Everything in the room is standard but ok. My single room was tiny, the tv was not easily operated (no proper instruction) but I guess you can't expect more for the price. The key is the owner. Sometimes I feel he tries to be helpful by giving enough information to customers and serving a very nice breakfast... but then he can be a bit 'funny' as well. Probably it's just in his character but this should never happen (please read below). Yes, the owner was not professionally trained to let his guest stay until the check out time. I was basically 'kicked out' from my room before 10 am to let his cleaner clean up the room! I think this shows that you do not respect, nor trust your customer enough. Perhaps he was worried that the cleaner will be left with nothing to do (waste of his money, then) since I was the only guest at the hotel that day or worried that I won't check myself out on time. A bit disappointing overall, because it started well when he served me a nice breakfast beforehand and ended up with me being a bit angry. |

The hotel was a very short walking distance of the town centre, making visits for shopping or evening meals quick and straightforward. Positioned next to a park, the hotel was relatively quiet. |

Comfortable; friendly, helpful reception; reasonable price; good breakfast; convenient situation: five minutes walk downhill to town centre, ten minutes uphill back, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. Television reception very poor, but they tell me they are in the middle of the changeover to digital so this may improve. |

very friendly and great location for shopping, eating and exploring area decor a bit dated, and it wouldn't hurt to pull out the bedside tables and have a hoover... |

Good location for Falmouth. The owner was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. Lounge area nice and liked the comfy conservatory where walkers could remove shoes/boots before formally entering hotel. Could do with some maintenance - damp patches in bedroom and bathroom ceiling above the shower. Although had freeview most channels not working and picture quality of the one station we could get was not good. |

The owner took every care to see that we did not want for anything. Supplied and evening meal although we were the only couple to do so. Nothing was yoo much bother and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Falmouth. Nothing at all and if there were, I am sure that the owner would rectify the problem immmediately |

Friendliness of the owner, and a willingness to provide what we required at all times. Shower could do with regulating on the supply of hot water. That was the only thing that we did not enjoy. |

Very good value , huge comfortable bed, very handy to the centre of falmouth with its 30 restaurants to choose from. I recomend this Hotel to any of my friends. The out side of the hotel is looking tired this would have put me off staying if I had not booked but the in side is spotless and staff so helpfull. |

Convenient location for town centre and park. Easy access to main road for travel to other towns/cities. Uncomfortable beds, lack of handrail on parts of stairs, poor service at breakfast, weak coffee! |

Very good location opposite lovely gardens.Very good breakfast. Our hotel room was in the attic and only had a bath and twin beds and was very small for the rate paid. We were moved next day to a double, still in the attic but much better with shower. Rate for this room was acceptable. |
