Staff were nice. Everything, besides the staff, it was a very very tired old place that was a tired old place back in 1996, when I last stayed there. Will be staying at DeVeres-Sunninghill from now on.

I enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar. Quite a few locals pop in and are very friendly - they make you feel welcome. The staff are very friendly and look after their guests, we got free chips with mayo and tomato ketchup! Can't think of anything negative.

We liked the comfort, cleanliness and friendliness. It was also peaceful. Ideal for our needs if we visit Ascot. Would certainly stay there again.

Very quaint hotel. Stayed in an outside annexe so very private. Shower a bit dodgy and whirlpool needed a good clean but overall comfy and suited our needs.

Warm friendly people - Thank goodness when I cause controversy wherever I go. I felt at home immediately and the Proprietor, a very caring lady. The location was brilliant for my needs - ASCOT - I would most definitely stay again. Thank you to everybody who assisted Jean Ashdown-Coates. Scared of the dark so if I am back in winter wll park my car nearer the front.Not really a complaint.

lThe person who welcame us recommended a nice pub for dinner and booked a table for the two of us. The pub was very welcoming and the food was excellent and not far from the hotel. We appreciated this service. The hotel was calm and we liked the place which looks like a family home.

It was very comfortable and convenient. It was good to have the option of a substantial but healthy breakfast. It would have been nice to have complementary spring water in the rooms.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. Quiet location but just where we needed to be for easy journey to Eton Dorney for Olympic rowing event. We were surprised that no food was available apart from breakfast and bar snacks.

The staff were friendly I was supposed to be staying in an 'executive room'. It was a back annexe. The decor was appalling. Holes in the wall where sockets should be. Holes in the lace curtains. The furniture looked like is belonged on someone's patio. You needed to be a gymnast to use the bathroom is was so small. The carpet was dirty. I did not stay for breakfast.

Hotel was close to Ascot racecourse where we were working, Friendly staff and gorgeous location, very green and leafy. Loads of free and safe parking. Had to drive if you need anything from shop/pub/ restaurants ect.

Friendly and helpfulness of hotel staff. Clean and comfortable beds. Very good continental breakfast. Location. Value for money. Our room was quite tired and worn. If this aspect was addressed the hotel would be a really excellent choice for those wishing to stay in Ascot. Do not let this put you off staying, as the staff and cleanliness of the hotel make up for this. My wife and I would certainly stay again.

It is friendly and clean. Beds are comfortable. No noise from other rooms toilets and running water. For front rooms secondary or double glazing would be an advantage. There is a noise something like Indian drums, could be a noise from the heating boiler maybe? A bit annoying at night.
