The hotel unfortunately needs extensive updating, broken items in the room, very small old TV sets - not what I would expect for their rating and the price. |

the hotel was very noisy all night.Als the smoke alarm was going off for no reason.And the hotel lacked any noise discipline what so ever.They had several parties going on,and the mess at the hotel entrance was disguisting! I,m just glad i never paid the full rate,but me and my colleagues should not have to put up with this kind of noise etc,no matter how much we pay.Also i have booked a hotel through you for febuary i just wonder what kind off hotel this will turn out to be! I may yet cancel this booking! All in all we werw very disappointed. |

Nice surroundings and good facilities. Bar area was well set up and very comfortable. Spa and leisure facilities were well equiped. |

We had heard alot of negative comments about the hotel, but our stay was very good, nice bright hotel, lots of facilities.Didn't try the food and we received and upgraded room. The hotel is a fair hike if you want to go into manchester, £15 by taxi on average,saying that Disbury is very nice. The TV had not been tuned for the digital switchover, but there was a sign in reception explaining a problem. |

convenient for the shops. we bookerd a double room but got a twin room.There appeared to be a function going on which was noisy for quite a while.Aso it would be nice to have breakfast incuded in the price.(perhaps a cheaper continental style) |

We had 2 rooms, the twin was execllent but the double was a bit chilly and smelt of smoke See above. We did not book breakfast and we decided to pay £10.50 each which was definitely not worth it for 3 of us. The room was chaotic, a lot of the tables had not been cleared so we sat in the Pizza place after wandering around, there was no tea!! Very disspointing end to a good night's stay. |

Having read the recent reviews of this hotel I was dreading going, however I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was spotless although the furniture was a little battered. Overall the hotel was being refurbished and I can imagine in its' heyday it had been luxurious. The only complaint I would say was the food was very disappointing and not very good value for money. If I were to recommend this hotel to friends and family I would warn them of the pitfalls but stress the room was clean and value for money. |

Nothing. It was terrible The hotel staff were unhelpful. They overbooked our reservartion, and transferred our booking to the airport hotel. On arrival they then booked us into a smoking room which exacerbated my asthma, and were unable to change rooms. No compensation was offered and staff were unsympathetic. The quality of the rooms and service were extremely poor. |

The best thing about the hotel is that it is situated between the airport & city centre. It took at least half an hour to check-in (nothing to do with queues) and there was confusion over our booking which had not been processed and left us waiting at the hotel reception til it all had been put through the system. This was despite us booking in late that evening. Room service was delivered without cutlery and condiments. The room was not particularly clean either. |

Everything was fine save for the mix-up with the booking which was not the fault of the hotel. When we arrived there was no record of the booking I had reserved. If the hotel had been full we would have been unable to stay. I don't believe that we were charged twice as my reservation was just that but it could have ruined our night. |

The bar and leaving. Check on took 45 minutes and even showed the booking on my iPhone, they still couldn't find it. We were finally given 2 rooms in an old part of the hotel and it was in a smoking area and we had booked non smoking. Stains on the Walls in the bedroom (tea/coffee) and hairs on the linen. Only 1 towel in the barroom until we found another in the wardrobe the next morning. We left as soon as we could the next morning. Ok if your desprate or last minute but wouldn't of liked to of paid the rack rate price! |

just spent time in manchester and at the trafford centre single rooms are a bit shabby and in certain areas it is really busy and alot of young groups stay there so it can be a disturbance late at night but it wasn't to expensive so i knew what to expect. |

Well priced & excellent accomodation. Nice bar & the menu had a good variety. The distance from Old Trafford & the city. We tried ringing room sercice but no one answered. |

The reception staff were dismissive and uncommunicative. The room had a wet patch on the carpet that remained the whole weekend and the whole hotel was uncomfortably warm |

On the night we stayed we were kept awake all night by drunks shouting and smoling under our window. The exit door was littered with glass and empy bottles etc and some of the drunks were still there when we left about 4.15 am! |

It was next to the bus stop to Manchester and on a good bus route. Housekeeping disturbing us quite early, the room being like equitorial Africa, being accused of running up a phantom bar bill and a painstakingly slow check-in process, but we didn't pay much so n/m! |
