Having to leave !
What wasn't there to like ,it's a beautiful place to stay .
Nice Comfortable Bed!!!!
Mostly Everything!!! Especially the poor Customer service ..
The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room really had the Wow factor! Very spacious and relaxing with a huge comfy bed. Would recommend to friends and family!
We liked the location, the friendliness of the staff. Breakfast was great and we even could play football there....
The room - clean, comfortable, stylish. The shared garden outside, sitting in the sun, breakfast (delicious) in the room, seclusion, quiet, location.
I wasn't in a rush but if I had been, breakfast arrived a lot later than requested and I'd have had to go without. WiFi code in handbook in room did not work. Breakfast table had to be prepared from in room equipment which was a bit disruptive given the time delay in service. Better for it all to arrive on trays.
It was lovely, very friendly familystaff. Breakfast in the room all being served on a table with a white cloth so besutiful. It tadted delicious.
wonderful rooms, delicious breakfast, friendly staff
privacy lacking a bit (when walking around the lovely courtyard you keep peaking into other peoples rooms)
The young man who met and greeted us and took us to our room was extremely pleasant and polite.
Driving down the country lane late at night was quote scary.
Great place to stay with kids! Breakfast was extensive and delicious. The kids loved seeing the animals and playing with other guests in the evenings.
Everything, would recommend it anytime. Awesome breakfast served in your own room included and great staff.
We had a slight problem with the wifi first due to the 300 years old walls, but the staff fixed it immediately by changing the location of the router :)
Accommodation was comfortable and level of service was good.
There was a woman that we believe was the owner had a poor attitude and was unnecessarily rude to us on one day, which we took exception too and as a result tarnished our on what had been a lovely stay. However, all other staff were very friendly.
Breakfast - v good
Fittings and finish - felt tired
HELEN THE OWNER MAKES IT HER BUSINESS TO LOOK AFTER YOUR NEEDS EVEN THOUGH SHE IS CLEARLY A VERY BUSY PERSON
Very relaxing stay
My wife & daughter stayed overnight during a Spa break at nearby Bath. Excellent report back regarding their stay. In particular the service by the Staff who organised an evening meal booking at the nearby Hare & Hounds again an excellent venue with superb views.
Beautiful place. We would go back. My only 2 comments would be, even for 2 people get a bigger room than standard. There is little room and no place to lounge except outside. There is no indoor communal sitting area. 2) breakfast is fabulous, however you must go into Bath for the majority of restaurants and if you don't like driving the very narrow roads it can be problematic. Be sure to bring your wine, water, snacks as well.
No indoor lounge area because the stand room didn't provide us with a sitting area, and breakfast in your room, while a treat, is very cramped. We had 3 suitcase and it was tight.
We celebrated our anniversary here. Beautiful setting and very peaceful, with Bath only a short drive away. From the initial phone call enquiry and throughout our stay, the owners were very accommodating, yet un-intrusive and helpful with a warm reception and service. The accommodations are lovingly modernised with attention to detail yet keeping the feel of the 'old' house. The master suite was beautiful with every detail catered for so there was no need to ask for extra of anything. The breakfast served to our room was an added treat and for my partner who is vegetarian, the usual awkwardness of finding there is not a comparative option on the menu was offered a 'full' vegetarian choice. I would fully recommend every aspect of Britten's Farm and thank the owners for making our stay perfect in every way.
Dan was extremely helpful and cheerful young man who made us feel very welcome. No request was too much.
One of our bath robes was faulty and whilst Dan went to change it we never received another one. Having said that the estate was preparing for a large wedding and this did not hinder our stay.
The children loved the play area. We stayed in the hay barn and it was great. Lovely modern decor and very picturesque surroundings.Very pleasant patio area. Very helpful staff and lovely breakfast served to us in our room , which was fantastic. Great to have a fridge and sky tv in the room too. We would definitely recommend it.
Even though it was great to have 2 rooms, the lounge area where the kids stayed on the sofa bed, had a skylight, which would have meant a very early start to the day. We managed to wedge a cushion into it, which blocked most of the light out. Wi-fi was not very good.
Personal service and all request managed with minimum effort. Facilities excellent food perfect. Would highly recommend this location.
The room was bright and spacious a comfortable bed with a seperate place to watch tv or relax
