Bron Eifion Country House Hotel  

Staff very welcoming and friendly, made us feel as if we were the only guest's there.(In fact very busy & Mid week) We had a Deluxe Room which was beautiful. We have book again for my mothers 84th Birthday Lunch.

I am an attention to detail person and the only faults i could see was that some of the mirrors where smeared, although they are very large and i imagine difficult to do. Also ring marks on Marble topped coffee table in sitting room.

Food and surrounding

Staff was extremely helpful, particularly the manager / receptionist! Thank you! It is great that the hotel is small, thus feels very cosy.

Food in the restaurant was very average, which was rather dissapointing as they have all these rosettes...

Friendly and helpful staff , a warm welcome and a warm fire on a January night.

To say didn't like is perhaps being to critical , i would prefer a plainer food option for the main course , the starter and sweet were very good , together with an excellent breakfast ; the coffee was the best i have tasted and i sell coffee !

The hotel was peaceful and relaxing. A great break away from the hustle and bustle of life. The staff couldn't have done more to serve our every needs. The food was fantastic. Thanks for a great break.

I can't think of anything bad to say about the hotel.

Clean comfortable room, excellent setting with interesting planted and landscaped grounds available to walk around, quiet at night (important as we are light sleepers), food out of this world, helpful and courteous staff. What more could one wish for.

There is nothing we didn't like. It would have been nice to have a chance to play the fine piano, as we are classical music afficionados, but the opportunity didn't seem to present itself - maybe next time? There was no hot water, which was no great issue as the weather was extremely hot - we reported it as we vacated and no doubt it was promptly dealt with. The bathroom would benefit from mechanical ventilation, as the little skylight was roped shut, presumably for security reasons (Room 14).

Everything was top class.food / service / cleanliness / location. This was our second visit but will not be the last.

Location - excellent. Comfort - excellent. Menu - somewhat short on choice but first class quality. Staff - above excellent. Unfortunately the weather let the stay down.........but I guess that's hardly their fault. Seriously the hotel really is that good but don't expect pool tables and television in the bar.

the hotel grounds and gardens are beautiful, the rooms and the hotel interior were fabulous.

it was obvious that the staff were newly employed, not confident in their roles nor did they have a full understanding of the routines expected of them.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The house is well presented. The food was good, the bedroom clean and comfortable. I found the bed confortable, but my wife felt it was just a little too hard.

Like ever so many hotels, although the bathroom was small it was ample, but there was not enough shelf space to put two wash bags and all our shave and toothbrushes etc. Strangely, there was also too little space to hang up the towels. But the biggest problem was the noises from the central heating - it seemed that the radiators need bleeding of air.

Good location set in its own grounds and a very old building where the hotel had grown within it sympathetically. Lovely ground to wander about in. Staff very good and food was excellent. If we were in this part of the world we would certainly choose this hotel again.

Only slight issue was the background music too loud and seemed to travel up the walls to our bedroom - but when we asked them to turn it down they did so which was a great response

Extremely beautiful building and grounds, well presented and maintained with brilliant, helpful staff.

It is comfortable with a great ambience, good food and good staff.

It is a little over heated.

Pure klasse. Prachtig interieur. Zeer degelijke keuken. Toffe bar en restaurant. Prachtige tuin (bij mooi weder beter genietbaar dan op onze druilerige dag). Was er met 3 vrienden op motorreis en voorts nog 4 andere gasten. Het was dus vrij kalm en dit hotel moet het vooral hebben van feesten en trouwpartijen. Voor de romantici, een aanrader

Wij hadden de goedkoopste kamers geboekt en deze waren zeer mooi ingericht, uitstekende bedden maar een te kleine badkamer. Nu voor de prijs hoor je mij daarover niet neuten.

Freundlicher Empfang und Bedienung. Ruhige Lage inmitten Park. Komfortable Zimmer. Stilvolles Interieur. Gutes Restaurant. Preis-Leistung stimmt.

Nice public rooms. Pleasant gardens. Good cuisine.

Everything good but no swimming pool

Lone traveller was offered to book a place in the restaurant or room service as soon as arrived. Helped with luggage to the room and given the code for the free wifi without even asking. Beautiful large comfortable bedroom with desk to work at.

Quality hotel with excellent services. Great manager who worked tirelessly. Restaurant was top quality.

Rooms comfortable and luxurious, public areas beautifully decorated

the restaurant let the hotel down slightly, and some spa facilities would be an excellent addition
