La cercanía, se encuentra en el centro de manchester.

Necesita una reforma y mucho calor en las habitaciones, el aire acondicionado no hacia nada.

El personal

Las instalaciones son muy antiguas, dolía la espalda con el colchón ya que sobresalían los resortes. Quisimos utilizar el jacuzzi pero luego la tapa no se podía quitar ya que estaba atascada, estaba malo el sistema que la sacaba quedando toda el agua dentro, tuvimos que hacer malabares para poder quitarla definitivamente. El primer día cambiaron las toallas pero no hicieron la cama. Es muy caro para lo que ofrece. También tendrían que decir que la piscina y el gimnasio no están incluidos en el precio. Se deben pagar 2.50 cada día para poder utilizarlos. El hotel es muy caro para lo antigua que son sus instalaciones

Las comodidades de la habitacion. Te y pastas incluidas. Que te permitan fumar en la habitacion.

Location and first impresions of the hotel lobby and reception. Easy access to public transport.

We booked an executive double room for the weekend stay in the city but found that the room that we was allocated was below what would be classed as executive. The laminate flooring in the bathroom was comming apart at the joints, the bedroom door was pourly painted with screws still visable holding the false mouldings to the door. The shower didn't work correctly, lack of water presure and there where visable stains on the bedroom carpet. At 6am there was a 5 second fire alarm call which was not expected. During our stay one of the lifts was not working and on more than one occation we had to take the stairs to the lobby from the 6th floor which was confusing due to having to change stairs on the 4th floor.

Location was fantastic

Poor shower with temperature that varied. Very poor mattress. Would have liked to have seen leisure facilities included in the price.

Friendly staff, both booking in and other reception enquires. Cleaning staff very polite and took the the time to say good morning without patronising. This costs nothing and is a nice, friendly way to start the day.

One minor issue, staff in the gym area not always available, I presume due to other duties. A number of guest, myself included, had to wait to gain entry into the gym on seperate occasions.

Value for money, good quality breakfast. Staff were very helpful

No heat in the bedroom, had to be supplied with fan heater. No private parking facilities.

The hotel was very central for the shops and night life.

My room smelt of stale smoke even though I'd asked for a non-smoking room.

the heating did not work in my room and all i got as an alterntive was a blow heater that broke on the 1st night. the fire alarm also kept going off at irregular times

What I expected

The hotel was in a great hotel - very good for stations and shopping.

The room was very cold upon arrival and was also quite dark - more lighting in the room would have been better. The breakfast was okay but we had to wait for a while before we got served coffee/tea (which were cold) and had to wait to get plates for self-service buffet.
