Smoking rooms Room size Price
No windows Shower not working
- Location is great - Check-in was quick and staff efficient - Iron, hair drier and toiletries provided
- No window in room (not told this on booking) - Noisy extractor fan in bedroom - Stained chair - Bathroom had damp and mildew - shower curtain rather than screen
My room didn't even have a window and you had to pay for the pool
Location was perfect
Unfriendly, unhelpful staff Awful rooms (noisy vent, no window) Internet was unusable Housekeeping did not clean room, only made bed Had to pay to use the gym
The reason I didnt like the hotel is because I paid for an executive room which looked like a economic room. Also there were tiny bugs that I seen in the bed near my pillow which I seen twice I wasnt happy atall, I was afraid to lay my hair down incase the bugs came in my hair. And there were alot of banging couldnt get much sleep.
Location and price
Hotel very tired. Room was quite clean but bathroom scruffy and needed maintenance. Swimming pool poor and uninviting gave it a miss.
size of the room
some features needed updating, bathroom and tv
Unfriendly staff. Room without windows. Room without internet access. internet worked only in reception and it was very bad even there. Poor cleaning. I dropped a few crumbs of bread on the floor on the first day and it stay there until the last day, so imagine that they do not even cleaned the ground.
getting up early!!! ha
- Some staff were quite rude and sometimes would get mad, but others were very polite which balanced the situation - the manager is very responsible - rooms (mine were executive double) are clean and bathrooms are good - great location, right next to piccadilly gardens and to main shopping areas
- some rude staff, you will need to pick and choose to avoid frustrated people - toilette was a little bit small - i stayed there for more than a week and there was a wedding during the weekend. the guests were very noisy in the corridors and the music downstairs was very loud, had a hard time sleeping then - had a sense that there was little control of who goes in and out - breakfast could have less variety of cooked and fried eggs, and more variety in other foods; milk tasted old
The fact my door did not lock and was almost falling off the wall. I ask to have another room but they had none available. I had to wedge a chair against the door to keep it locked. Very poor.
Location is excellent
The room as very stuffy, no window as expected, but also the air con/fan did nothing. Room was like a sauna. Extra fan was provided but was so noisy I was unable to sleep with it on. Tv in room is old style and didn't work.
The location, and the outer view of the hotel. The hotel is neat.
Poor Customer service. I booked for a family room but I was given a double room with 2 single bed joined, at the price of family room. Poor service! Tv remote not working, no cable Chanel. Horror!
Very run down, unreliable wifi and untrained staff. The hotel rooms were clean but this was the only outstanding feature. Overall the whole hotel looked poor with many issues including several broken lights and broken climate control.
Staff very friendly and helping when asking for advice on transport
The room had no window and it was a smoking room thought there should have maybe being a window in the room
very clean and great location.also the bar downstairs had very cheap deals on beer.
We had a room located without any windows, which when we booked we were told about it, however the room had no air conditioning and no air circulation so it was very hot and stuffy and we struggled to sleep,
The location is very good.
The room quite warm and I don't know how to operate the air-conditioner and the plug quite far from the bed
Location is great
Right in the centre of Manchester, staff were helpful in sorting out a problem.
noisy air circulation system in 'inside rooms' The room i booked was not available on arrival, but a suitable alternative was found.
Very convenient location, very pleased to be upgraded due to lack of availability on rooms we paid for
There was a lot of noise from the quests during the day time in the common aeras of the hotel. The room service is not very good, because they do not clean and replace properly the room staff.
The location is great
The hotel is dirty and the staff do not clan everyday. It has a lit of Miskito !!!
The staff were very friendly and proffesional and the room was great clean and well presented. The service in hotel was fautless.
Could have had more tea and coffee in the room and more towels in bathroom.
