manager agreed to honour this but if the manager was not in I don't think I would have got it.
Hotel is a bit run down and could do with a re-fit
Location very close to where we were visiting. Friendly helpful staff
Sofa in room looked very tired and needed to put the pillows on it to make it comfortable
Price Location & parking Staff
Thin duvet A little tired around the edges
Mick Hucknall on reception Hotel clean. Nice staff.
Windows were dirty and only opened up no wider than a granny's clenched fist. Tv was a little outdated which made Tulisa on the X Factor look dead. Lights were too orange which made me think I had liver failure. But overall it was a most pleasant of stays.
Quiet and peaceful
My room did not have a shower
Shower wasn't working, the heating made al sorts of noices during the night, the toilet flush was running all night, and there is no intension whatsoever of the manager and other employees to help the guests in any way.
Easy access and disabled parking.
Dirty bed linen, although reported to reception early..nothing was done to replace. Complained the following morning but appeared to 'fall on deaf ears' Maybe try somewhere different next time so disfatisfied.
it felt like a refugee camp!!
Saw staff once booking in. Plenty hot water, nice power shower. Very good price compared to most. Minimal lift waiting time.
Vegan veggie meal options, but to be fair most hotels are like this. Toaster in room would be nice. Furniture out of the fifties, but hey ! its not a holiday hotel
It is very dated
Walked in to ask if any vacancies and told it was full. Walked outside and booked online at lower price... Apart from that it was okay.
filthy room, windows had black mould on them, net curtains were grey with holes. food atrocious
- staff was very nice and helpful - clean room and bathroom, comfy bed - good value for money
only small problems: - wifi was only available in lobby, sometimes was a little inconvenient - had to run the shower for a few minutes for hot water - room was a little cool during night (but wasn't cold in bed)
Was reasonably priced with helpful staff, good showers with powerfull water flow. No major problems well worth the price we paid.
The attention to detail in on the cleaning of the rooms.
Everything! Mold on the walls, damp, dirty, disgusting hotel!
All sraff was really helpful & friendly
Jus abit grimey
friendly staff clean room warm and comfortable
bar not open on Sunday afternoon £3 charge for room service
1) Staff, most are great. 2) Breakfast isn't loaded in fat. 3) Great location for me.
1) Poor lighting in the car parks, 2) The outside could do with smartening up (Sweeping?), 3) WiFi needs to be accessible from the rooms not just the reception area. 4) TV's could do with an update and some extra channels.
