Britannia Sachas Hotel

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist ideal für Leute die gerne Shopping gehen. Alle Busse sind innerhalb von 5 - 10 Minuten in reichweite des Hotels. Das Hotel bietet Übernachtungsgäste ein englisches Breakfast für 5 Pfund pro Tag, welches sehr günstig ist.

Leider war mein Zimmer sehr laut da das Fenster sich nicht richtig schliessen lies. Das Hotel könnte eine Renovierung gebrauchen war aber sauber und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend.

Das Bett war eine etwas ältere Bauart.

das Personal war wenigstens so flexibel, uns zum gebuchten Preis ein anderes Zimmer zuzuweisen, nachdem im ersten Zimmer das Bett durcchgelegen und viel zu klein war; das zweite Zimmer schien O.K. zu sein, aber die Badewanne leckte, so dass wir noch einmal das Zimmer wechseln mussten und das Behindertenzimmer zugewiesen bekamen.

die Matratzen sind unter aller Kanone, die Heizung ging nicht, die Badewanne bricht bald zusammen (softes Plastik !), die Wasserhähne sind kaum einstellbar, es gab im Badezimmer keinen einzigen Haken zum Aufhängen von Handtüchern, die Fenster sind total dreckig

We booked an executive double room for the weekend stay in the city but found that the room that we was allocated was below what would be classed as executive. The laminate flooring in the bathroom was comming apart at the joints, the bedroom door was pourly painted with screws still visable holding the false mouldings to the door. The shower didn't work correctly, lack of water presure and there where visable stains on the bedroom carpet. At 6am there was a 5 second fire alarm call which was not expected. During our stay one of the lifts was not working and on more than one occation we had to take the stairs to the lobby from the 6th floor which was confusing due to having to change stairs on the 4th floor.

Location was fantastic

Poor shower with temperature that varied. Very poor mattress. Would have liked to have seen leisure facilities included in the price.

Friendly staff, both booking in and other reception enquires. Cleaning staff very polite and took the the time to say good morning without patronising. This costs nothing and is a nice, friendly way to start the day.

One minor issue, staff in the gym area not always available, I presume due to other duties. A number of guest, myself included, had to wait to gain entry into the gym on seperate occasions.

Value for money, good quality breakfast. Staff were very helpful

No heat in the bedroom, had to be supplied with fan heater. No private parking facilities.

The hotel was very central for the shops and night life.

My room smelt of stale smoke even though I'd asked for a non-smoking room.

the heating did not work in my room and all i got as an alterntive was a blow heater that broke on the 1st night. the fire alarm also kept going off at irregular times
