paid to park my car on arrival. Having moved it later that evening there wasn't any space to park again, for most of the stay.
Usually an hotel that is quiet at night and one can get a good nights sleep
unfortunately there were really noisy guests in the room above us and we did not get any sleep for the three nights stay.We had to call reception during the night,as did other guests. We were glad to get home to have a nights sleep!Do not think we will stay there again
Good value, Mexican lady in bar excellent
Location nice room
breakfast very poor corridors in poor décor needs updating carpet on stairs worn badly
male impolite receptionist parking fee
Great room size lots of space.
Only one bulb working in the bathroom. Bed quite hard but good for money.
Beautiful rooms Quiet Central Easy to book
The position/location was ideal as you could easily walk down to seafront area for pubs/shops etc or along to an area in opposite direction with more bars/eateries. Very friendly, welcoming staff.
Tape on the stairs - not attractive & room smelled of smoke & we do not smoke so had to open all the windows
good location, clean, staff good, didnt eat there but told food was good,,good value, would stay again
bit noisy, but I suppose you have to expect that,,some people just make noise
Everything apart from parking which was a minor issue - overflow in two other local branches
V.comfortable, polite friendly staff, swimming pool, warm cosy rooms
Breakfast let the stay down
Found it welcoming. Room was good, spacious and clean. Both of us stayed for £35 including breakfast. It wasn't The Ritz, but very good value for money. Plenty of parking as well and a pool and sauna if you wished to pay a little extra. Very good location for accessing Bournemouth.
The lifts were very small, although I found them quite amusing. The bed was quite hard, but I still slept well. Decor, paintwork a little tired in places, but hotel was clean.
Location was good for us. On the whole the quality of the stay was good but general decoration of the building was tired. Staff were pleasant and helpful giving good service.
Building needs needs serious upgrade as corners have been cut probably to keep within a budget and this shows. Shame because it detracts from the good feeling of the hotel.
Excellent location, near by beach, good value for money.
Breakfast was very good.
Going to another hotel for breakfast because their restaurant was closed. Hotel needs a facelift looking tired. Bathroom was ok but mould on ceiling in the shower.
The location - very close to the city centre and beach front
The hotel. Staff were very rude and struggled to understand what we were asking for at times.
The location was brilliant. Close to everything. Parking was good.
I think the place needed a make over and a really good referb. The bedroom I got put in was nothing like the pictures I saw online. It was very small, very old TV which had like 3 channels, shower was cold, windows were old and paper thin. Stains all over the carpets. The staff wasn't very welcoming, apart from one of the cleaners. I asked for rooms next to each other but they just said no, wasn't helpful at all.
i liked the lication and staff were.more than friendly but for the price i would have expected a much more up to date hotel so think you need to lower.your prices
the hotel was old and warn
Found out in the morning that the sheets were stained. The bathroom sink didn't drain away/was blocked. The room hadn't been hoovered. In the morning there was no cooked breakfast due to a problem with the gas supply. Parking was down the road in a sister hotel.
stains on carpet. room was hot and stuffy. the bed. noise. bath was tiny.
Room size and condition was good
Even as a guest you still have to pay to use pool
Close to beach
Everything - mould in the bathroom , small old 14" TV, uncomfort bed and linen, dirty and stained carpet, smelly wardrobe, window view facing building services plant, broken air dryer, low quality breakfast like value juices and coffe n sausage , cannot turn off heating before 10pm during hot day etc etc etc
Very good location
- poor cleanliness standards and poor customer service at the reception
The food was good, different every night. The entertainment was ok
Reception welcome Having to keep getting up for water, 3 jugs for the whole restaurant. Thorough check of left behinds in room (hotel can explain)
Rooms were a decent size. We were put in adjacent rooms as requested. Really cheap!
Far too hot! Carpet dirty and badly repaired. Car parking was an issue. Staff weren't rude just not helpful - felt like we were intruding!
