I was room 808. One of the top side room. The graet veiw of Nottingham city from the window for day and night.the room was quait scilent...
1.the door of the bath room is not shuted properly. 2.no microwev oven. 3.no telephone service from the room.and 4.i cant believe that no wifi network in room!!!!!
Two many young individuals in the corridor between 3pm - 6pm. In and out of rooms arguing, talking loud. No consideration for others. More like a knocking shop than an Hotel for decent individuals!
Staff was great
The TV only had 8 channels, it was like being back in 1996 .
Breakfast not included
It looked clean and central in Nottingham.
I arrived at 8.30pm to be told after travelling for two hours that my room had been cancelled due to flooding. I was offered no help in finding another room and no apology was given.
We arrived at the hotel after travelling for an hour only to be told our room was not available because of flooding. Understandably that cannot be helped but we were told it had happened an hour ago so I feel like we should have been informed as soon as it had happened to save us the bother of travelling to then find we had nowhere to stay.
Very basic rooms. Quite old decor. More like student accommodation. No luxury what's so ever!
Reception chap was great
Excellent location near to city centre. Convenient car park.
WiFi only in communal areas. Breakfast poor.
Great central location
The hotel is very tired - needs a lot of updating. Loo was dirty
Staff knowledge of the area was quite poor. They had no idea of where local church was. No complimentary use of an umbrella.
It is located in the nottingham city which i found it very convienient if you want to travel around or search for good food. Its also near to many places of attraction in nottingham.
my view the end.
the moquette the painting in my room (creepy) the heating was NOT working there was hair in the bedsheets.
Room was clean and comfortable, plus the location was very good for the town centre.
The only downside we found was the lack of menu availability for the food and one member of staff who kept us waiting at reception while taking a private call. We were not even looked at let alone acknowledged .
The location was excellant for all attractions in city centre
Room was a bit tired sink had a massive crack in it tiles were dirty carpet was filthy and walls needed a lick of paint, wouldn't like to think i had paid £100 a night to stay there
Great price, fast check-in, really convenient location.
Nothing you can complain about at this price!
GOOD STAFF AND LOCATION
THE ROOM WAS DIRTY, THERE WAS DUST EVERYWHERE, HAIR ON BED TOILET.
Rude staff. Tried calling to ask simple question to which didn't get resolved. Booked two weeks with them and added an extra night. I called to make sure they knew it was the same room. Woman wasn't helpful and had to check out and then check back in later!
Bath had grime around it Was not told where or when breakfast was served so I left hunger even though I had paid for it. Lift did not work Broken lock on room door and the hotel smelt of smoke..
It cost me £150 for the night and to be honest, travelodge and premier inns are nicer. VERY disappointed with the quality
Should have been a twin room wasn't sorted out till midnight
The bed was comfortable. Nice view of the city. The wooden shutters on the windows really kept the morning light out nicely. A fridge is in the room. Town is a two minute walk away. The towels didn’t mirror the carpets!!!!!
I booked four nights, at a cost of 200.00, not a small amount of money, but about average for town. The girl on the desk was polite and engaging. Check in was quick and simple. From there on in, it went down hill. Negatives - Only one of the elevators worked, and it appeared that the hotel seemed happy with that, as there were no repair signs or anyone working on them during my stay. This led to lengthy waits to get to or from the room, which was on the 4th floor. The inside of the elevator was dirty, strewn with carved in graffiti, splintered and chipped woodwork that hadn’t seen varnish in years. The carpets on the corridor were ripped, dirty and threadbare in several places. Everywhere desperately is in need of decorating as paint on literally every surface is chipped, stained or just plain missing. The room door didn’t close or lock properly, requireing manual pushing back of the bolt. The room was tiny! The decor and carpet inside the room mirrored the exterior. The toilet was extremely low, which wasn’t a problem for me, but can imagine that it could be for some. Water delivered from the shower was in such a way that to get wet, you needed to run around the bath!!!! The TV was an old CRT type, only had the five terrestrial channels, was badly tuned in and (I have absolutely no idea how) the picture was at least 5 seconds out of sync with the sound!!!!. No wifi in the room, which for one night might not be a problem, but for four nights, it made doing any work in the room impossible. The heating A/C appeared not to work at all. The cups provided were tiny, Not a great deal of storage. The bar is not open throughout the day, and closed at 10. I took a walk around several floors, looked in a few other rooms and these problems appeared to continue throughout the hotel.
The location was good as I arrived late to Nottingham.
Customer service could have been better. In all aspects from the front desk to the staff in the restaurant. My main concern the cleanliness which was quite off putting. Curtains in room had coffee stains on them. Generally the rooms need updating and the carpet had dark patches. I didn't feel to walk bare foot.
No toothpaste, old tv, room was cold, cleaners waking people up
