Across from the 19th-century cathedral church of St Barnabas is The Strathdon Hotel. The vast Old Market Square, Nottingham’s historic shopping district, is just a 5-minute walk away.

staff friendly but didn't know the area very well convenient to town centre
terrible mattress, old and shabby furniture, bath and shower curtain need to be renewed, none of our party (4 adults) felt very comfortable at all
Rooms were comfortable, great location, fair price.
Staff were very unprofessional and rude, on several occasions to myself and other guests. Zero customer service. Cleaner only lays the bed, didn't empty bin, or do any other form of tidying up. Staff seem a bit disorganized
Damage room. Dirt. Unfriendly personnel . Damage bathroom .
Just about everything
price was rather steep, no big deal.

close to the castle
Poor reception, with long waiting to be served. Shower was broken, and bathroom smell, the toilet light broken as well. WiFi available just in the reception and restaurant. Overall furniture is old and worn-out in room and in the restaurant.
Sounding proofing not good enough for the location. It is Stag & Hen night hotel.
The whole Hotel is Very Tired, my room was dirty and even had cobwebs. I have a shower every morning but could not bring myself to get into the shower!
The bar area and restaurant looked absolutely lovely and the staff were very friendly
The beds were like concrete as we're the pillows!
Nice clean modern and good views. .
Cant think if anything
Cheap and cheeful Clean bathroom
Very outdated, old fashion The whole hotel looks like it is still in the 1970s
Location, proximity to NCP and town centre, restaurants etc
No wi-fi in rooms
Our television was broken, didn't get sorted even though we had informed reception and was assured it would be dealt with.
Appearance of the hotel on the inside was great.
The hotel messing up my booking and being so rude to end up sending us away with no help or comfort in the fact we were stranded in Nottingham because of a mess up they had made without an apology or further guidance.
Cheap room. Good for somewhere just to stay if visiting overnight. Great location for the city
No lock on bathroom door. Very basic, literally just a place to crash for the night nothing else appealing about it. Tv did not work. Would look for somewhere a little nicer in future.
TV was an obsolete piece! They need changing.
location, close to the city center and the train station confortable bed kind staff, helfull nice view from my room (7th floor)
no Air Conditionning old shower cathodic TV (not flat screen) and poor TV channels, bad TV reception very old carpets very aged hotel, no chair in my room problems with my key
The room was disgusting the double room was two single bed attached together, the mattress was hard and uncomfortable, there was only one pillow, worst hotel experience
location was great
Traffic noise but you can get that anywhere
Food was fantastic both at dinner and breakfast
Noise from guests staying on same floor banging doors till 2 in the morning. Kept me awake and i had a early start day after. I don't know if they was guests or staff not sure but they didnt speak English
Good value for money
fire doors kept me up.
There's no free WIFI in the room.
Quite a tired looking room, but was ok for the one night. Quite noisy during the night, sounded like someone came back a little worse for wear and woke us up.
TV doesn't work Dirty Bad management Door was faulty
