Score from 98 reviews Very good
Satay friendly, offered an upgrade to a suite for no extra costs, room really spacious, clean and huge bathroom The spa was lovely, clean and warm, the staff really helpful
very comfy bed, very clean, nice powerful shower, nice breakfast selection.
Room was very small but everything in it was lovely just not much space to move around! Breakfast was very nice but service was slow and room was soooo hot!
Shower did not work.
We were very pleased with our stay, the location was very good as we were going to a wedding near by. The staff are all very friendly & helpful. There was plenty of selection of food for breakfast. I would definitely recommend the Sunday lunch.
Air conditioning Pool Cleanliness of room
Breakfast price per person
Breakfast was good
Evening meal was disappointing
Convenient location for overnight stay travelling Cumbria to Devon.
1) Smallish dark bedroom. 2) Noise until 1am from wedding reception in separate building of hotel. 3) For amount charged poor value compared with privately owned hotels. It provides good leisure facilities etc but we did not want nor used them.
When I made the booking it was for one double room and one twin, but on checking on was told there was no twins available and so was given a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. Was not impressed as my children are 19 and 17 and I didn't book a sofa bed as I didnt feel it was suitable. Not happy.
Close to Bromsgrove town centre Free parking Good value for money Friendly staff Clean and tidy Mini bar
Hot water was not working on bath taps but did work through shower so wasn't too bothered
We were so impressed with our stay here. I asked for a quiet room which we got, it was spotlessly clean, easy parking, easy everything ! 10 out of 10 from us.
The hotel was clean and spacious. The surrounding grounds were well maintained and the overall image was good. The hotel served a reasonable range of food and drinks.
Shortly after arrival at 13:00, I notified receiption about faulty air conditioning. It was eventually confirmed about 20:00 that there was a fault on the entire corridor which reception did not know about. I was offered a room change but sorry - not at 8pm. Also breakfast was shabby - not a single hash brown was intact - everything was very tasty and fresh but poorly presented.
Friendly and helpful staff always polite would recommend to friends and family . I would definitely stay again .
Very clean lovely hotel, staff were very friendly and the hotel hsd good areas to relax in. Breakfast very good and room large and clean. Great location close to Severn Valley Railway.
Chose of menu at Dinner was very limited and no chose of the bar menu in the restaurant.
We liked the room and the spa
we did not like the food, it was very poor so that made it expensive, we did make our feelings known to a member of staff, we were told that the kitchen staff were still training! we questioned further and were told that the hotel was in administration then the young lady apologised and walked away, so we will not be returning.
We were attending a show at the NEC and the hotel was not too far away. The staff were friendly and helpful and access to wi-fi was really good.
We ate in the restaurant in the evening but the food was nothing special. They served frozen raspberries in one of the desserts.
the room did not fit the description on the booking website. the rom was supposed to be deluxe. it has no chaise longue as deescribed, just a chair and the window was very small so it was not well lit.
Friendly, quiet , even though hotel was full.
Narrow corridors and small rooms- makes you feel a bit claustrophobic!
Pretty good rate including breakfast.
Room was very small for a double with a small bed. Decor pretty dated and tired.
convenient had everything we were looking for
the bread at breakfast had mold on it , l informed the staff who apologised but nothing more was done about it.
Hotel old and tatty. Paid upgrade for deluxe room. Room small and basic and poo all over the toilet seat....
Staff were very accommodating, looked after residents within the hotel. Pool area was great for a relax after an evening function the night before. Very clean, very well kept. Great facilities. Highly reccommend staying there.
We arrived tired at 9pm and were given room102.If it had not been late and we were tired we would have rejected this room. It is in the basement in an airless corner and an extremely small room for 2 people. It is by far the worst room I have ever had in an ICG hotel. The room was also not up to an acceptable standard of cleanliness.I informed reception staff on leaving who weren't particularly interested.
Staff were polite and welcoming and the room was superb
Town was local
