Staff were excellent and very helpful indeed. Very nice location.
Restaurant very nice but a little pricey.
Service was second to none with nothing too much. Fantastic food and so relaxing I wish we could have stayed longer. Go, visit, enjoy. You wi not be disappointed.
Our weekend break was too short at four days!
Pure bliss, the room we were allocated was such a relaxing, comfortable, clean room...the food was out of this world, and we will for sure come back. loved it a lot. it's a wonderful hotel, with the staff very friendly and accommodating..well done
there was not anything we did not like...
Everything about this hotel was perfect
We liked everything the food was the best quality, staff attentive without being annoying and helpful and informative. We stayed for my wife's birthday and we given a free room upgrade and they managed to get at short notice a superb bouquet of flowers placed in our room, everything was excellent and will be staying again in the Spring.
Cannot think of anything apart from the room being a little too hot for our liking but eventually managed to open a couple of widows so no real moan.
Extremely well decorated and maintained accommodation. Staff very helpful and the attention to detail is a key strength to this hotel's success. First rate breakfasts and evening meal. Attractive grounds.
Both my husband and I enjoyed our sejour in this excellent hotel. We found the welcoming manner of the young staff excellent thoroughout, from the front desk to the young men and women who waited on us to be of a very high standard and congratulate the management for having such a team. The morning breakfast manager was of a very high quality and it showed. The room we had was very clean and of an excellent proportion. The grounds were a joy to walk around and well maintained. I would recommend without hesitation this hotel to all our friends. Please keep it wrap up as is, and do not change it to the modern style, noisy and loud.
*Service was great - warm & professional * Rooms were excellent * Food was tasty & well presented * Private dining room was beautiful * Proximity to The Swan Inn who serve an excellent pint of Bathams!
Non-ironed bathroom robes That was the only tiny fault and I am usually very picky!
First class service not experienced in a UK hotel for some time. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff especially when we returned from a party at 1pm requesting tea, toast and sandwiches.
Having to pre book afternoon tea.
This is the second time we have stayed here and it lived up to our high expectations. Next time we will treat ourselves to dinner in the restaurant
Bar staff were a bit short staffed to cope with demand at times.
Staff very friendly and helpful Service excellent especially the many small touches that made the stay really special
Staff were he very courteous, very lovely hotel!
That we did not stay longer!
Friendly staff. Quiet location. Excellent breakfast
An amazing hotel, in beautiful surroundings. Our room was fantastic and the attention to detail spot on........we even loved the herbal teas laid out on our late return and the room had been prepared for night time......curtains drawn, bed covers turned down , ;lamps switched on , fabulous! As for breakfast....yum, yum!! We loved it and hope to return soon.
When the reception called us a taxi it was from Kidderminster so they tried to charge us £18 for a 4 mile trip.
Lovely hotel, room was great, staff were very helpful and polite, beautiful surroundings. Would definately stay here again if in the area.
The welcome was lovely. All the staff were attentive without being over bearing. The room was nicely presented. Loved the choice of teas and refreshing to have real milk in the fridge xxx Our meals were scrumptious. Think it is fair to say we enjoyed our short visit enormously. Thank you
All round excellent including grounds! A gem for the traveler.
The location is lovely with beautiful walks in the area. The staff are super friendly The rooms are quiet and the grounds are just beautiful. The chef, Adam a Brown always has a wonderful menu
The mattress seemed a bit hard in the room we were in this time.
Staff were friendly and helpful and all the little things were there without having to be asked for
The moment we arrived at the car park a member of staff came out to help with our luggage and that level of service continued throughout our one night stay.
Wi-fi connection in our room was not very good
fantastic attention to detail, v high quality room, restaurant service as good as i've experienced, superb stay, will go back
Fantastic attention to detail and they thought of everything. Loved the nighttime room preparation whilst we were at dinner - everything we'd used was replenished and chamomile tea left waiting for us. Really comfortable beds and no corridor noise. Super breakfast. Luxury at good price.
Attention to detail every step of the way. 'Taster' menu sublime with a fantastic 'flight of wines'. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Our room was upgraded on arrival. Beautifully appointed rooms. Lovely location. Bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. Pre-stay form was carried out to the letter- and beyond! When leaving for a long journey home, was asked, 'Can I offer you refreshments for your journey?'
I have nothing negative to say about this wonderful country house hotel.
peace- breakfast and the excellent Swan pub in the village
the noisy geese early in the morning - but that's country living
