Breakfast - delicious
the windows need some nets or blinds a it wagon the ground floor and people walked past and looked in!
Nice twin room on ground floor with door to outside. Very quiet and pleasant with good breakfast.
the bathroom had not been cleaned properly, hair on the floor and the toilet bowl had loo cleaner poured into it but still had "signs" of the previous guests.
Ground floor room.
Excellent food and facilities
No mobile signal.
Nice area, nice grounds good breakfast although slow service
The quality of the food both at dinner and at breakfast was excellent. The staff were smiling and seemed happy.
No 'phone signal although the hotel does warn you about this in their information pack. The hotel lacked a little atmosphere, it seemed very quiet and deserted at times always having to ring the bell in reception for someone to appear.
View, food, staff, cost, easy to find,
No wifi in our room
View, nice big room, peaceful surroundings, fabulous breakfast, good value for money, friendly & helpfully staff
We found the bed was (surprisingly) really hard. But everything else perfect.
Very peaceful, spacious rooms and excellent choice of breakfast with high quality ingredients
A little way from Laugharne
The hotel is in an elevated spot with lovely views. The rooms were nice, clean and adequate.
Waitress was pleasant but not around unless delivering our cooked breakfast, even though there was only 3 tables being served. Would have been nice once seated to have been told where tea and coffee facilities were and to help ourselves as it was taken for granted we knew where this was and we didn't. Yoghurts, juices and cereal on a table but not kept chilled - warm yoghurt is never good!
Lovely welcoming staff with no issue that we arrived early..shown straight to our room which was very clean and fresh.. great view from the room and could step straight outside through the patio doors..very private and cosy. Brilliant place to stay to unwind. Excellent breakfast and good service all round. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
The food was very good.
A net curtain at main window as it was too hot to have curtain closed and window was on main pathway on ground floor. A choice of pillow would be good. Too soft for my husband
The grounds/views are brilliant. Everything is on the ground and so no stairs. The room and quality and fittings are up there and you can come and go with ease through french doors. Friendly and helpful staff too. We spent two nights but wish we had stayed longer here than at another we booked further up the coast. You will not be disappointed here !
Very comfortable, great food..very welcoming staff
Not enough time to enjoy the scenery and ambiance!!!
Excellent rural location away from main roads, giving a quiet stay with lovely view from front garden. Attentive and polite staff. (Top marks for staff training) Excellent dinner & breakfast. Pendine Sands nearby.
Bathroom illumination on the dim side.
FROM THE OUTSIDE,THE HOTEL LOOKE FAB,THE BREAKFAST WAS OK BUT NOT A GREAT SELECTION OF CEREAL
WHEN YOU GOT INSIDE,IT WAS VERY POOR FOR THE PRICE.NEEDED DECORATING.THE BEDROOM DECO WAS VERY POOR ,LOOKED LIKE IT HAVING BEEN PAINTED FOR YEARS,CRACKED SMOKE DETECTOR WAS CREAM AND I WONDERED IF IT WORKED.THE BED SEEMED LIKE A WHALE HAD SLEPT IN IT,DIP IN MIDDLE AND UNCOMFORTABLE,NOT A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP.GLAD WE ONLY BOOKED ONE NIGHT AND WILL NOT RETURN.
Family suite had separate rooms, provided bottled water in room, bed was comfortable, lovely view, quiet location
Would be nice to have residents lounge. No door hooks in bathroom. Clothes hangers poor - pack of wooden ones relatively cheap to buy.
We had the biggest room! Luxury space also for extra baby bed and our dog. Amazing view to the see. Beautyful ground or better park. Very frindly owners and staff. Quit relaxing peaceful place to enjoy. Good welsh breakfast.
A real gem - a great small hotel in a beautiful location, with the most charming and helpful Staff, who consistently went out of their way to help and inform.
All good great location.
Noise of toilets flushing in other rooms, VERY NOISY.
Location was absolutely superb. The rooms were clean, comfortable and of excellent taste. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fab. We will certainly return when we are next in the area.
Friendly, helpful reception which continued throughout our stay.the food was excellent.
The ONLY criticism, and it feels almost petty - we would have preferred larger bath towels
Good Sized Rooms Friendly Staff
Breakfast served late (no staff on site till 9:20)
