Friendly staff, excellent location and a great breakfast!
It was a bit old for our taste lovely hotel just wasn't our cup of tea great hosts
Everything was well laid out. Staff were very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Traveling is never easy at the best of times, traveling with a young baby can appear almost impossible. The staff were helpful from the start. We stayed in the luxury room although im aware they have family rooms available. A travel cot was provided with ample bedding and and the room lived up to its name it was a large room and as you would expect clean and tidy with a great king size bed in the centre. the decor was warm and the en suite was a good size also, the whirlpool bath added that extra level of comfort ( our son found it highly entertaining ). The breakfast was a good home cooked afair with a meaty sausage and ample bacon ( excellent provision was made for our son with delicately cut toast soldiers and the offer of scrambled eggs and cereals. All this with the added bonus of no extra charge. All in all it was an exceptional stay under what can be difficult circumstances . A definate thumbs up!
Me and my boyfriend stayed for 1 night the owners were very accomodating, such a lovely place felt very homely
Bedroom very small.
Staff, breakfast, location
Décor, noisy road, poor mattress, worn in places, limited parking.
Very friendly greeting on arrival, room fine and facilities excellent. Superb breakfast......will stay here again without question.
Wi-fi was a bit hit and miss in the room.
The purpose I my visit was for a family funeral so not idea time to assess hotel not obvious problems.
Slightly bumpy bed and needs decluttering!
Just round the corner from the town centre . A short drive to the prom .There were lots of lovely nick nacks throughout the b&b and all spotless . A very comfortable bed in a cosy room.Breakfast was spot on .Can't fault it .
Nothing comes to mind
Loved the room, owner very friendly and helpfull. Would definately stay again.
We enjoyed our stay very much (family of 7). The rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast was generous and tasty. Kind hospitality. High value and reasonable price. Good location for traveling to Snowdonia National Park!
It was all fine.
The staff were friendly and helpful
No local restaurants for dinner
We went for a quiet break that's exactly what we got
Location,friendly staff and the breakfast
The musty, dampish smell in our bedroom
Friendly staff Interesting decor in bedroom. Breakfast good.
Dead Moths on floor in bed room and bathroom there when we arrived and still there when we left so hoovering not done properly or at all? Shower drain very slow. Quality of decor in bedroom not matched by that in rest of hotel. Mattress cover old and worn. Front door lock difficult to use but not explained even though known about. Needs a notice on the door.
Friendly staff Great location Excellent breakfast
Felt like a very well thought out themed Victorian hotel, ideal for many local amenities. Four poster bed had a nice look but wobbled way too much.
Rude hostess with complete lack of personal skills. 'Full English' was one egg, one sausage, one bacon and 'mushrooms' was 1 button mushroom cut into 4 pieces. We felt like we were a nuisance the whole time and couldn't wait to leave. Every time someone on our floor flushed the toilet we has to listen to ten minutes of it going through the pipes.
What's not to like?! Homely environment enhanced by professional approach. Well appointed with a hearty b/fast to end my 1 night stay. I would be stumped if asked to suggest an improvement.
Comfort, friendliness and the breakfast. Attention to detail was paramount.
clean, large rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast.
No heat. Hard beds
A very hospitable host, a beautiful room with tasteful furniture . A stunning dining room and plenty of choice on the menu.
Exactly As we expected for a a single over night stay -good double room with all usual amenities. Full Breakfast the next morning was delicious!
My only criticism is that it could do with a bigger mirror near a plug socket! Only a Minor irritation though.
Many thanks to Gordon and Sandy for giving our stay a personal touch with fresh flowers in the dining room and everywhere was very clean. CCTV over a small car park at the front was reassuring. The hotel is in an upmarket road 5 minutes walk from the high street. The hotel was very busy and managed to retain its olde world charm, enhanced by the owners standards.
We stayed for 3 nights in a compact room which had a 4-poster bed. The bed needs a new mattress as on one side, the springs were pushing up and could be felt.
