We had a comfortable nights sleep before flying from Manchester
Cant understand people moaning. This is a decent hotel, with friendly staff .
Staff was excellent !!
Couldn't pick up wifi
the previous week i stayed even though this was not the best place it was clean and gave value for money. This last visit was poor.
It looks as the bed had been changed and that was about all. The fan in the bathroom had dirty fluff round it. The carpet has marks. The worst thing was the bin in the bathroom had dirty sanatary wear in it.The coaches coming and going were running their engines, it sounded as it was outside the bedroom window. Sorry really not impressed whatever the cost it was pretty poor.
The room absolutely stunk of smoke. We were not asked if we wanted a smoking or non smoking room
The shower was good
This hotel is a halfway house for immigrant DHSS Families!! Too many people sitting around corridors etc Rooms poor, not clean, I even had towels left from previous occupants. I left and booked in elsewhere!! Will I reccomend this hotel NO
Friendly welcome, offered a breakfast at a cheaper price than if we had pre-booked it on line. Nice room, very quiet, able to control the level of heating in the room. Spare little milk containers freely available at reception. Freshly cooked buffet meal at tea time. Fantastic value for the price
Tea facilities tasted awful
It gave me all that l wanted
comfy bed quiet very good value and good location too
wi fi connection weak
Partially refurbished, good parking space. Kind staff
I was not able to use my shawer in the barhroom as no electric socket, the carpet old and smelly.
Quiet , comfortable.
I felt I was in an immigration centre and was unable to get anything to eat from the restaurant at 1815 because all the food was gone and the chef said he would not cool any more?
I asked for a smoking room but got a none smoking not bothered anyway I'm not picky:) haha
Convenient value for money and comfortabel
wifi only in reception
Really good value for money. Really did enjoy our stay.
Better wifi connection as we had none during our stay.
Just for a place to stay its cheap , the gym and pool are o.k. The bedding and bed were clean enough but some stains on bathroom door and the whole place is generally shabby and rundown as most Britannia hotels.
Seems to be more like a hostel than a hotel nowadays. A lot of youngish men just hanging about in corridors not even the bar.
The staff had no problem with giving us our money back
There was all mould in our room disgraceful! All the draws we're smashed window would not close TV did not work
Good value for money if you just want a cheap nights stay. Shower was powerful.
Looked like there was particles of drugs still on the side. TV was abit crap (signal/channels ect) Not very clean room. Windows left open and was very cold. water left in kettle was rancid. No coffee or sugar in room
It was clean staff was very nice and in a good location
The wifi was rubbish could not get signal
The rear access into the hotel from the car park is great. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the curtains were thick so the room was dark enough to sleep comfortably.
Unfortunately the shower would not work - the shower was either freezing cold or boiling hot, so we had a cold shower (not a great start to the day).
We felt that the room was not as had been portrayed. We had paid for a deluxe room but that was not what we had. When we complained we were told that all deluxe rooms were the same as room 25.If that was deluxe,I wouldn't like to see a basic room.
There was a fight in the reception. I tried to go down but there was more fighting on the stairs. No toiletries in the room and no heating it was awful. I'd booked a 2 night stay but I left after 1 night. If it hadn't been so late I would of not stayed.
The Food was good And the bed was comfortable
Not getting our room serviced properly each day. like sinks not being cleaned & the room not hoovered. No shelving to place any toiletries in the bathroom. The servicing of the room was a let down & spoilt the overall experience.
Room was clean. For the price was value for money. serve our purpose a bed for the night.
The reception was not manned. When staff did appear no customer service, a smile would have improve experience greatly. Different staff member in the morning again not very professional. The room could be amazing if decorated in a retro style to match the furniture.
The location of the Hotel was ideal for us to visit our Family.
The evening meal was very poor for saying we went into the Dining Room at 7pm there was very little left to eat and what was there was dry,as the heat from the overhead lights was to hot ,it would have been better had the covers been left over the food.
