The location was excellent. The foyer was welcoming Staff were friendly Room was excellent Everywhere was nice and warm Extra pillows Excellent bathroom facilities

Not real dislikes but suggested possible improvements. TV quite old and no remote Bed mattress a little "too firm" for my wife and I!

Having read previous reviews after I had booked the hotel, I was a little worried. My worries were immediately gone as I booked in, and the friendly receptionist went 'over and above', printing out a map and guide for me to walk to my destination from there. It is very reasonably priced- and everything WAS clean. Should one not expect to pay extra for the gym/pool when you are paying a cheap price room? I think some people's negative reviews have been unfair on this hotel.

The furniture is shabby - but again, you get what you pay for. I am a hardened world traveller, and this was right for price.

free car park, bedroom was comfortable, and shower was excellent. bar is good, didnt have food this time but have before and was good.

room was right above main door and also by doors at start of corridor so was pretty noisy with people coming and going all night, i complained to reception who said i should have reported it when i checked in, well i wasn't trying to sleep when i checked in was i!! i have stayed at this hotel 4 times now and each time had a "noisy" room

Room was like a sauna and the air conditioning unit only blasted out hot air. Room could also do with freshening up. Saying that 3 nights in Manchester fi r under £180 beggars can't b e choosers.

The bar didn't accept cards and the front desk only accepted credit, not debit, cards. The cash machine was broken and the spa was an extra £4 pp despite being told by another member of staff it was £1. The room was outdated and shabby at best

i didnt like having to wait at reception and had to phone to get assistance. i didnt like the lifts u could hardly get in them. i dont like that you have to pay extra to use the pool

Decent quality hotel with good basic italian restaurant and ok bar

Bit rowdy, lots of kids tearing about shouting but it was a busy weekend

Great hotel for the money and comfortable stay.

Walls are very, very thin and no wifi in rooms.

You have to pay to use the pool and gym, you have to pay for a towel too, breakfast is given by voucher if you forget the voucher you have to go back to the room, the breakfast was disgusting . The shower in the room had no pressure what so ever, and no heating in the bathroom

No wifi in room. No choice of meals, just the Carvery which was very average. Not very clean hallways and the hotel is looking rundown since my last visit

Pool and location.

Cleanliness. I had to be moved three times before I had a room that had a usable bath or was not infested with fleas. I took some pictures and will be posting them on the net.

room dusty and had to have bed linen chaned due to blood on sheets and dirty pillows with dark stains. not very hygienic.shower not cleaned properly. dirty towels with blood stains. would recommend pillow protecters on pillows. rooms should be checked prior to being occupied.

We were in Manchester for a family party, we were allocated rooms next to each other. The bar was very accommodating by putting the football on for the men(ESPN) which also stayed open till 3am so we could have an après party drink. The hotel staff ordered taxis for us as we needed people carriers, this was no problem at all. Price, facilities and location were excellent. We stayed only 1 night but managed to use the pool etc, which was a great detox the morning after. Breakfast was fantastic and at a very good price. We will be staying here again next time we visit.

Front desk a bit slow, but it was very busy, so understandable. No dislikes really.
