Nothing, location was good parking was diabolical Do not stay at this hotel!!!! I booked a double executive room as advertised on the website, it was nothing like the picture advertised. There were young people in the room next door going in and out of each others room every 5 minutes banging doors and loud noises. I complained and asked to be moved to another floor. The person at the front desk insisted I paid an extra £10 before he would move us, when I went upstairs to move our bags there were young people running around in their underwear. The next room was on the 5th floor, this room looked exactly like the one on the website, however the telly didn't work. There were two air conditioning systems going on, one of them you could not turn off so the room was cold!!! This was a triple executive. The carpet was dirty, there was holes in the wall, and to top it all I found a bug in the bed. I took it down to the duty manager who refunded my £10 and offered a free breakfast, we did not take up the offer just wanted to get out of there fast!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in the process of writing to the ceo regarding the service at this hotel. I have been using Booking.com for years and never, never, never been disappointed with the hotels they have advertised on the website, this is the first time!!!

Horrendous..dirty ,carpets need a good clean, sockets hanging off wall, wallpaper stuck on with cellotape, furniture a disgrace in all worse than faulty towers what a nightmare............ On the fith floor the lifts were not working we used the service lift.wow, what afilthy dirty place,it needs a fortune spending on it to make it habitable,or better still knock it down..........Health and safety would have a field day. The hair dryer was one Adam left behind and didnt work,no pat testing on the television, and the electric testing was years out of date.... You need more? I have photographs to prove..........

The hotel smelled like mold all over , air codition didnt work. We changed rooms 2 times and on 1of the rooms it wa at least 35 C. No window on th single rooms ( what if a fire broke loose and the hallway was closed!!!!! ). Elevator was noisy and sounde like the wire was gonna break any minute. The door didnt open on the ground floor. When asking for maintenance to arrive , no specific time was givven at the reception. Eggs were well over done. For Your own sake stay away from this hotel. It is bad for Your health , and should be shut down.

The location, and that's about it, the worse hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was too hot, the air con didn't work properly, there was hair on the bathroom floor,it was impossible to regulate the hot water, it was either burning hot or cold, and most importantly the terrible smell of the room, couldn't wait to get out of there, didn't have a good nights sleep.

Very good location in central Manchester I would not have booked if I had read the small print - no cancellation, no change in booking allowed, all money paid in advance. Poor value, over eighty pounds a night for room only, no windows, running tap and chipped paintwork opposite the lift

Enjoyable stay. Nice large room. Comfortable bed. No extractor in bathroom, to use when we had showers. Bit cold in the evenings. Had to use an electric heater as could not find out any other sorce. Perhaps could use a bit of tlc. Otherwise fine & would visit again when in manchester,

Location is excellent. Very easy access from the airport with bus 43 or 105 to Piccadilly Gardens. Go to Marriott if you want to stay in the room but if you want to visit easily MOSI or other interesting places, stay here.PRIMARK is just around the corner for those who like shopping. You had to pay for the swimming pool. You had to wait for the lift for a long time because the other one was out of order.

The location is ideal for shopping, bars restaurants, stations etc. Despite looking very comfortable when we initially entered the hotel, it was very disappointing. Customer service was very poor, a number of staff were unprofessional, the heating wasn't working in the bedrooms (during December!) and the response to complaints was very slow.

Location only - right in the heart of the city. Whole hotel was tired, tatty and run down. Seemed to be someone at reception complaining virtually all the time! Our room had been recently decorated, so was ok, The bathroom was very poor, rotten door frame and mould round the sink clearly the bathroom had not been decorated with the room.

Somehow I was led to believe this was a comfortable clean hotel. However I must say this is my worst ever experience of staying at any hotel. We went to the first room, beds not made, bathroom filthy, mould on walls in bathroom, towels all over the floor etc, etc,. Room two - Stank of smoke and mould in bathroom, not what we were expecting! Room three. We accepted this as we had an appointment with family in town. Returned at 10.30pm, my wife flushed the toilet and the water went all over the floor!!! 11-00, after insisting we move from this room, we were eventually taken to some much better quality rooms on the 6th floor. Paying in excess of £120 I would have expected something clean and comfortable. regretablly this was an old hotel that needs an awful lot of money spending on it to bring it any where near the standards we expect. Not an enjoyable experience, and we will NOT be returning.

The hotel staff were great and could do no more for you, but the hotel it self is very tired, needs decorating badly. We were in a superior double room and were very disapointed, we had no heating just an electric fan which wasn't powerful enough for the size of the room, the bathroom had mould all around the bath and when someone upstaires had a shower we had there shower water coming thro the ceiling!

Noise between rooms poor up keep of rooms, especially bathroom, for example sink certainly has some sort of blockage as water drains away very slowly and there must be a leak on the waste pipe as you can hear it pouring onto the floor behind the panelling. The cleaner must see and hear this happening but does nothing about it.
