Nothing apart from the door that got me out of there
Everything except the said door
Ideal for shopping clean and tidy friendly staff
Television was old style and flickering
Shower wasn't working television was very old and sound was crackling badly door chain was broken the kitchen was being refurb end which we weren't told about at booking we managed to get a meal on our own in a large cold conference room the meal was awful on the whole not an experience we would like again
everything about the hotel, was good
paying for the pool
It was a difficult night as it was the Football match Man City. There was no proper restaurant and I was not warned in advance. The bedside light did not work.
Room too warm Mirror damaged Water doesn't go through in the bathroom sink Difficult to get to the hotel by car
Access to Central Manchester
Wifi didn't work. Shower leaked and there was mould on the carpet outside as a result.
The hotel was fine and central and it was good value for money
The room was very warm a bit uncomfortable and it would have been better if it had a window
The guy at reception was friendly and very happy to explain us where to go and what to Do!!!!
The room without window is unacceptable !!!
Good location friendly staff room very clean
The bar got locals that got a little rowdy
Comfortable bed. Warm room.
The décor & furnishings are in need of an update.
Hotel double booked and blamed booking.com so put us in a double room with no Windows. Filthy, mould round bath, loose tap, broken air con, tv older than us and nicotine stained, chair in room covered in stains and a noisy fan in place of air con. Only offered 10 quid off price for their mistake! Do not use this hotel, it's awful!
Clean but small room
I didn't like that you did not get breakfast included in the exorbitant cost you charge for 1 night
great central location to Manchester shopping area. NCP Car parking very close by.V.good prices in the bar late afternoon.
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar area was very large and the prices were exceptional for a hotel.
Probably being a bit picky really but there were no batteries in the remote control for the TV.
The room was warm and had no windows so it was dark, so we had a good nights sleep especially as we only got in late from clubbing. Check out was 11am which was reasonable. The hotel was also in a really good location. Only 10 min walk from Piccadilly station.
The rooms and hotel are in a desperate need of refurbishment. The wall paper was coming off the walls, the sockets were smashed in. The duvet was slightly dirty at one side.
Good location but thats where it ends...
smoked stained corridors and room, lumpy bed, no window in room an air con didn't work,General lack of housekeeping!
The location of the hotel is excellent. 5 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station & under 10 mins to the Arena. We were attending a concert there which is an easy walk - no need for taxi's.
The hotel is crying out to be updated. The decor is old, areas very shabby & overall looks very tired. If you are there for a quick overnight stay & need a great location. I would not consider a longer stay.
Recepton looked ok, that was about it. We did get a full refund and were gone.
Everything. We were assigned 5 different rooms and every one was unacceptable.Broken lights, dirty rooms, holes in walls, taps that wouldn't turn off, water leaking through the bathroom ceiling, I could go on. Avoid!!!!!
Was a great locations. The staff where pleasant. The reception area was lovely. Cleanliness was good. Bed was comfy and I liked how we got a bath and a shower.
I didn't like that there was no window in our room. Room was very hot. Although there was a fan provided it was very noisy and couldn't sleep with it on so was very hot through the night and the air con was not very good. Room was old fashioned not like the photos I seen. However I still enjoyed my stay.
Good location, friendly staff
Only bad point was very little sleep due to a buzzing noise outside our room, which lasted ALL night :(
friendly staff decor
luke warm water in bath and shower poor room for an executive type room decor shabby in parts, signs of major water ingress in one of the bars, paintwork peeling very noisy corridor on both nights at 3am! (guests may not be hotel's fault), two brief fire alarms at around 10:30 due to smoke machine in venue room.
Very very very dated not value for money at all would never go back
The location was superb
The room was a smoking rom when I booked a non smoking room, there was still ash in the ashtray. The lights didn't work. Staff were rude upon questioning around the room status and I was advised I could not be moved. Also, I was told to park in the NCP car park at the top of the street when I called prior to check in, only to find that I did not get any discount there as originally promised. In honesty I could not wait to check out the following morning
