Cleanliness of communal areas
The hotel was an ideal location for us for visiting family and friends and offered a good rate in view of the fact it was Christmas holiday time.
Some of the car parking areas needed resurfacing badly.
rooms and facilities
Tv tiny Only 6 channels available Needs to be decorated
Highly efficient and friendly staff, excellent value room, bar and restaurant, very comfortable in all areas and very relaxing atmosphere. The perfect place to spend a night before flying out on holiday next day, with cheap airport transfer and car parking provided.
Always stay here the night before our holidays, always book the overnight stay with 15 days car parking excellent value, its just a nice chilled start to our holidays, excellent food and a nice chilled atmosphere in the bar area.
Overall this is a good airport hotel
It feels like the hotel needs updated a bit
Excellent bar area and bar staff, very friendly people, rooms clean but a bit small for us
No wifi in hotel room only in reception and bar area
Been many times but now spoil by poorly trained rude staff will not return
Poorly trained rude staff
Location is good not far from Traford center. Close to restaurants and pubs all within five minute drive. Some of the staff very helpful and went out of their way to give perfect customer service other staff rude and seemed aggrivated when asked for help
did not feel secure in the room. One morning the maid walked in well still in bed even though the do not disturb sign was on the door could have turn out to be quiet embarrasing. The morning that we were checking out with 3 hours left myself and my husband had gone down for breakfast i had forgotton the voucher and had to return to the room only to find the handy man letting himself in. Again i was not happy personal effects were in that room and i could have been in the shower or anything when i told the handy man that he should wait untill we check out he was very rude a swore at me. This is the first this has ever happened and i have visited the Hotel 3 times and enjoyed every other visit on this occasion because of this experience i will not be returning ever again
Not a lot, in fact really disappointed with this hotel and the facilities it provided.
- Bar staff very impolite (actually heard them state at 11:50 pm that they hoped we would leave so they could close the bar at 12:00 pm). - No digital TV in the room - only MONO and only 5 channels available which were all hazy and not watchable - do not think I have ever stayed in a hotel without normal/digital TV channels available - obviously the hotel has never upgraded their rooms to digital TV although there is a large TV in the bar with digital channels. - VERY poor lighting in car park which was dangerous as I was icy and it was completely flooded out in most areas too. - Room was OK but nothing special. - Bed was not very comfortable. - Bathroom had a bath with a Jacuzzi and an overhead fixed wall shower (would have preferred a detachable shower head) and the bath taps (which were not so secure) were in the centre on the outside of the bath so one had to manoeuvre oneself to get in an out of the bath. - the hotel had a lot of Asian men standing around the entrance hall/foyer and sitting around the ground floor of the hotel using their mobile phones (guess this was due to the fact that mobile signal was poor in the rooms) but it gave the impression that the hotel was full of asylum seekers!
location, friendly staff.
bed was awful- really hard
Attitude of staff when told to use stais as lift was broken and they had no idea how long it would take to repair. I told them due to mobility problems I would struggle getting p 2 stairs never mind 4 flights but was not offered a lower floor. My husband took luggage up and we went out of hotel for 4hrs until lift was fixed.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Gym facilities Nice shower Christmas decor
Decor outdated Dust Beetles in room flying about coming in through the vents Cold Someone's european hair in bed
The car park
Not much? Ample parking but busy with airport parking.
Most things but it was well organised for access to Didsbury.
ROOM WAS GOOD ,A GOOD SIZED BATH .ALL CLEAN AND TIDY...AND QUIET.
VERY BUSY CHECK IN WITH TWO COACH LOADS OF PEOPLE QUEING AT THE CHECK IN. THE COACHES PARKED CAUSING IT DIFFICULT TO UNLOAD OUR LUGGAGE ANYWHERE NEAR THE HOTEL ENTRANCE.
We liked the location, and the overall look and feel of the hotel was good.
There were dirty marks on the bed sheets, the toilet was dirty, and the glass in the bathroom was filthy. I was very shocked to find these in such a nice hotel.
car park close to Christies hospital easy to find comfortable beds and pillows fairly quiet location
We enjoyed everything about our stay
The hotel was lovely. In a lovely area.. very classic and the staff to be fair was good. I thought the hotel was very clean and the room was spacious. Very good quality for the price I even had a hot tub in our en suite. Over all good.
We didn't like the fact that it wasn't really near anything we paid 18 pound before any double time or anything to get it Manchester... print works. I wouldn't of been bothered but being told it were only 10 minutes away when i rang them up and it was like 30 mins away really annoyed me. But overall lovely hotel.. clean.. and staff were good. Would come back again but probably just for a quiet weekend away....
food was nice had the sea bass would recommend it that's about it for this hotel you don't get large portions either really is on the small side and at 15 pounds would of expected some thing a little more filling
couldn't get parked we have a disabled badge all parking spaces took by none badge holders told staff the relply in broken English was what can we do??? bed was terrible springs sticking in us all night and found several dark hairs on the sheets to tried to do any thng about would of got the same reply about the car parking no doubt staff jus didn't seem to care about any thing would never stay there again would rather sleep in car and that's saying some thing as im a disabled lady wasn't treated right at all
Handy for Manchester Airport and shuttles worked well. This was sole purpose of our visit so it was satisfactory.
Hotel is a bit jaded.
