great location, very central for all amenities. room was spot on, clean and comfortable with the real bonus of having the choice of smoking or none smoking. i am a smoker and never smoke outside so this was great for me. we were only with you for 2 nights so did not have the opportunity to try out swimming pool etc. we were not impressed by anyone at receotion! they came across as if they couldnt care less not very pleasant or helpfull. |

That on the saturday there was some music going on like a disco, it was good to hear that they do this sort of thing. I just didnt like that my bed kept on squeeking all the time but apart from that I had a comfortable sleep and I was nice and warm. |

The bathrooms were dirty and the shower leaked all over the floor, the lights did not work properly, the cutlery stuck to the table at breakfast. I actually stayed out late to avoid having to go back to my room - which was hard when I was trying to type reports in a nearby pub. The whole stay was horrible!! |

Staff were friendly, location was convenient for centre of town. Whole place is really tired. Fine if you're on a very tight budget, or if you need somewhere very cheap for a one-night city stopover and don't want more than three hours sleep. However, the room was freezing due to old metal windows and bad secondary double-glazing, (I had to leave the windows open for half an hour, because the room stank of smoke, and the heating never got it back up to temperature again,) and the bed was very hard and lumpy. Bar prices amazing - £3.10 for a single vodka. Ouch!! |

It's location and the reception staff The upkeep was poor, most of the staff hardly spoke any english and the room left a lot to be desired. |

The size of the room. Location of the hotel. Comfortable. Friendliness and efficiency of reception staff. We turned up for the evening buffet and were told we could have a table so bought some drinks and dat down. The waiter came over offering us the a la carte menu and not the buffet and was not pleased as we were on the wrong table but that was where another member of staff had put us. Some of us went to the buffet but there was virtually nothing left. We were wholly unimpressed by the misinformation we were given and lack of communication in the restaurant. |

The friendly staff and the location were both big pluses. Yes, my room was freezing. Which is the only complaint I have about the hotel, but it was not very pleasant. I notice I am not the first person to mention this, so it seems to be an ongoing problem. |

this hotel is in a great location, close to shopping, bars and transport. however i wasnt happy because out heating didnt work and it was snowing outside. single glazed windows didnt help. the best we could be offered is an electric blow heater which rattled like crazy and couldnrt be left on. really not good enough considering the time of year . |

The reception staff were extremely friendly and polite. Didn't use facilities as only there for one night. The heating was up too high to allow a comfortable sleep and no way of controlling it. |
