Bed was comfortable,room was clean.
Room was the smallest I have ever stayed in and poorly played out. The wardrobe was right beside of the bathroom and as the room was so small you had to squeeze past it. We were also put in a front facing room which overlooked the car park and it became very noisy as people were coming and going and going out for a cigarette. The room was sufficient for what we needed it for but as no breakfast was included in the high price thought it was overpriced for what you got. Wouldn't stay there again, would probably choose the Travelodge which is closer to the centre and station, you also had breakfast included for same price. It was fully booked when we tried.
The duty manager was quick to move me from a first floor bedroom, which was directly above a party, with disco.
I was moved from one noisy bedroom (above a disco), to a bedroom in which the side of the lift shaft projected into the room. Here, I was woken by the mechanical noise of the lift moving up and down all night long.
clean, warm bedroom
Breakfast was great. Service was friendly
It was noisy at night. This could have been due to Xmas parties and people coming to be exceedingly late - 4am so banging doors and taling at that time is a dsitraction
The breakfast was good.
the room we had was very small. The ensuite was tiny. There is no iron or board. no mini bar. The room service sandwiches seemed to be stale and were awful.
I was attending a wedding at the hotel. The price of the room made it cheaper than getting a cab and much more relaxing.
The staff were fantastic. Especially the staff in the evening restaurant. Very enjoyable stay. Would definitely book it again and recommend to family and friends
No faults really. Rooms a little small, but comfortable enough
Good location, clean and quiet.
Situated on a residential street, so not obvious to find.
when booking asked if we wanted quiet room and said yes - up until midnight loud thumping music played, do in restautant so couldn't use and drunks in corridor by us after midnight until 2 am not knowing which room they were in, would not recommend to anyone
comfortable clean hotel
Mobile telephone issues, network either no signal or very busy?
Great location quiet and comfortable
Not able to book a room at the front desk, no included breakfast. Extra 20 GBP?? for 2
Beds :) very comfy
Bathroom ... Shower disappointing, needs modernising
Polite staff friendly helpful and lovely well presented meals...
Clean rooms comfy bed polite staff (some)
One rude member of staff
Location & quiet
Hotel looks tired & in need of redecoration in bedrooms. Heating in bedroom was poor.
Bedroom very comfortable and very clean. Staff in restaurant very polite.
Reception staff was unable to give correct information when booking in. Charged the wrong prices when ordering drinks.
lovely gardens, good parking,
Prices have recently gone up hugely , now too expensive for what you get. Noisy at weekends.rooms rather small , no fridge in rooms ..rooms in older part not suitable for the elderly as many stairs and no lift . dining area used to be lovely, now stark with awful music ,less breakfast choices than before.
Room service until 9.45pm
The poor english of staff adversely affected their effectiveness at the job, making check in and check out incredibly slow, and being unable to understand my directions over the phone when trying to book a taxi since I was stranded in the dark alone having undergone a very frightening walk through a park with low phone battery - I was not comforted by the staff who didn't seem to understand the difficulty of my situation. Location is difficult to get to from the nearest station (Ravensbourne) as it is through a park and up a gravelly hill - not ideal if, like me, you are a solo female traveller with luggage travelling late at night. There is a lift, but to get to some of the rooms there are four extra sets of stairs to traverse before you reach your room, around 30 of them - I was not warned of this upon check in, despite having a heavy suitcase with me and being put in one of these rooms. No one offered to help me with my luggage or show me to my room.
Everything except the food.
Poor quality food
Good breakfasts. Reasonable dinners.
There were no grab-rails in the bathroom for those who need them either to get out of the bath or to steady themselves. I could not use the bath. Their provision should be a priority. The shelving in the bathroom was inadequate.
Too many stairs. Our room (335) was practically inaccessible by lift.
The general manner of the staff (initial reception excepted)
I have no adverse comment except for the initial reception where our appearance was completely ignored by the male receptionist engaged on the telephone. The subsequent process of registration was interrupted and consequently prolonged by 2 further telephone calls
Louise serviced our room, it was clean and tidy. The location was very good, as family was only a short drive away. The room had air con but a bit on the small size for a double but it was fine for us as we were only staying 1 night Rm101.
The bed had a dip in it and overall wasn't very comfortable. The Male receptionist on checking was helpful but the other Male Receptionist wasn't very approachable on checkout, it was like he didn't want to be there. Their was no Good Morning, How was your stay or even goodbye. I think he needs to go on a refreshers course to show how to interact with the public.
the walls were very thin and every noise woke us up, i think we had a boiler in our room too which meant we had a very poor sleep.
