That we had to go shower/bath system

The bed was hard, pillows were like bricks. There was no extra blanket. Wardrobe was tiny, overall v shabby. We specifically requested a quiet room but were placed above the main entrance, v noisy! Walls are paper thin. Could hear EVERYTHING from neighbouring room. Children arguing in te corridor at 7.15 Saturday morning. Shall I go on?

I liked everything apart from the lights coming through the curtain when it was drawn. Apart from that it was all lovely and clean.

I didn't like the fact that even thou the curtains were drawn light was still coming through. I wanted a lay in but it was impossible to.

Staff were very friendly and rustled up food for us even though we did not arrive until shortly before 10.00pm.

No teaspoons in bedroom catering supplies meant it was difficult to make tea properly and impossible if we had taken sugar.

service at dinner was excellent,staff very welcoming,food very good value. rooms tidy and clean.

not having bar open in reception area sunday afternoon.having said that we were waited on by staff.

Restaurant food was very good and staff were excellent, friendly and extremely helpful.

The service the staff were very pleasant. The restaurant is good. Rooms were comfortable.

Some of the furniture in the hotel is in need of attention. Arms came out the sockets. My case stand disintegrated because the screws were loose. Small irritations.

Price of the breakfast

Spacious, clean room. Very helpful staff. Good 24-hour room service menu. Nice and quiet.

There was only semi-skimmed milk for breakfast - no wholemilk - and it was not cold, more like tepid. A small niggle but makes a difference when digging into your bowl of cereal.

Shower was a apalling. Breakfast was cheap and greasy for over £10.

The breakfast was very good.

The room decor was not great by any means. The first room we were put in had a faulty door lo k and could not be liked from the inside or the outside.

The 'buffet' style English Breakfast was well cooked.

We booked in late after going to a wedding and so perhaps it wasn't fair to expect the reception staff to be too enthusiastic at 00.45 but it was very downbeat. At breakfast we were shown to a table . . . . . and that was it. Nobody told us where anything was, nobody took our order for tea or coffee, we were just left to work it all out and then call a waiter over to ask for hot drinks. I picked up a box of cereals and discovered they were 2 months out of date, that was disappointing.

Staff were v. Good and the place was clean and comfortable

Restaurant menu really over priced and the food was at best ok.

I thought that the public rooms were fine. Staff very helpful.A board was put inder the mattress and a different bathmat provided
