I've stayed in many hotels/b&b's in the past and I have never met such fiendly and helpful owners as Janette and Brian. After our warm welcome we instantly felt at home and had a very relaxing weekend. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice en-suite so ideal for couples. The breakfast was also very nice with plenty to choose from. If I ever went back to Windermere, I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else as this has everything you need.

The owners were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The whole place was spotlessly clean, with good quality bedding and toiletries. The breakfast was exceptional.

We really enjoyed living there. The location is pretty good- 2mins to town centre and 30mins to Bowness. Traffic to other towns are also so convinient. Enthusiastic and helpful are two words that I want to say.

Janette and Brian were very friendly and caring. My travel mate and I had a great time chatting with them and we did enjoy it as we loved to know new friends an their life. The location is great, with lovely room and well kept. Janette prepared the great English breakfast we ever had. I will definitely strongly recommend this place for those who are looking for a cosy place to stay in Windermere.

I think I'm very lucky to stay in here. Especially the hosts, Janette and Brian, are very kind and nice. Thanks to them, I could enjoy my holiday in Windermere comfortably. It was first time for me to visit Windermere, and I was able to make valuable memories with their help. I hope to visit and meet them again someday :)

The hosts were very friendly, we had a lovely stay, and the breakfast was great - especially the fresh fruit salad!

The hosts were wonderful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I had a great night's sleep.

Everything was great except at breakfast the toast was a little cold and burnt, but the rest of breakfast and the selection of fruit, museli, teas, and poached eggs were great. I got extra toast with the eggs so the cold burnt toast didn't matter anyway.

One of the best 'staycations' I've ever had.The property was clean and very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. However, it was the service that really made my stay memorable. Brian and Janette were warm, welcoming, engaging and attentive hosts. They are definitely in the right business. I can't wait to go back!

The owners were extremely friendly and comforting. They made us feel very welcome and were always there to help. Their breakfast in a morning was excellent and there was something for everyone. The rooms were clean and cosey and the location was perfect for us. I will definatly be going back there next year in the spring, cannot fault it at all!!

This is a wonderful B&B! The hosts, Janette & Brian, are friendly & welcoming. The rooms are lovely & the breakfasts are terrific. You can walk from the station & it is easy to access other public transport & tours to explore the Lake District. I have stayed here before & was very impressed both times.
