The hotel was the best value for money I have experienced . A huge , clean room and a free late checkout till 1 am
TV was a bit dated but worked
Very comfortable spacious rooms in a great location. The young guy on reception was very nice and the check-in was very quick.
I chose this hotel as it was a reasonable price and a short walk from the station. Room was decent and seemed to be clean.
As it was in the city centre, it was quite loud outside with the students going out. The TV also only had a few channels available.
Room ery poorly clean. Bathroom with loads of marks
Clean, good for the money close to town centre
Women at reception was really slow on arrival kept us waiting 10 mins and wasn't really helpful/friendly
we like location, the customer service and the bathroom.
Not enough space in the room, rolling bed with wheels not very normal. faulty chair in the room. the old style television.
The bed is comfortable and the baths fantastic, the view is also good
How temperamental the temperature of the rooms are. It's too cold and the heating doesn't work in the majority of rooms I've stayed in
did not like lots of things
I had a smoking room when I wanted a non smoking. The tissue were very thin. Old facilities
Everything is ok
Beds and carpets
The beds are always comfy and fresh. Don't hear much noise from other guests. The rooms decor is inviting.
Rooms are cold majority of time. TV reception isn't great. Few more smiles on reception would be nice too x
The bed was comfortable & the hotel was in a good location
Lights fused in room. Phone didn't work. Shower either freezing or scalding. Locked out of room. Staff unhelpful & rude & use your toilet while your out!! Only one working lift & stairs not clearly labelled.
Bed comfy, staff friendly and helpful. Linen clean.
Décor is tired and tatty. Water doesn't drain down plug holes properly, hence a shower bath! Air vent above shower filthy. The police checking whether there were likely to be problems when we checked in probably didn't give the best impression! Breakfast that was there was good but fairly basic. No yoghurts or pastries and few cereals to choose from.
TV is too small.
No wifi, window couldn't be opened and the room had a weird smell before check in
Clean hotel and friendly staff good location for city
Just the bed was to firm every thing else was good
Room was spacious, bed was comfy and had everything you needed and so close to town.
The fan was going off all night and was loud so didn't get any sleep
Very good location, friendly reception staff
Carpets filthy and the whole hotel is in serious need of renovation
The location was fab
The smell of smoke and the general run down of the hotel needs a lot of money spending on it I loved Nottingham but unless there are major improvements to this hotel I will not be back I will stay elsewhere
Location to city centre
No shower in room dust on top of fridge leaking pipe in hallway all weekend.
Not a great deal...
If I had to stay in Nottingham again it would never be at this hotel, the pictures were lined with dust, as was the windowsill and desk. In the bathroom the showerhead was hanging off the tiles and the toilet had been subject to a dodgy diy job as it was being held up by some filler and what looked like a plastic lid of some kind, on entering the room all you could smell was the distinctive stench of bleach which would insinuate that the place was clean but no, the mirror was horrifically stained and there were long hairs in the sink. You definitely get a cheap room for a cheap price, I wouldn't recommend it.
Receptionist friendly on the phone beforehand and helpful as i booked one room some time after first. When we got there she made sure our rooms were near and spent time putting us on a higher floor so that we wouldnt be disturbed by groups of young men booked into hotel. The beds were double and in the twin room we both had a bathroom which was great. Convenient position for visiting uni of trent.
There was only one lift and it took a long time to come.
amazing view, had everything you needed
not overly clean but clean enough
Location of hotel as this was within easy walking distance of restaurants/bars and the cinema.
Decor of room seemed a little tired and at least one room towel was not thoroughly clean probably from previous wash and the bath needs regrouting and new sealant. Being told that our car park ticket would be stamped in the morning but no mention at the reception desk the next morning that the stamp only reduced the price of the parking ticket which we deduced when reaching the exit gate of the car park and then needed to return to reception to find out how to exit. Please make it much clearer to guests that the cost of parking is only reduced or add it to the price for the overnight stay.
Great location close to the center of Nottingham, great price if booked a week in advance and not a weekend.
The place is run-down and needs a full over-haul of carpets, curtains and communal areas. Only 1 lift ever works - not a problem unless you are checking out at the same time as the coach parties. Full of stag and hen parties at the weekend and coach parties of retired people during the week. I've never tried the food so couldn't comment
